“I liked them, and Greek food they serve! I have been there twice, the first one we went with mezzes and the second one with main dishes. I loved each time the food I tried! I especially liked baked feta cheese pastry, which was nice with thin dough. I also liked the kofte (meatball) I tried yesterday evening. Although they serve Greek food, the staff is not Greek and there are non-Greek dishes on the menu. It’s located close to St Pancras/King’s Cross, quite central and easy to walk from the station. The staff is nice and kind, they serve really nice. In the last time, we did not have a res and just walked in; the guy was so kind in preparing a table for us right away. The food is good and nicely prepared and I would say the portions are big anough as well. It’s a good value for quality and moderate pricing. Highly recommended!”
“Great German food and beer (Paulaner and Erdinger). We came to see the River Culture Festival, not easy to get a table on terrace (also cannot book a table in terrace - first some first serve), so we sit inside at the beginning but then we eventually got a table. We had currywurst, black forest and apple strudel, Oh my God all are delicious! We definitely will come back one day for beautiful river view on the terrace and the food.”
“Huge portions for an honest price. Found some amazing vegan dishes. The veggies look super fresh and everything is tasty and nice looking. The staff was super nice, I asked for a paper cup for my coke but they didn’t have any so the guy want in the back and washed one of the glasses that were clearly just for the employees and offered it to me.”
“This pub is fabulous! My new fave In the neighborhood. Large space. Excellent Craft beer selections that change regularly. And fabulous service…. Especially bartender Charlie! Go there, and cheers!!”
“Everyday Levantine at Mini Hiba – Walthamstow Mini Hiba brings the heart of Lebanese home cooking to East London with quiet confidence. A smaller offshoot of the well-loved Hiba in Holborn, this spot on Wood Street offers fresh, flavourful dishes in a relaxed, takeaway-friendly setting. The menu is compact but satisfying — think falafel wraps, lamb shawarma, batata harra, and creamy hummus Beiruty. We tried the vegan mezze platter and a chicken shawarma wrap: the falafel was crisp and fragrant, the tabbouleh fresh and zesty, and the garlic sauce had just the right kick. The knafeh for dessert was a sweet, cheesy delight — a perfect finish. Service is fast and friendly, and the prices are fair for the quality and portion size. While the space is small and geared more toward takeaway, there’s a cozy charm to it — clean, unpretentious, and full of regulars who clearly know a good thing when they taste it. It’s also a great option for vegetarians, vegans, and halal diners, with plenty of clearly marked choices. Whether you’re grabbing lunch on the go or picking up dinner for the family, Mini Hiba delivers on flavour and friendliness.”
“Great food. The wrap was freshly prepared n not pre packed or from frozen. The food also is calaries balanced. Customer service is exceptionally wonderful for a London restaurant. Quick selections via kiosk and dine in or take out.”
“Really good place! I had the lamb and it was incredibly tasty. The whole plate combination was really good. My wife had the burger and she liked it too. There was complementary bread with butter. They have children menu as well. We enjoyed the evening.”
“I LOVED this place. The food is top notch! The service is next level!! Warner and Sheila are AMAZING!! So nice!! Definitely recommend!!”
“The Lamb sausage with chickpea stew and flatbread is delicious. Flavoursome, great textures and very comforting on these autumnal days. Would recommend. Great ambience with chilled tunes on too.”
“This little gem has great blues/ soul music, amber lighting and phenomenal food and drinks. The food is so cheap and clearly very good quality. Service was super friendly and helpful. New study spot secured + there is wifi!”
“This place is incredible. The schnitzel is delicious! Everyone who works here is incredibly hospitable and friendly, and of course a special mention goes to Joeseph who will play multiple instruments, sing Austrian songs and bring you up to play bells with him. Honestly has been one of the best dinner experiences I’ve had!”
“We visited on Sunday to enjoy the Sunday roast, and the whole dining experience felt very warm and welcoming. Both the beef and pork belly were seasoned beautifully, and everything was cooked with great care. It was such a lovely atmosphere for a family meal, and we’d definitely love to come back again.”
