“Absolutely brilliant practice all the staff are so caring and wonderful. I’ve only had the best experiences here with my little Hercules! They always went above and beyond for him would highly recommend this practice to anyone!”
“I have been with rufford vets for many years and my dogs have always had the best care! They are a brilliant vet practice.”
“Tim Dale is the most amazing vet ever he really knows what he is doing, he really cares about your pet hes literally a life saver. I won't take my guinea pigs anywhere else, my guinea was so poorly and Tim spent a long time with him cleaning him up treating him and sorting out lots of medications and treatment plan for him, he skipped his own lunch break to save my pig in crisis. Tim is the man thank you I am forever grateful”
“Highly recommend this practice, have been using them for many years. Jonathan’s care and compassion for our cat is much appreciated, along with his support for us. Sadly not the outcome we wanted, but our little one was in the very best hands to the end.”
“Very helpful, good customer service and everyone is just very nice and helpful”
“I can thoroughly recommend this veterinary practice, the staff are wonderfully friendly, helpful people and everywhere is spotlessly clean. I was trying to register an older animal belonging to a homeless person, this seemed to be a big problem for another practice in the city, the receptionist was snooty so I decided to call into Borras Vets, the reception there was vastly different. Unfortunately there was a shortage of immediate appointments due the 2 consecutive bank holiday weekends so I took the first availability, however, this was not needed on the day so I cancelled and offered to pay because of the short notice but they wouldn't hear of it and assured me they would be able to fill the space time and again, which I thought was very good of them. Should I ever have a pet of my own in the future I shall definitely make this practice my first port of call.”
“Very professional and caring vet's surgery. Always very happy with the treatment provided and the advice given.”
“Excellent staff and warm and welcoming for your beloved Pet. I will be using Bromborough site for all my Cats needs”
“Excellent. Could not do more for my dog. Looked after her during her op for cancer. She has regular check ups and are always there to help me with any concerns or questions that I have. Would not go anywhere else .”
“My little Daisy had to be put to sleep on Thursday at the age of 16 (17 in May) due to chronic unmanageable arthritic pain. It was the hardest decision of my life. It's always only ever been me and my dog and I'm truly lost with out her. I write this review because 9 months ago I left a review on the mold site about how I felt Daisy's care was in good hands in her life with this teams help. We don't ever think how the end will go untill we are faced with it. Jack and amy were absolutely amazing on Thursday. They came out to my home and handled Daisy with care and respect and made it so comfortable and peaceful for her. I'm traumatised at the moment and feel heartbroken but I'm being blessed that in the flashbacks I see Jack handling her like you want anyone to handle your baby in those moments. Amy was incredible too... she held by little Daisy's face so gently and held her whilst the line was in after she lovingly sedated her. She to was caring and respectful with empathy too. I can't thank these amazing humans enough. I have alot of love for them. They carried my beautiful dog out with respect in a lovely blanket and assured me they would look after her which touched me so deeply. I often joked they were our family as we don't have family, but truly, I do feel Daisy was treated like more than a animal through out her care and right up until Thursday (more like a member of the Flint teams family). Jack? Amy? I truly have alot of love and respect for you. I also love Ange (Fints main receptionist) I say receptionist but she is also more important than that. This lady makes every dog welcome and daisy loved the one on one and Ange on our ladt list last month got down on the floor and sat talking to me whilst I was upset over Daisy's lack of quality of life. This woman loves animals and people and I love her for loving Daisy. Jim? Will?, Jordan? And Zoe? Love and respect to you all too for the care you gave my baby in her tough years that made vet trips more often in the last couple of years. Jack? The handwritten card has made my pain feel truly seen and a beautiful touch (I recieved it today on my first Saturday with out her) Love and hugs, Daisy's mum x”
“We had to take my daughter hamster to be put to sleep as she had a cancer they where brilliant with her and my daughter. We have just received a card saying sorry about your lost would definitely recommend them”
“I want to sincerely thank the entire veterinary team and the surgeon for the exceptional care they provided to my dog. He recently underwent surgery for a liver shunt, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the skill, compassion, and dedication everyone showed throughout the process. It’s been just a few days since his operation, and he’s already doing so much better. Seeing him regain his appetite, energy, and personality has been such a relief. This surgery has given him the chance at a longer, healthier life, and I’m beyond thankful for that. Thank you again to everyone who took such wonderful care of him — your expertise and kindness made all the difference.”
