“We visited here last evening for the first time to celebrate my birthday. It most certainly does not deserve the bad reviews it has. The food was piping hor and absolutely delicious... plenty of meat in each of the dishes and just the right amount of spice in each of the different dishes. Service was extremely pleasant and welcoming. We were the only ones eating in, but plenty of takeaways going out. Would highly recommend.”

“I went in after a long shift at pogue mahons. My food came quickly, they got everything to a T. I ordered 2 meals and for what I paid the amount of food you get is 100% worth it. Plenty of lettuce and cucumber. Loads of sauce too which I love. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Their chicken is also to die for”

“Stay here if you love old places. The building dates from the 1st Elizabeth's reign and has all the wonky floors and crooked beams you could desire. Run by lovely people who are very helpful. Great breakfast properly cooked. Lots of coffee. One star had to be lost for the dated decoration in the rooms but the place is super clean and the beds very comfortable. We had a huge room for 4 with bathroom (again old but they will get to it. If you stay here it will help them sustain this glorious building!) and views of the quirky main street of Harleston. I had never heard of the town before I went, but I would love to go back. Sadly the towns we visited in Norfolk were spoiled by anti social behaviour from the useless few. But I'm sure the local people dislike that as much as you do. PS sorry we were noisy on Saturday but what with Liverpool winning the cup and France giving the UK douze points I couldn't hold it in....”

Portion sizes are generous and extremely good value for money. The owner and all the staff are always very welcoming. This restaurant should definitely be on everyone's radar.”

“Had a delivery a few months ago. Swiftly delivered with a smile. Good old reliable Domino's consistent standards. I also had a cheesey garlic bread which was delicious and I highly recommend. Shop has ample free parking if you want to collect, but the car park has no lines so people don't park properly.”

“I visit this restaurant every year with my family and extended family. The food is great and café style so arrives quickly, which is handy for young children. They're able to accommodate our large party every time (sometimes up to 20 people) and provide high chairs. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is clean and well laid out, very easy to get a pram in and out.”

“Amazing staff!! Coffee that I just purchased spilled all in my car. When I went in for help, the staff made me another drink for free, gave me cleaning supplies and brought my replacement drink out for me. Can’t thank them enough!! ”

“We drove Into the McDonald’s car park at 7 o’clock in the evening the sky was a blood red orange, The ambience was quaint. Upon entering the establishment of McDonald’s I was greeted by rather friendly man his name- Let’s call him Rob. And if I had to sum them up- not all heroes wear capes, but this one certainly deserved it. We proceeded to order three Big Macs, three Cokes, 9 McNuggets we got from Monopoly and a McChicken share box…decadent, delicious, dreamy the triple D is my signature of approval that I give to any fine dining experience we were certainly full up, especially when we got round eating the last nugget. One pet peeve was the drive through, sometimes things just go awry and that is the way of the world, this brings me back to Rob a man who seems resilient, he seems versatile and can adjust any situation or circumstances accordingly and work through them not only efficiently but with charisma and a smile on his face. 8.3 out of 10.”

“I love locally and always enjoy coming here, especially for family get togethers. We had the Festive menu tonight which was very reasonably priced and delicious. I had the camembert, which was a fraction overcooked but still delicious. A few people had chicken tenders which looked amazing (see my Sister in law's picture attached). Steak was cooked perfectly, and cheesecake was lovely too. The staff here are always very friendly and attentive. Thank you for a perfect evening. I look forward to coming back soon.”

“We visited yesterday 09-08-25 for lunch after turning up to surprise the grandchildren who were holidaying at the Haven Caravan site down the road . A nice relaxed atmosphere where we were soon found a table for 8 and our waitress Hazel looked after us brilliantly, the restaurant is clean and tidy as well are the toilets, we had a mixture of foods all of which were very good indeed. I had the 10oz Ribeye tasty and cooked to perfection. For afters Hazel recommended the black forest gateau and she wasn't wrong a beautiful slice of heaven on a plate. I would like to thank Hazel so much for making us feel welcomed and looking after us all so well.”
