βWe rent a volleyball court here regularly. Met manager Delia recently - sheβs amazing, super friendly, and always ready to help. Makes our experience even better.β
βLovely place for all things exercise and activities from small babies to adults. There something for everyone one. For special occasion to random moments. Make sure you download the Lambeth active app, helpful to find out prices and timings. It's a little pricey at the present, like anything Β£ in London is gone up. But the staff is helpful and kind. If you need support just ask. We had to go down tge road Β£ shop to buy gloves for Ice skating, but the children had a blast. Ten out of ten. Lovely facilities all clean and working. Gym, swimming pool, ice skating and soft play, ...cafΓ©...and more. Parking by Tesco next door. If you have questions call.β
βA decent sport centre, You'll need to book all the activities on the Better website beforehandβ
βI have received absolutely outstanding service since joining Loughton Leisure Centre. From the very beginning, Sharon, one of the managers, has been nothing short of amazing. I initially enquired online and was quickly contacted by Sharon, who followed up with a phone call and arranged a tour. I suffer with excruciating pain and often find gyms intimidating, but Sharonβs kind and genuine nature instantly put me at ease. At one point, I became tearful during our conversation, and she didnβt just brush it off β she listened, handed me a tissue, and gave me a reassuring hug. There was never any pressure to join; instead, I felt supported and understood. That made all the difference. Since signing up, Iβve been attending regularly, and the atmosphere continues to be welcoming. Becca, another member of staff, always greets members with a big smile and even remembers names β such a simple but meaningful touch that makes you feel valued. Both Sharon and Becca are a true credit to the Centre. Iβve already recommended Loughton Leisure Centre to friends and family so they too can experience the top-class service and supportive environment. Since joining, my pain has become more manageable, and I genuinely look forward to coming in. Thank you to Sharon, Becca, and the whole team for all you do for the community β it really makes a difference!β
βVisited βGrandmaβs Atticβ Antique & Collectors Fairs being held at Woking Leisure Centre. The perfect venue for such an event, plenty of parking - free on Sunday & Bank Holiday, nice reception are with a coffee shop. The fair was held in normally would be a sports area with plenty of room and lots of stalls, nice people and a beautiful selection of interesting items.β
βWe bought tickets before seeing the reviews (rookie move) and almost didnβt bother going thinking it would be akin to Sodom and Gomorrah. Spoiler: it wasnβt. We parked (on instruction) at the college next door; it was free, but I suspect we were only allowed there as term had finished (at least for college students). It was a ridiculously hot day (August 11) and we were told there was something like 2,500 people there. While there were lots of kids, it was mainly pre-school as the term hadnβt come to an end. We arrived at 10:30. It took us less than three mins to get in and on our way. It looked (and was) clean and well maintained. We found ourselves a spot by the hedge in the park to the right (where Mexican cafe is). Yes, it got busy, but there was enough space for everyone. The pool is a little chilly when you jump in, but you get used to it very quickly. Most people were well behaved and only one or two played music (but not very loud). Weβd come prepared with our own chairs, cool box and food - this was the best idea. Would we go back? Absolutely.β
βA very pleasant experience. Lovely grounds to explore. Staff were courteous and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfy bed. We used the swimming pool and this facility was great addition. I didn't use the gym but gym equipment looked modern and well maintained. In the evening, we had a cocktail each which we enjoyed immensely. The evening meal was wonderful and a special mention to both Anthony and James. That was the best burger I have experienced in a very long time. Sublime. The breakfast was excellent with everyone catered for. Highly recommended stay.β
βOne afternoon, I came in to enrol my 11 year old son for swimming lessons, and I was helped by Korina. She was absolutely wonderfulβso kind, friendly, and patient. She took the time to show me around the pool and the family changing area, and made sure everything was clear and sorted for me. (She kindly gave me her email address in case I had more questions later.) My son's been taking group lessons every week. We're happy to be part of the centre.β
βIt is a well-maintained ice rink and pretty big in size. Parents or carers have a place to sit and watch. My kids had a fun time. The only thing to consider is if you can climb up and down 3-4 flights of stairs as it is on the top floor.β
βQuite beautiful. Nice place to fish and contemplate.β
βSun 2 Nov 2025 21Β° C, sunny weather Swimming pool looks pristine. Staff is very helpful and the crowd is chill.β
βGot 29 mins of free parking. Was in row Zone A row 8/9 and right under the landing path of the jets. Great bonus, if you've never been under the jets landing before.β