“Animal Trust Ellesmere Port is a lifesaver. After another local emergency vet tried to pressure me into euthanising my 3-year-old cat due to high costs (£2000+) and a misdiagnosed blockage where the other vet had also already prepped my cat for euthanasia BEFORE I had even signed any consent forms! I brought him here for a second opinion. The team here was incredible. They were ready for us immediately, performed an ultrasound, gave IVs and medication, and confirmed there was actually NO blockage and NO stones. The bill was only around £220, including take-home meds. They are honest, kind, and reasonably priced. I am so grateful to have my cat home safe. I highly recommend them to anyone. The nurse that saw us when we dropped him off and picked him up was an absolute star who explained everything very thoroughly and told us that surgery wasn't necessary for our cat and so they would refund us for that fee.”
“Absolute diamonds these vets. My dog had a choking incident and after attempting everything we had to take him to a vet and these vets jumped to our aid. We weren't registered but yet they dropped everything there and then to help us with our dog. Fortunately my dog managed to dislodge the chew and it was all okay. But these guys were ready as soon as we got there . Thank-you so much from all our family and of course our dog Odin. Best wishes this Christmas and for New year.”
“To everyone who helped save our Bruno today I can not thank you enough . Can I also thank all the other pet owners who had to re-book from the bottom of my heart thank you this after noon you truly are the most beautiful passionate and gifted people I have ever met in my life may god bless you all xxx”
“We lost our beloved Bailey on the 16th April. We finally got her Ashes, paw print, some fur and a lovely card with a beautiful verse which brought tears to ours eyes. Thankyou.”
“We had cause to be at the vet this week with our dog (Maggi) the vet gave her a good exam and then proceeded to explain all options to us. We have seen this vet before she is a lovely person very caring with Maggi. I love the fact that she goes into detail to make sure we get the right treatment for our beloved dog. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. Would happily recommend them to family and friends.”
“Happy with the way everything was explained to us about our dogs condition amd the best treatments for him , nice small friendly vets .”
“Staff were very attentive to Merlin my cocker spaniel who was very excited. Staff are friend and welcoming. The vet took her time demonstrated her knowledge by answering ours questions and providing reasurance. The environment was clean and welcoming.”
“I've just registered with these vets as I was very unhappy with my previous vets (medivet, scotchbarn lane). The difference in care and helpfulness is unbelievable. From the moment i walked in, my dog was well looked after and fussed over. Receptionist were lovely and helpful and vets are very knowledgeable and caring.”
“Always caring, the receptionist are so welcoming and happy to help. Vets are great and putting our dog at ease and really care for them I have already recommended Medivet to my friends. I have tried other local vets but not happy with them.”
“Took my 2 year old Dwarf hamster for an emergency on the day appointment for a possible impacted cheek pouch. We saw Dr. R Davies and he spent a great deal of time examining his patient to ensure he got the correct diagnosis. He figured out it was a case of my hamster not being able to empty his pouch on his own and proceeded to empty it for him using a manual intervention. This was entirely successful much to the relief of both my hamster and myself. He also saw there was a lump on his head that I never noticed, which proved how in-depth his examination was and went through possible treatment plans. I must commend Dr Davies on his professional expertise and also the manner in which he handled my pet and myself. Also can I add how lovely the receptionist was who greeted me and put me at ease. If your hamster suffers from a possible impacted pouch too, you must ensure you get this seen to immediately by a trained professional. I highly recommend this practice for their expertise, availability and great value for money.”
“Absolutely brilliant dealing with our 2 old english bulldogs”
“Hi I took my German shepherd in to Aintree today. Her name is Harley and has always been treated in Aintree and I must say she has been treated for 10 years and never a complaint. Today was by far the best. Thanks to the 2 nurses again thank you from me and Harley….”
