“Popped in after a delayed journey of 4 hours so not happy. Went in because next door to the hotel, Beers were superb from a brewery we don't see down south. Menu was good, food was excellent quality and would have expected to pay more for. If it wasn't all homemade it certainly tasted like it was. Staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful without being overbearing. So good we didn't bother looking to go elsewhere on our second night in Chester and it was just as good although mysteriously quiet on a Saturday night? So atmosphere different to the Friday but hey, if this pub was 200 miles closer to me id never be out of it. We hope to be back and will make a point of it if in the area.”

He gave lots of support as the kitchen is not in this area, finding an excellent local fitter. The whole process was seamless as a result of Danny and the Chester’s teams’ diligence.
