“My wife and I made a last minute booking with Original Travel; they took my brief and then responded quickly with a plan. we reviewed, made a few changes with input from them, and booked the trip. (Two other travel companies had failed to arrange a similar trip). Thereafter whatever unforeseen events interfered in moving locations or hotels was taken care of by OT and their concierge service. The trip, which included going to the Artic, and then north Norway, loads of excursions, all went to plan. Great trip!”

“It was a stupidly hot late June day and as we were traveling back from Hampton Court Palace, we met a local whose parents also happened to be staying at the same hotel (The Selwyn) as us. We were on the last leg of four straight weeks of international travel and safari…we were EXHAUSTED and wanted a good simple dinner super close to the hotel and The Red Cow was recommended to us. The bartender was awesome, but made my day when he noticed how hot and tired we looked and brought me a pint glass filled to the brim with ice, to go with my fruity cider I was trying. Divine! Small gesture, big impact. Enjoyed a delicious dinner, football match on the tv, and we’d stay here instead of The Selwyn next visit. Also, don’t recall the name of this drink he recommended, but it was perfect at the end of a long, hot day. Thank you!”

“Wedding venue We got married at the Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond on the 18th of October and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day. We chose the winter wedding package, and everything from start to finish was beautifully organised. Laure was absolutely wonderful – calm, patient, and so responsive throughout the whole planning process. She explained everything clearly, gave fantastic advice, and it was lovely to have her there on the day with her calm, kind and reassuring manner. The venue looked stunning, with the room very professionally set up and the riverside location providing a beautiful backdrop. The food was exceptional – so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was and how smoothly the whole day ran. The fire pit, hot chocolate, and mulled wine were the perfect added touches for an autumn wedding. A huge thank you to Laure, Sherry, and the entire team at the Bingham Riverhouse for making our wedding day so special. Everything was flawless, and we’ll remember the day for years to come. “Would totally recommend Kew Dogs. Sadie (silly puppy) and Iggy (sensible older dog) go together and are very well looked after. Very useful for an energetic and social puppy. Wing is super understanding about our ever chaotic schedule and it is a life saver when juggling work commitments. And Jeremy clearly loves them and treats them with great care. Great service. And lovely photos every day.”

“Great stay, lovely staff. Clean modern room. Nice pool. Breakfast not too busy even at peak time and hot fresh food. Location not particularly close to much public transport but that won’t be an issue for everyone”

“Quiet hostel with decent rooms. The room I stayed in had a twin bunk bed which was good for me since I was traveling alone. I stayed for one night . The downstairs is a bar in the evening. Overall it was a good hostel with a relaxed vibe.”

“Rooms are spacious for two! - At no extra cost! Friendliest Staff available on hand! Kitchen is a bit small for people who like cooking a lot. Right next to Kingston Station and Cromwell Bus station, easiest way to access other places from by walking for 30 seconds either side of the exit. Overall a great student accommodation with access to a common room, washer room and a bike storage room for any extra needs!”

“I came to Richmond to visit Kew Gardens and booked an afternoon tea for four here. We had the most lovely and delicious experience. Cakes, quiches, scones, clotted cream, big tea selection, the works. The staff were so nice, helpful, and efficient. It was a beautiful Saturday in September and the place was not too busy. The quality and presentation was better than most afternoon tea spots in London (city center) and at least 1/3 the price… I will be back.”

“A hidden gem in a great location. I couldn’t have asked for more while up in London working. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable and peaceful and the owners were on hand if needed but otherwise left you to it. They were very helpful when the internet went down (not their fault! There were works being done in the area) and even removed a rather large spider! Fresh pain au chocolat every day and Nespress coffee machine too. A really brilliant find and I’ll come again as well as recommend to my friends.”
