βMy dad recently had to spend a a few days in hospital due to battery's exploding and all the staff involved in his care were amazing and looked after him so well. Always making sure he was comfortable, out of pain and if he needed anything. When my sisters and I visited they even got us a chair to make us comfortable while we were visiting. Can't thank them enough for taking such good care of our dad. Thank you. Amazing care from when he arrived to when he left.β

214 Priory Medical Practice
βIβve been registered here for years but have not needed to use the service until this year. I had been feeling worse and worse over several months and finally contacted the surgery online as it wasnβt an urgent issue. A couple of days later I received a response from Dr Kirkbride-Jamu to confirm I should have some blood tests which I was able to book in quickly. It took a few weeks to have a follow up appointment for results but as it was an issue that had built up slowly the delay wasnβt a worry so I didnβt push. Shortly before the appointment I called the surgery and asked for access to my records on the NHS app. The phone was answered quickly and the receptionist sorted it out in a couple of minutes. Within a few hours I could see the results. My immediate issue (anaemia) was discussed in the follow up with Dr Field and my prescription was sent straight to my local pharmacy. Another issue was my cholesterol which was worryingly high. Due to my age, I donβt technically meet the criteria for statins or a referral. Dr Field listened to my concerns around my family history (very early heart attacks) and said she would see what she could do. A few weeks later I had a referral to a specialist. Iβm very grateful for the friendly and compassionate service from the staff at the clinic. Iβve seen so many horror stories about services in the NHS that I was worried about being fobbed off but everyone I have spoken to has listened to me and helped.β

βI have been with this doctors all my life (37 years) Today I had to go there and Dr Akeems service was outstanding!!! He made sure he done what was required. Explained everything in detail to me. I never leave that place satisfied but after having the appointment with Dr Akeem I feel like I dont need to go a research what his said. I can take his word for it as his made me feel at ease. βWhen my son was unwell I was able to arrange an appointment the same day. Following a thorough appointment with a paramedic, he was prescribed antibiotics; the health centre also arranged an additional prescription as the throat swab results confirmed strep A/scarlet fever. Very pleased with the care received.β

βI had my implant removed by a lovely woman called Gladys and she was absolutely amazing! From the initial phone consultation right up to me leaving the clinic she was tremendously warm and friendly and made me feel super comfortable despite being extremely frightened and anxious! the removal was quick and painless and I was kept well informed the entire time of what was going on. There was another gentlemen present and helping who, unfortunately I did not get the name of, but he was also extremely cheerful and compassionate and had a great attitude! I am really thankful to them both for making it such a comfortable and stress free experience:)β

βI have only had good experiences. Even ringing later than 8 am, around 10 am, admittedly not Monday, and I was able to get an appointment. My husband has had great service too, with a spinal surgery and he was able to chose his hospital from a list so he choose where it could be done soonest. The staff and facilities are great and serve the community well.β

βWells pharmacy is a 'Pharmacy First' just down the road. The pharmacist was very busy so it took a couple of call ins (rather than wait) to see him. Very worth while visit, professional and friendly.β

220 Birchwood Surgery
βI am fairly new to this surgery but from the moment I registered beginning of December to now I have had nothing but great experiences. Registration I needed my B12 very quickly and they booked me in before my details was even registered to ensure I got it on time, then they had me set up fast so I could get my repeat medication without any delay over christmas which I was so worried about! I got very ill and needed an on the day appointment and didn't call until just gone 2pm and managed to get one with the lovely nurse Julie/Julia who was incredible with me, told me off for not going a&e like she should, spent a long time doing a thorough examination then found out what was wrong with me and prescribing me medication to help and told me to never ignore signs and call ambulance next time, she really was amazing and hope to see her again if I ever need a nurse. She made me laugh so much during a scary time!! Hope she gets a lot of recognition you can tell she is very passionate about her role as a nurse and cares so much about her patients. Then the receptionists, have always been so kind and helpful towards me and always resolve any issues I have had. Really like this surgery and love the people working there, all so friendly and helpful xβ

βI have been a member of this surgery for 12 years. I can not speak highly enough over how brilliant this doctors surgery has been. All of the staff here are incredible ive had so many possitive experiences over the years, never had a problem with seeing a doctor one time i was worried over my baby, the receptionist gave me suggestions and said if doesnt work ring back, it worked so i didnt need to but she made the effort to ring me back as she knew how distressed i was. My latest experience with a lovely lady shared her own experience with me when i was discussing concerns which is so reasuring she was just so easy to talk to and i felt great after our 20 min chat! just such a lovely place really appreciate them!β

βExcellent service over the last 10 plus years and the new ways of working is proving to make it easier to get appointments and manage things better. Very good Doctors and good appointment management by the staff. Also there is always space to sit and being able to use the touch screen to inform the GP that you have arrived etc., has made it much easier to get on with your appointment.β

βNot sure if the lovely doctor will get to see this as Iβm unsure how to leave feedback. I went with my daughter on Friday 21st November at 11am due to her genuinely just feeling unwell. The doctor we saw was middle aged and blonde. She done her obs and was concerned for my daughter and even allowed us to take her water. Told us to go to a&e. My daughter ended up staying from Friday to Sunday night due to influenza a. I just wanted to feedback positively because usually itβs only negative we see and my daughter was unwell last year and it took multiple trips to be given an answer but in this case the doctor took my concerns seriously which possibly prevented a more serious situation so THANK YOU.β
