Vibrant atmosphere in Manchester

“So pleased I've discovered the atmosphere bar. Located within the university house this is the university's main SU bar but also well used by Peel Park visitors. The bar is located on the first floor of the building and is easily missed if you don't know it's there. Once inside there are three distinct and different parts of the bar. Firstly the main bar and largest space is like a sports bar with plenty of screens to watch live sporting events. Secondly, there is a games bar with pool tables and retro arcade games and darts. Thirdly there is a mezzanine floor which carries a whole different decor and vibe. Much more intermate and lounge like you can easily find your own space to work or have a private drink. I didn't sample the food but it appeared to be very good value for money. The beer selection was excellent and very well priced. £3.80 for a pint of Guinness and £3.70 for a pint of Madri. The Guinness was excellent too. When I'm next in Peel Park I'll certainly pay a visit to Atmosphere.”

“What a fantastic venue with welcoming and friendly staff. As soon as you walk in it feels like your own local as it’s so welcoming which is rare in a city. Music on Saturday afternoon was really fantastic - I'll defo be back here next time I’m in Manchester”

The dancers are professional, friendly, and respectful, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. “Wow, wow, wow... What an amazing Gay Bar on Canal Street, Manchester. We all attended this bar for afternoon drinks. The weather was good enough to sit outside, the Halloween decorations were totally amazing. We shall always visit this place when in Manchester and we were lucky enough to meet the guy that did the Halloween decorations, he also does the Christmas ones too.”

“Ordered Family table requested to be served once arrived to save time. Brother Ali provided exceptional service and looked after my family. Enjoyed the starters and main course. Highly recommended and yes pre-order and reserve table to avoid delays or waiting. Great people great service.”

“As an international traveler I was pleasantly surprised at the way I was treated with my friends. There was understandable caution from the door team but after a positive interaction with the head door person we were allowed entry, there was quite a few of us . We all go out ID checked and that was humorous. The venue was just what we needed the place and the music was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and we had had an absolute blast! Thank you so much everybody at the Brewers, credit where credit is due!”

“Had a great experience at Nando’s. Ordered the half chicken, coleslaw, and halloumi, and honestly everything was banging — perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavour. Special shoutout to Haris, who was absolutely top-tier. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell he actually cares about customer service, which makes a big difference. Food was spot on, service was excellent, and the vibe was great. Will definitely be coming back.”

“wonderful stay. Room was modern, comfortable, and more amenities than you might necessarily expect do the price. Didn’t even spend that much time in the hotel but it had a decent bar, breakfast and pool table downstairs. Excellent location right next to the station and trendy locations in Manchester. Plan on staying in this hotel every time I visit if I can”

“We stayed here for the Christmas Markets and the Pete Tong event at the AO Arena. Staff were excellent, the room was great. The bar is open until 5am, and you can order food until then also. The location is great too.”

“Went here with my daughter who had booked us an afternoon tea. Great value and really enjoyed it. A cocktail was included in the price also and our visit coincided with perfect timing for 2 for 1 cocktails. Good location as right near to Deansgate train station. Waitress/bar staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive.”

“Extraordinary Bar to bring in for a 16 ounces and a Game of pool or Table Football. Fantastic bar staff who rushed to serve. Likewise a decent spot to watch sport with the big screen. Splendid worth during that time 12.00pm-7.00pm £2.50 a 16 ounces on chose lagers I had carling which was right on the money. In general I would suggest a visit.”

“Excellent Latin music classes and parties! The food was amazing as well! Dj Vlad runs his dance events here and he is a well established in Latin Music community. Loved a recent Life Performance of Justino Romero there! Must attend place on Friday night!”

“The wait is a little long to get served the food (approx 40 minutes) however, this is worth every second. Food is very flavoursome, hearty and big portions for what you pay. Everything is well made, seasoned and fresh. The baller’s combo was £25 at the time of this review and is almost big enough for 2 people.”

The service was also great especially from Claire as she helped and recommended me a few products that would be perfect for Christmas presents!
