“Today I had a medical review with HCA, Millie. This was by far THE best medical appointment I have ever experienced. That may sound gushy and OTT but over my lifetime I have had such mixed experiences that to have someone truly listen and hear me has genuinely made an incredible difference to my mood. I was anxious and unsure with more questions than I thought we would get through but she instantly put me at ease. She answered my questions thoroughly and explained what to expect from any follow up appointments that would be needed. I truly feel that The North London Health Centre are trying to put patients at the heart of their practice and this is a great way to start.”

“Very friendly gym. Nice and cheerful staff. Used the Gym for a long time, loved the Body Pump classes and the main gym area. Few machines can be replaced but again you are not paying through the roof to get into a 5 star facility. It is a good gym and a nice bunch of people. Good timings and decently maintained. “It is common knowledge that NHS is on its knees and that an average waiting time for an appointment is couple of weeks. That's why I ended up trying to deal with an insect bite turning nasty at home and kept dismissing family suggestions to get medical attention. Finally on a late afternoon on 28/08/25 I called surgery thinking this was going to be a waste of time. Well, it was amazing experience. Lovely and attentive lady receptionist listened and acted with due care. She directed me to another surgery, booked my appointment, send me location. I was seen by a doctor one hour later, got my prescription, was told where to go to get meds at that late hour. Everyone - reception team at Park Way surgery, reception team at Farley Road surgery, doctor at Farley Road surgery - were amazing. And that's not a word I use often in same sentence as "NHS", sadly. I called next day to thank the reception team. I understand the constraints but I can't help to be impressed by my experience.”

“We all know GP surgeries are super busy and often stretched thin. That’s why I was so blown away by the amazing team at Gilbert House Surgery. I put in a prescription request, something that usually takes up to three working days elsewhere, and they had it sorted in under an hour. All I said was that I was travelling and needed it within the next couple of days. The receptionist was incredible, even towards her the end of her morning shift, she made sure she passes my request in person to the duty doctor. Dr. Dalia Jacob was absolutely brilliant, getting the prescription ready in no time while seeing other patients and sending me a text message to confirm it's ready. They worked together to get it done quickly and even gave me a call to let me know it was ready. Huge thanks to the whole team for being so kind, understanding, and just genuinely caring. You really made my day!”

Originally, I did have a few issues with the reception team when it came to never getting a call back or responding back to my emails, but eventually this was resolved. As for my treatment, Mr Rohit Singh Dhillon was excellent! Very informative and friendly, you knew that he knew exactly what he was talking about, and after a half an hour session with him, my back felt very relieved and i felt a lot more flexible. Rohit is a gem and ill definitely be coming back to visit him again in the future!”

The therapist was an excellent listener and offered very practical guidance that I could apply right away. The approach was structured and “textbook” based—I was given a workbook to follow and had weekly homework. While this may not suit everyone, I found the structure really beneficial, as it kept me focused and engaged in my progress. I actually appreciated having a clear plan to follow. For a free service, I honestly can’t fault it. It was very supportive and effective, and I’m grateful for the help I received.”
