“It was a special family lunch in the NEW restaurant, as we stepped into the welcoming atmosphere where Bronagh greeted us warmly... I made sure to catch Alex before leaving to express our gratitude for the unforgettable lunch experience. Throughout the meal, we were treated to a delightful culinary journey, punctuated by moments of pure enjoyment with each dish. From the delicate fish cake to the succulent lamb main, every bite was a revelation. And that Brownie? A sweet finale to a perfect midday meal. The impeccable service only enhanced our dining experience, leaving us already planning our next visit. We've even booked a table for the whole family in the next few weeks, eager to share this culinary gem with them. It was truly a pleasure to chat with Alex and thank him for such a memorable dining experience.”

“Fantastic service. Was able to bring my service dog in without question. Was quiet and service was on point. My Steak was cooked perfectly and didn’t feel rushed. Gluten free and vegetarian selection was top notch and, according to my wife and daughter, was very tasty. Would recommend”

“Best sandwich I've had in a long time. Bread was nice and fresh with filling right up to the crust. Soup was a lovely homemade creamy chicken & veg and a HUGE bowl. Couldn't believe how cheap it was for the quality given and the easy access location. Loved it! Look forward to my next visit and more friendly banter with the staff”

“If you're in close proximity, I'd definitely suggest stopping here. The river next to the restaurant enhances the atmosphere. I also like the contrast between the brick and rusty looking iron that really brings that steampunky vibe. The only problem I have is that the music doesn't fit the theme too well, but that's not too bad . The waiters are kind and the service is great! And then to the most important part:"the food" I really enjoyed the dishes here. I took the Korean fried chicken burger, which was absolutely amazing, but the taste can be a bit overwhelming (in a good way), so if you're a bit sensitive to flavour, I'd suggest to take the gnocchi wich was also extremely good. And the cajun chicken salade was also really, really good. So all in all this place is amazing and I truly recommend it!!”

“Excellent food and excellent service. We had the large portion of brisket (absolutely delicious and our favorite), the small portion of ribs (good but not great (I thought the sauce was just okay. Though in all fairness my friend liked these second best.), the small portion of duck (delicious. My second favorite) , and the sweet potato fries. We finished off the meal with a Sticky Toffee Pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream (WOW !!!). The server said they recommend two small items per person. We had one large, two small and a side. It was actually too much. I would recommend three smalls or one large and one small for two people. I would highly recommend eating at Art Bar Funkel.”

My husband is a plain eater so he is a sliced chicken supper man but he wouldn't rate one anywere else which we have had to resort to when they were closed. My fave dish is honey chilli chicken. Homely but very professional. A pleasant surprise for me as I don't live that far away. The owners should be very proud of that haven....”

“This is right now the best place for a takeaway in Warrenpoint It is really good value the food is superb and they have things other places don't think of it bother to make. Like pepper sauce and garlic bread smoothies. And their fries are delicious! Yes I said it! French Fries! If you don't believe me about value for money I challenge you go in and see for yourself!”
