“We had such a wonderful time at Bafarat Cafe, it was an impromptu visit and I am so glad we popped in. The cakes were so delicious, coffee was also good and the people serving so lovely. I am so glad we discovered it and can't wait to visit again! I love hazelnuts, so the Paris Breast was my obvious choice. A perfect balance of nutty, creamy, crunchy and salty flavours! “Last week, my husband, our kid a nd I visited this spot during our London trip—£25 for 1.5 hours was so worth it! There were tons of fun things to do. We played the claw machines over and over, and that excitement of trying to grab a toy was awesome. We even ended up with two rubber balls—such a nice little win! All the staff here were amazing. The albanian manager was really friendly as well. Shoutout to Paulina too—she was lovely! We’ll 100% come back the next time we’re in London. Highly recommend it for families!”

“Great park for a dog walk, always very well maintained, clean and tidy with a nice woodland walk, kids play area, picnic area, table tennis, outdoor gym and a few tennis courts. Highly recommended.”

“My stay for 2 nights here was lovely. They room was spacious and had all the basic amemities including a Nespresso machine. The only let down in my opinion was the size of the bathroom which was tiny. The staff at reception as well as the restaurant are amazing and genuinely care of the guests.”

Fatima and her team in the restaurant were wonderful, helping us navigate much needed breakfast while we were there. Good food and lodgings. Good local transport to Heathrow and London. “As the hotel is connected directly to terminal 5 . It makes it easy to do the night before check in, buy any last minute essentials landside, or even have a meal or drink. The room was quiet and comfortable. I had checked in on line so a very quick wait upon arrival for our key, and we were relaxing in our room. Beds comfortable, bathroom a good size. We didn't book breakfast as our flight was at 8am and we didn't want to rush. We grabbed a quick coffee and croissant at the gate, before boarding . Service is quiet and understated, but always consistent. For ease and convenience we would always recommend a stay here.”

“Can’t recommend this place enough! It’s minutes away from the train station, rooms are spacious, there’s air con, comfortable bed, good breakfast times, quiet and I left an item behind in the room and they were absolute stars in getting it back to me. Such friendly helpful staff, had a great stay and then helping me afterwards was just the cherry on top!”

“Just stayed here for the 3rd time and still doesn’t disappoint! The staff are amazing. Very helpful and accommodating. Shout to David (sp?) at the front desk for looking after me during my stay. The rooms are modern and are well kept. Great sleeping conditions too. For Elites, the breakfast is next level and nothing runs out. Location is more Kilburn than Maida Vale, so just be prepared. Tons of shops and quick restaurants around. Only gripe is that there’s not a dedicated elite lounge. They make up for this by having complimentary drinks and appetizers at happy hour. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Decent buffet breakfast for 11.99 for people that don't even stay: they advertise on the window. Nice staff and all you could ask in a breakfast. Cooked, fruit salad, pastries, hot drinks.”

“Stay here a few times, for the value you seriously can't fault Mama Shelter. Always very welcoming and the rooms and furnished to a high standard and always clean. Some nice extras and great breakfast. The restaurant downstairs is super tasty and offers a unique room service/pick-up system. If you stay at The Hoxton, Mama Shelter gives a similar feel (same group) - location is ok but not the best.”

“Excellent hotel. Not far from restaurants. The staff were very kind and helpful. Nothing too much trouble for them. There are a few steps up to the hotel. I have a mobility scooter, to bring indoors. There was an accessible lift round the back and was helped in and out of the hotel. The restaurant food was wow good. Plenty of choice for breakfast and good quality.”

“Plenty of open space and wooded areas to explore, with the well appointed hub for all your other needs(cafe, toilets), and a great play park for the kiddies. Miniature railway and a small farm nearby, can't recommend enough. We went for this year's fireworks display and it didn't disappoint. Well worth a family visit.”

“I visited Muswell Hill after many years. I had the tuna mayo sandwich, it was a decent sandwich, nice thick bread and generous filling with a bit of salad. Definitely worth a quick bite.”

“Our family booked The Hammer In Hand for a wake yesterday. Staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Prices were extremely reasonable and the food served was fresh with a great variety of rolls. The whole day was made so much easier with the great service we received from everyone there. Thank you. “I cannot recommend North London Furniture highly enough. The owners, Mark and Laura, are extremely kind, personable, professional and knowledgeable. Their many years of experience really shine through: they offered unbiased advice, explained various options and gave me their professional opinion, which turned out to be absolutely correct. I have long-standing back problems, but after several months of sleepless nights and wrong mattress purchases I finally received the best advice and found the right mattress. The delivery was punctual and to the actual bedroom, despite it being upstairs. The mattress recommended by Mark and Laura was life-changing for me, and within a couple of nights I was practically pain-free. Moreover, prices are extremely affordable for what are clearly very good quality items. I will definitely be recommending this shop to friends and family, and plan to go back for other items of furniture soon. Thank you so much!”

“Stayed for two nights, thanks to a layover coming home from Italy. Perfect location for short term London visits. Took the Elizabeth train to West End one night and caught a bus to Oxford the next day...both conveniently from Heathrow. Room was plenty big enough and comfortable. Staff friendly throughout the stay. On last morning, went from room through airport security in less than 30 minutes. Will gladly stay here again for one- or two-night visits.”

“Small but cosy rooms with high-quality sheets and towels. The staff are pleasant, and the breakfast is very good. The cookies at reception are excellent. Do note that laundry charges incur an additional 20% VAT on top of the listed prices. Also, if it’s raining, be prepared to navigate a few puddles on the short walk to Ealing Broadway.”

“Hotel is in great location, easy to access via public transport. Room was spacious and surprisingly quiet even the room faced busy roads. Every member of staff was kind and accomodating from check in. Breakfast had plenty of options, from cooked meals to cereals. Plus point that they serve coctails as well. It was a great stay. “We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s perfectly located, just a few minutes from the metro, in a lively business district with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Great for breakfast or lunch outside — but the hotel restaurant is also excellent, with a lovely atmosphere and delicious food. The room was very comfortable, quiet, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, special mention to Ihjas. Our children were so happy to celebrate their birthday in London, and we’ll keep such great memories of our stay. We’ll definitely be back soon for our next trip to London!”

“This is a grand hotel. Impeccable service. Very helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Rooms are very quiet. Bed are grand and rooms adequate. Location is fabulous, as it sits across from Hyde Park. Two tube stops nearby, only a few steps from the hotel entrance. Restaurants within two blocks provide varied menus, which is good since restaurant at the hotel has a limited menu and subpar service. Highly recommended overall.”
