“We were served by Scott today and he was very friendly and helpful. My mum managed to get her curtains and cushions from the Thurrock store and we loved having a good look round all the departments. We also had a pot of tea in the cafe which was lovely. There’s so much to browse in store that we need a tea break! Dunelm is one of our favourite shops and we always head there first for beautiful quality housewares.”

“I generally like this store. Good selection of all household products plus the blingey bits for your house..... But service is terrible only two tills working. And o so slow. And when there is no bar code and they put a call out for someone to come it takes ages. And all the time the queue just gets longer. Pehaps it would be better especially when it's busy to open all the tills to keep customers Moveing...”

If there are any issues, you can phone and get straight through to the store and speak to a human (no automated phone bots) who are more than happy to resolve your query quickly and efficiently by sending out new items on the same day! “I visited Tesco Extra at Lakeside today and was genuinely impressed by the customer service team very supportive, friendly, and helpful throughout my visit. The store itself is huge, well-organized, and offers plenty of free parking, which makes shopping stress-free. Even though I’m not local, I always make it a point to stop by this Tesco Extra whenever I’m in Lakeside because it’s so convenient for groceries and everyday essentials. It really feels like a great asset to the local community. One thing I noticed this time was that the selection of children’s school uniforms was quite limited. I hope to see more variety and options in the future. Overall, a fantastic place to shop with peace of mind!”
