“My chocolate Labrador went for his first groom at Furchester dog services today and WOW, he smells absolutely gorgeous, his coat is so shiny and he feels incredibly soft! This was his first groom and I was so happy with how relaxed and calm he was. He clearly loved the attention and was given all the cuddles and kisses! Brilliant job and he will definitely be back again!”

“Our dog Bernard stayed two nights at Hunters Lodge and we could not have asked for a better experience. Bernard is a rescue so we were quite nervous about leaving him however any anxiety we had was quickly put at ease thanks to the staff at Hunters Lodge who kept us updated. Bernard stayed in the VIP kennel where he was able to have his own home comforts (plus a TV!). We would highly recommend Hunters Lodge to anyone and would not hesitate in booking him in again.”

“Took our puppy there for her first proper groom. Really lovely little place and pup came out happy and clean and looking/smelling great. Customer service was great too. Loved the edited pic after too. Would highly recommend. Also really appreciated they were happy to keep in touch beforehand as they were fully booked when I originally enquired but they kept me in the loop for any cancellations etc too which was really nice touch!”

“Very friendly and professional. Our dog has passed his Kennel club bronze Good Citizen award and we are working to get the silver but we do lots of other activities, agility, fun and games in between working for the obedience training. He loves going and it's great for socialising, making doggy and human friends. They also do alot for 'Canine partners' and training their dogs for this important future role.”

“Highly recommend this groomer. They are super professional, experienced and were very knowledgeable of my dogs coat. My dog is a 1 year sheepadoodle and not the easiest coat to deal with. They listened to my needs and when i went to collect, the dog looked, smelled and felt amazing and was exactly how i wanted her to look. With two terriers, a fluffy girl who likes anything disgusting to roll in and a rescue girl who is highly reactive to anything that makes her uncomfortable, they are definitely a challenge. Jennifer has the patients and has taken the time to work with both of them with two very different needs she has put them both at ease and now as soon at they get out of the car I am pulled into the salon as they can't wait to see her. Every visit they are pampered, come out looking amazing and smelling great.”