“From the gorgeous staff to food to drinks, I can't think of a better night out I've had in London in a long while. The hummus, and paneer kebab topped the food for me but nothing disappointed. The staff were friendly, chatty and professional from Joe our cocktail man who got creative with a bourbon Espresso martini to Fiona the wonderful hostess and Adri our waitress. They were full of knowledge about the food and drinks and made our experience unforgettable. Also the prices, this place is so reasonable for portion sizes sizes quality of both food and drink. Big up you all and see you very soon xxx”
“It's fantastic! I I really enjoyed the services; the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic!”
“This place is the bomb! Marvelous selection of beers. Mouthwatering eats. Our double cheese amaze burger and seitan spicy “wings” were simply to die for. Hot n spicy! And the beers… I highly recommend Down to Earth pale ale and of course Punk IPA!”
“A charming old-timer just off the Crystal Palace triangle, promising a good bite to eat. Food is both generous and affordable, and the service is always welcoming. It’s also a relaxing atmosphere for a quiet read or to complete some work ✨”
“Excellent food and atmosphere at the White Haus! Lovely festive vibe and great decor. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to others.”
“Cool basement spot with great selection of craft beers, including some proprietary stuff. Seems they take darts very seriously. Also, I'm not from London but I found it to be in kind of a hidden spot down an alleyway. Loved it!”
“I'm not sure why, but I genuinely believe these are the best classic burgers around. There's also a great selection of beers, which makes it such a delightful place to keep coming back to. I really enjoy my visits here!”
“Great atmosphere... sweet and delicate waitress inviting me to get to the place. La BONITA is a great place to dine in Clean and well organized. Food are delicious and the service is efficient. All you need for a nice lunch or a relaxing dinner... new in the area. Try it. The owner is a humble persone were you can see the passion in what he does... give it a try it's worth”
“I have been using this cafe for a long time. It is clean, has good service, the food is good and the price is very reasonable. I recommend it to everyone.”
“One of the best giant pretzels I’ve ever had! Not the ones drenched in butter. Crunchy outside and properly dense. Platters make a feast! The knuckles! Juicy was flowing out when I was cutting the meat. Crunchy crust and tender meat. The schnitzels are nicely seasoned, savory and citrusy. The spicy sausages are lovely and others too. The mushroom sauce is so rich and aromatic. Curry sauce is aromatic. The gravy is lowkey in comparison but tastes nice too. The fries are better than average in UK, crispy.”
“I've enjoyed the food each time I've been to Bodeans. The burnt ends are a particular favourite of mine and I'm always tempted to order them. The staff have always been really helpful and provided a great service. I can highly recommend.”
“Birthday treat, first time here, and loved it. Super nice German bratwurst, lovely steins of beer, walked in, stumbled out. Great fun. Highly recommend.”
“Paul B is a ROCKSTAR!!! Really lovely service!! Thank you! Atmosphere…it just requires a bit of tweaking with the speakers. There were some lovely singers tonight but the sound was too strong in speakers above our heads making it hard to chat. We mentioned it to another lovely guy who helped at our table & he turned it down a little! Restaurant was buzzy, food was quite nice. Wade on the door takes a PERFECT photo!!”
“Joe Allen never fails to impress. Had a wonderful lunch with friends and they always make us feel so at home. There was a mix up with my booking but was quickly rectified. Food and drinks were wonderful as always. Secret not so secret burger is as lush as ever. Will keep coming back. Keep on being fabulous. Staff make the restaurant.”
“Really very nice. Food and drink were all very nice, special shout out for the fried chorizo lollipops, which I think took the crown. There’s a kids menu with a good selection of the more ‘kid friendly’ dishes, which our son loved. Service was very good, food came out quickly but you’re left plenty of time to enjoy.”
“Stepping into this restaurant feels like stepping into a cozy corner of Eastern Europe — every wall is alive with culture, from embroidered fabrics and musical instruments to rustic crafts that tell a story of heritage and pride. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to slow down and savour a hearty meal. But the real highlight is the papanași, a traditional Romanian dessert that completely stole the show.”
“OMG, as a polish culture lover, I found their sausage one of the most authentic I tried in London. Marek was on top of the service, nice and polite and he directed me to order exactly what I wanted. Great experience”
“Absolutely fantastic. 10 years plus since I’ve had Weißwurst. Just as I remember it. The skin peeled back lovely, beer and mustard worked well together. All you could want from a Bavarian breakfast apart from it was after 12! Rear terrace peaceful and plenty of shade.”
