βreally welcoming staff who made our experience special, even when there was a quiet restaurant by bringing out beautiful pizzas (whoever made that posh margherita at 2pm- that was the most delicious pizza I have ever eaten and you deserve a raise- from a fellow chef, talent!) amazing food and super super clean everywhere, theres a serve yourself cutlery bar which is lovely so you donβt have to awkwardly ask for more cutlery, and takeaway boxes available to take away some of your buffet. Truly a lovely, hardworking team of staff who provide the best in small places! Thank you so much for making my birthday special and make me feel cared for by my childhood restaurant, definitely go here for a bite!!!! Also super super affordable (:β

βExcellent meal. Far better than our local Chinese which we thought was good until we tried Golden City at Horning. The chicken was tender white and delicious. Not a slimey consistency like some takeaways. The curry and the sweet and sour sauces were also good and tasty. We highly recommend them definitely use them in future.β

βRecommendation from my best friend who loves his food as I do. Chinese is my favourite food. It was a treat. I have tried over my lifetime, chinese takeaways in Norwich, and when i used to be away with work- ΔΊmany in Norwich and nationally, and its not about quantity, its quality for me. Its taste, freshness and flavour I had my favourite dishes a few weeks ago and have been back once more for chinese curry, as the first visit was that good. I always pick up food, personal choice as its not been in bag transported by car or bike. For me, in own opinion, this is best chinese in norwich based on quality of food etc. My best friend recommended new golden house to me, and he gets all takeaways every weekend. I have recommended this chinese to some people I know who have takeaways. One said to me she already gets chinese from New Golden zhouse, and is best in Norwich for her too. Outside of norwich, she said Hethersett is equally good.β

βWhat a gem of a restaurant tucked away in Thorpe St Andrews! Easy parking and from the moment you enter Ms Didi and her team make you feel welcome. She gave personalised recommendations and the food was cooked well with a personalised spice level. From golden , flaky mutton pastries to incredible fried rice with succulent beef curry and light, sweet fried plantain it was a delight from start to finish. Highly recommend eating in for the full vibe !β