βTolworth Recreation Centre is quite a good place, offering a gym, sauna, and steam room, although these areas are a bit small. They also provide facilities for football, tennis, badminton, trampolining, and many more activities, making it a useful spot for a variety of sports and fitness.β
βAmazing lido, great value for money. We drove about 1 hr from london just to go here and had a great time. The facilities were clean, love the fact that there are warm and cold showers outside. Changing rooms were basic but no complaints. there's a shop inside to buy snacks, you can also bring your own floats and get them filled up for a Β£1 each and buy new floats for adults and children. they even have small rings and boats for the babies. life guards were attentive too. I recommend you take your camping chairs and a picnic, but there are a few places to sit whilst there too. We will be back very soon.β

βThis gym is a hidden gem. Quiet at the right times with stunning sunset views of the City. In many ways it feels more exclusive than the subterranean luxe gyms nearby that cost 10 x more and are 10 x busier. No frills, but I live 2 minutes away, so donβt need a towel and luxe showers. Very friendly and helpful staff - they are all lovely. Luca the PT is a top tier trainer and a credit to the gym.β
βI have been a member of White Oak for over 3 years now and do not plan on changing gym. I mainly go to the morning classes and we have very good experienced instructors in Yoga, kettlebell, Pilates, Zumba, circuit. The centre as a whole is very good although needs more cleaners and maintenance . I cannot comment on the cafe because I do not use it but it's always busy. The staff are lovely especially the ladies at the reception, Scarlet and Demi being some of my favourite. If you want value for money, this centre is probably the best around.β

βGreat swimming facilities if caught at the right time of day. Easy access to a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. The price is good if you're willing to pay for three months membership. The only shorter option is a session pass which cost me more than I was happy to spend. Next time I think I'll hit the gym too!β
βGreat evenings out spent over at Hemel Leisure centre supporting Hemel storm. Great to take the kids with weekend match ups against top teams from the NBL! Leisure centre has good facilities but arrive early as gets busy!β
βTop quality equipment in all good nick! Friendly staff, large area for free weights, great machines, huge stretching room and great cardio machines.β
βIncredible venue hidden right in the centre of London. Love the pool, gym and classes. Outdoor pool is the star of the show and all staff I have encountered have been incredible. Gym is nice and clean too!β
βBrockwell lido is so good. The pool is fresh and nice, sometimes the ducks come swimming. The gym is ok, however a lot of the equipment is broken so thatβs why it gets 3 stars.β
ββοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ I highly recommend the swimming classes at Barnet Copthall Leisure Centre. My 4-year-old son has only attended a few sessions, and he has already gone from being scared of the water to swimming a short distance on his back without floats! This amazing progress has happened in just a few weeks, with only one half-hour class per week. His teacher, Adam, is excellent. You can really see that he loves what he does β heβs fantastic at teaching children while also making the lessons fun and enjoyable. Thatβs the best way for kids to learn! I am happy with the experience and grateful for the confidence my son has gained in such a short time. Highly recommended!β
βNice sports centre. The sports hall is in the basement, and the water foundation is in the gym on the 1st floor. Walls of the sports hall are mostly grey, with one side with white bits and windows and a bit hard to see the shuttle. The ceiling is white as well.β
βHad a great time here today. The pools were all well managed by the lifeguards, they were actively checking how busy the pools were, closing them at capacity, making sure children were using the slides correctly etc which was nice to see. The two smaller pools were great for my toddlers and they really enjoyed the slides. We travelled half an hour to get here as we donβt have anything like this near us so it was a nice change. The only improvement for us would be more family changing rooms as they were full when we got there and the small changing rooms were very tricky to change twin toddlers in. They canβt help the size of the building though! Weβd visit againβ
βExcellent food and great restaurant for event. Massive selection of different cousins. And great pizza.β
βStayed last week & just wanted to send a message of thanks to Vanessa & Elena in the restaurant. Both a credit to Hilton. Vanessaβs knowledge on the menu was excellent, she recommended the curry which was delicious. Elena is lovely also & made me feel like nothing was too much, she made me a coffee & finallyβ¦somebody who knows how to heat milk properly without burning it! An excellent stay from start to finish, Francesca on reception was very helpful also. You have a great team & I will return next time Iβm in the area. Kind Regards, Mr Dalton Towers.β
βVery happy with our Sunday morning lessons here. Shout out to their teachers Maree, Harry and Phoebe.β
