“We have been to quite a few gigs at Castlefield Bowl and the food from Grandads Sausages is great. If we see them at a gig, then we know we're getting decent food! Proper sausages, good quality buns and tasty chips. Absolutely the best food you can get here, or at any gig they get to!”

“Not being a plumber I used this company a few times having plumbing issues at home and the man sat at the till was so so helpful. I went in there 2 or 3 times. I thoroughly recommend this company. So honest and helpful. I would 100% recommend. It takes nothing to show help and a pleasant personality which all the staff did. Dont waste your time going to B and Q where no one is there to help. I stumbled across this company and glad I did.”

“It's always a great place to go. I take my son regularly. There is a little 2p arcade, some nice restaurants, and places to get a brew and ice creams etc. It does get really busy if its hot but it's a perfect place all year round”

“A quiet little place to chill and relax. Just over the canal from Canal Street. It's the home of the Tree of Life and the Beacon of Hope memorials dedicated to those who have lost to their lives to AIDS. It's also the home of the Alan Turing memorial. This is a lovely place to visit during the day but, as I've been told, it can be a little bit different at night as there is very little lighting.”

“Lovely place. Very clean especially for a public park. 2 nice fishing lakes which are gin clear. The cafe is very reasonable for a coffee (£1.60) for a proper coffee) bacon butties cooked fresh and lovely, helpful staff and regulars. I'm actually a bit reticent about giving it a good review as it's so good I want to keep it to myself. Current fishing prices: Day ticket £5 for 2 rods £8 for three available from the cafe or the bailiff. Membership is also an option at a very reasonable rate. Enquire at the cafe for details.”

“We took 50 children from our holiday club ice skating here and the staff were exceptionally friendly and got us all in time for our session, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the experience!”

“This is one of the best pubs I’ve been to in years. The food was amazing (I had the chicken kebab on a tortilla wrap with salad and shared salt and pepper topped fries). “A really spiritual experience to visit in all weathers dont give up on the journey up the mountain once you reach the trig point keep wandering you wont be disappointed theres also a cheeky infinity pool if your feeling brave take a towel and embrace the cold water therapy.”

“BEST SMASH BURGERS!! Their smash burgers are out of the world, the best ever. Prices are decent. They dont take card tho which is a shame but their food compensates for it. Highly recommended”
