“Went along to the New Inn for a meal with the family and have to say the food and service was absolutely spot on. I had the best cooked steak I have had in a long while. The rib eye was tender and i asked for medium rare and it was exactly right which is often not the case with pub food. All the food was superb. Would definitely recommend .”

“Chose to ignore the bad reviews and go try for ourselves. Soo glad we did. Great holiday. First holiday as just a couple with our 18 month old. Very quick straightforward check-in. Caravan very clean on arrival, smelled fresh. Nice and warm, heating system easy to use. Beds comfortable. Enjoyed the use of the pool. Good free activities on with their tots week for my 18 month old. Soo convenient being able to park outside your caravan. Nice food and drinks at the boathouse restaurant, reasonably priced and free food for kids during the tots break with good options available for them. Shirley-Ann in particular was really helpful and approachable at the bar, but we didn't have any bad interactions, everyone would give you a smile as you went by. Didn't get to see the evening entertainment at the show bar, but there was something on every night. Easy checkout process. First holiday with parkdean and will 100% be coming back.”

“The building is showing some signs of needing conservation but it is a pleasing environment in the bar/restaurant. The bedrooms are well laid out with modern decoration with impressive en-suites. The food is very good with a varied menu and good wine list.”

“What a beautiful charming house in the Norfolk countryside. We loved it so much it took us forever to get out the door in the mornings. The kitchen is incredible. 3 sinks, 2 dishwashers, huge fridge, 2 ovens. A real entertaining kitchen. The bedrooms and bathroom were just as excellent.”

“Lovely lady that treated my dog as though it was her own. I was very nervous about leaving my dog with Claire for a week as I had never done this before. However Ickle had a great time and I have booked again for my next trip. Highly recommend for that extra special service.”

“A small b&b. Nice hosts. Rooms are good size. Plenty of offroad parking.. breakfast ok. Do not do a full English but requests are taken for cooked food. We had scrambled egg, sausage and bacon. Food sufficient. Fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and pastries also. A good position to tour Norfolk and Suffolk. 9 miles from Yarmouth. Will come again.”

“A fabulous gem of a B&B, perfect for access to Norwich and the surrounding area and coastline. We only needed one night, with very local access to Southwood Hall, ready for a wedding. Pauline and her husband are wonderful hosts, fully attentive to every need and the rooms were perfect for us. Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms, including USB plugs and Wi-Fi. Beautiful gardens and surroundings and we were made to feel like nothing was too much trouble. The Breakfast list was out of this world and absolutely a perfect set up for the day ahead. I would highly recommend a visit to this cottage and surrounding area.”

The hamper was very substantial and half way through the stay, Suzanne turned up with more breakfast things. The surroundings are beautiful. Lots of places to visit. “We booked for the Sunday Carvery at 1:30. Obviously oversubscribed and didn't get sat until 2:00 HOWEVER, the team that were working smashed it. I doubt if Luke was over 23 and the four girls (that I saw) working with him not even that (My apologies to all concerned if I have got that wrong). The team just 'had it', professional, calming, caring and efficient. Their customer service was first class and the food was great so well done to the kitchen team too.”

“The owner is interesting welcoming and professional. The breakfast is great, I’ve been three times and loved each visit. I would recommend this place as its authentic comfortable and exactly what it should be staying in an original old vicarage. Don’t go if you want a huge tv in your room and perfectly square modern walls and doors go because it’s a stunning old building with charm, warmth & character but most importantly a great host that invites you into his lovely home.”
