We finally settled on a destination and then she also sorted out our travel insurance. On arriving home found an email to state Isla had booked us onto a free excursion. “Being a larger man I was dreading drudging around lakeside being told " we only do your size online" so when I walked into N A Menswear on Saturday 23/03/24 I spoke to a very well dressed chap ( I an sorry I didn't get his or the lady who helped me Sunday) who couldn't do enough to help. He found the biggest jacket in the shop, but was not big enough, so he was on the phone and found a black suit, to be collected by a colleague on her way in on Sunday. I tried the 3 piece suit on and as he was aware I needed it on Tuesday he turned up the trousers while we waited . I can't thank N A Menswear of lakeside enough for your personal assistance in purchasing this suit and I will highly recommended that they come to you first. Thank you again.”

“I walked in here for the first time in 9 years and it had changed drastically, in a positive way. I was greeted with smiles which instantly lifted my mood. I came in here for the pool, which I must say, is the best pool table I’ve played on, immaculate. The service was second to none, and il be coming back.”

“Excellent customer service at Clarks Thurrock Lakeside from Ayesha. A very busy store. I wanted to try some different styles of shoes. Ayesha was brilliant in advising the best shoes that matched what I was looking for and provided me with the various sizes. What made her brilliant was that she knew the products and was patient whilst I tried on the shoes. No rushing and very polite and professional!”

“Has most of the items you would need for various pets. I have a ball python and the staff an knowledgeable about them and have the frozen rats i need for food. Staff all seem like genuine pet lovers/animal lovers which goes a long way in these kind of stores. Shoped here for many years for dog/snake/guinea pigs. Always helpfull.”

“Was greeted by Charlotte while browsing the Tudor collection. She was extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was a bother and I never felt rushed at all. Was offered refreshments throughout and we chatted loads about the Tudor range. She really knows her stuff and is very passionate about the brand. Adam joined us to help with the part exchange and I think we were all equally happy with the final deal. Luckily I also purchased a couple of weeks before the Tudor price increase which meant the deal was even sweeter. I will definitely recommend Emson Haig, Charlotte and Adam if you are looking to purchase a Tudor in the SE of England and Essex area. Another member of the other staff, can’t think of the ladies name, was very friendly and chatty as well. The whole experience was a pleasure. I came back later in the day to collect the watch and Charlotte made the handover. Everything was explained very professionally but in an easy to understand manner. I am now the owner of a wonderful Tudor Black Bay Burgundy and will be revisiting them in the future for any purchases I’m looking to make. “Chiktopia is a good place to sit in, fresh decor, bench style tables.I enjoyed the vanilla milkshake compared to other places. The skinny fries tasted full of flavour and not bland. The chicken burger was actually delicious as well! There are also self-service machines where you can order your food items for dine-in and or takeaway. Scan the table placard and put it on your table. Service was pretty quick, polite staff. Good job for your first opening at Lakeside!”

“I do love wilko I always end up spending more than I intend to. They have such a wide range of items in here as it's quite a big one. Everything is neat and its easy to find items. The staff are helpful when you need something however, there never seems to be enough staff as I'm always looking around for one whenever I'm in there. The shop is super bright so it looks more spacious. I always find things I need in there.”
