“Love this place! Managed to book a table last minute on the Friday evening a 6pm. The food was amazing, as always. Never disappointed. Lovely staff, great service. Had pigeon breast, fried zucchini, olives. The pan fried salmon, with asparagus, poached egg, Jersey royal potatoes & hollandaise sauce was exceptional. There were 4 of us, and also had a risotto, and a chicken burger. No room for desserts! Great cocktails too. Have also been for breakfast and lunch before now! Would highly recommend.”

“We ordered in the takeaway on Thursday and was served by a sweet lady (who we assumed was Ruby). Service with a smile, and so so cute! The food was so tasty and such a great value for money. “We had our sons christening reception here, the room was big and is laid out perfect for these types of parties. They had an outdoor play area that’s perfect to keep the kids entertained! The staff are so lovely and helpful they even put out jugs of juice for the little ones. The hire was so affordable and the drinks are cheap too! Highly recommend and will 100% be booking here again for our next party! Thank you to all at the waggon!”

“Fast, friendly service in a bright, airy and modern takeaway. Food tastes fantastic, and is reasonably priced. On one wall has a grid of dishes and sauces with what allegens they each have - useful if you are gluten intolerant to find food you can have :) Highly recommend.”

“Myself and my partner ate here as our first date night during lockdown! We’d been looking for a place that could prepare traditional gyros to help us get over missing Santorini so much. It did not disappoint! I had the halloumi and my partner had the chicken gyros. Massive portions, fast and clean service and so, so yummy! We’ll definitely be visiting again soon!”

“We were so pleased we stopped here to eat as the food it brilliant. It’s a great menu which we would genuinely eat anything from and nice to see something different. Flavours in the gumbo were beautiful and I loved the fact you can heat it up with various different sauces. Our daughter had the ribs and chips and they knocked spots off any previous incarnations of the same. Chips really were good, we will get our own next time. Lovely, friendly guy running the restaurant, he does it all himself and he’s doing a great job. We will be back!”

“Popped in for the first time (Tuesday 3rd June) and I must say how impressed I was by the welcome I received from the lad behind the bar and the customers. We got talking straight away and a “Pop in a for a quick pint” moment led to three. Just moved into the area and will be joining soon.”

“Very nice and lively place. We went there for dinner and the pasta dishes, made by their sister place Pronto Pasta, were absolutely amazing. Also the Selekt Spiritz made by the bartender of the Venetian was great, true Venice style. Highly recommended.”
