Pub in Prescot

“I wandered in on a silent Friday night at approximately 20:28 on the 2023rd year of our lord. My thirst was unimaginable, however the bar staff used their arcane knowledge developed over decades of research to help me quench my hefty thirst. I shall be returning in the not too distant future in order to dwell on my most recent adventures with fellow travellers. Would recommend to thou friends.”

“I come in tonight with my son and puppy, service was great! Very clean and welcoming, was served by faye, she was very happy and chatty which is what you want when walking into a public house, I’ll definitely return as I felt welcomed by the staff! I’ll give 5 stars to Faye for making our experience that bit better, we will definitely be returning!”

“First time I’ve been here, the staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly chatty and funny young ladies, would recommend just for the service, but the food was good too. I only had a jacket potato but staff were more than happy to alter the menu to suit me, choc cake and cream was gorgeous!! Will definitely come back, staff are a credit to establishment.”

“What a fantastic pub this is. Went there yesterday with my dad, son, father in law, brother in law and his son. Lovely atmosphere and the bar manager was such a knowledgeable woman and really lovely to us. Even gave us a plate of mince pies to enjoy with our cask ale. Only £3 a pint of cask on a Monday as well. Will definitely return.”

“I came across across this little gem by accident. I was met by a Hyton girl (Dominque ) who made me welcome. I sat on my own but watched her. She was a bartender, a street fighter and a therapist. Simply magnificent. The following day she encouraged me to marry a regular so I think I'm engaged! Then karaoke where I sang to an ovation. Going back whenever I can. x”

“Great venue for our friends wedding! Good selection of drinks and the bars, room was a lovely setting with the flower wall! Other spaces for the drinks reception and food was great too! Nice outdoor area too, spacious areas to hang out in.”

“Grate pub don't really go anywhere else into the swan for a drink. food is always amazing. All the staff are grate. One in particular is Louis. He always delivers amazing service when on the bar and can have a grate laugh with him”

“Went for lunch the other day, with my daughters. Nice atmosphere, very friendly and polite staff. The food and service was very good. Will definitely be going again. I had gone off pub lunches because of their never changing menus. It was nice to have a few more choices.”

“Just got back from The Stage Door after a “Celebration of Life” for my lovely dad. They did us proud. The place is lovely, food was lovely and the staff really looked after us. Couldn’t recommend them enough. The barmaid was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. (didn’t get her name) She really did look after us all and nothing was too much trouble for her. I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend to anyone 5stars isn’t enough. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the team”

“Stayed in the hotel and had £40 credit to spend on food in the bar so an obvious choice for an evening meal. Excellent food the burgers were really tasty and filling. The chips were warm and tasty. Service staff were very friendly and helpful, drinks and food were all brought out quickly and we were well looked after. Really enjoyable dinning experience, lovely big screens to watch the England final and great social distancing measures in place. Would recommend and visit again even if not staying in the hotel.”
