Delicious in Manchester

“After being let down by another hotel I turned to Novotel Manchester Centre. I was greeted by the extremely helpful Pasquale at reception. I explained my circumstances and Pasquale couldn't do enough to help and reassure me. On a day that was stressful and grey Pasquale really brought the sunshine back for which im thankful. We opted for a family room that was spacious, clean, modern and well laid out. All the staff work really hard in the hotel and are really helpful. This includes the cleaning and room staff. Special mention to Inga and her team who were so helpful and friendly with requests I had. Food and drink in the hotel were also great. The in house restaurant serves great food whatever the time of day. Again some super helpful and hardworking staff here with a mention to Isaac behind the bar. He was friendly and helpful to me and my children. The Novotel brand has always been a reliable and great brand. Im a firm beleiver that brands and hotels are built on their staff. At Novotel Manchester Centre you really have amazing staff who go the extra mile. They are a credit to the hotel and the Novotel brand. Many thanks and myself & my family will be back again soon.”

“Food was amazing.we didn't have to wait for the table at all as we were immediately taken to one. Hospitality of the staff was good. Overall good ambience and better experience. Plus it wasnt that expensive as compared to other places.”

“Great bar in the heart of the city. Food chooses really great, had the grill of the day - creamy chickpeas with chicken. Mushroom filled scotch egg also great. Espresso martini good. Service great and prices fair. Would visit again.”

“Been to a lot of shops for breakfast lunch and drinks this place is the best place you can go fantastic choice and quality just wish it was closer to my home, if all shops took a leaf out of the owners concept of shops enough said it's a definite place to revisit”

“Love this little Iceland store always seems to be well stocked. But if you're looking for a home delivery for the same day you really do need to get in before 1pm really because most lots get taken up or that's what I've seen to a found. The staff are always happy to help you even though they always seem busy filling the freezers with new stock. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.”

“Good, honest Thai food. We've lived in the area for about five years and this is the best take away by far. I normally order the Tamarind Duck which is always great but I fancied a change. I tried the Larb Moo (minced pork salad) instead and it was exceptional. I always order the honey spare ribs and Thai fish cakes as sides/starters and they never disappoint. Tom Kha Gai is also great.”

“I recently visited Five Guys and had a great experience! The staff was friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. One employee in particular stood out — Mubaik, who works there. “Lovely place, right next to Heaton Park metro. Only had a brew and a cake but it’s spacious, light and airy, with nice, big booths and a sunny back yard (looks like a good set up for DJ’s too) Coffee was good, sweet stuff was from Silver Apples, so pretty familiar and more than decent quality. Staff were super friendly. Will definitely head back and try some proper food and drinks soon”

Cayo was absolutely lovely from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to come across someone who makes you feel so looked after and valued as a customer. Cayo’s positive energy and professionalism really stood out and made the visit so special. The food, as always, was amazing — perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and served piping hot. But it was the outstanding service that made this visit the best Nando’s experience I’ve ever had. “First time today, the food was amazing!!! Loved the option for a two/three course meal at around £23. The Sunday roast was one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was seasoned!! And tasted so good and the portion size was perfect. The cookie desert was so tasty! Again the flavours were amazing. Defo coming back again.”

“I visited The Oxnoble on a Sunday with a friend who had been before for their Sunday roast. She mentioned the concept had changed a bit, but regardless, the Sunday roast was absolutely delicious! Our waiter, Sean, was super friendly and made the experience even better (he recommended the cauliflower chees and OMG soo good). I would definitely recommend The Oxnoble to anyone visiting Manchester for the weekend!”

“I wish I can give more then 5 stars to this place, And that's all only for staff , amazing manager and the host we had all staff members were brilliant. Every gaming and fun place can have ups and downs with maintenance and games but it's they way how they handles it and how quickly they act on it We celebrated our twin boys birthday had lots of fun. Unfortunately I forgot the names of staff members but we were booked today afternoon for birthday party 12:00 pm And our host Hijabi girl she was awesome top notch customer service and hospitality. Best place to have kids and adults birthday party or you can just have get together or fun day out as adults or for kids”

“Stayed at the bury premier in for 1 night. Good location and rooms clean and a very good nights sleep. I are evening meal and breakfast which was absolutely lovely and very high quality. Reception and evening staff polite and helpful and I enjoyed my little chat to the breakfast ladies who again were polite and helpful. Restaurant was clean and food fabulous x thanks for making my stay fantastic.”

“It was lovely and for tourists interested in visiting Old Trafford, this is super close. The bus system is great so we could stay here even though our event was at the University of Manchester. The breakfast was beautiful and fun, and we didn't have to break our banks.”

Whether I needed directions, restaurant suggestions, or help with a small issue in my room, Levon was always available and eager to help. He has a calm, polite manner that instantly puts you at ease. “Wow, wow, wow... What an amazing Gay Bar on Canal Street, Manchester. We all attended this bar for afternoon drinks. The weather was good enough to sit outside, the Halloween decorations were totally amazing. We shall always visit this place when in Manchester and we were lucky enough to meet the guy that did the Halloween decorations, he also does the Christmas ones too.”

A special mention to Rob who went above and beyond for my family, making sure all the food and drinks were ok (I can confirm they were delicious).
