“Lots of wildlife and plenty of space for kicking a ball about or exercising the dogs. Play equipment is very popular with little ones. Lucky to have this park on my doorstep!”
“Room was great, we took our own. Service fantastic, we looked after ourselves, after a friendly welcome from the site staff. The location is great for walking, especially into the City of Norwich.”
“Accommodation was perfect condition and size for 4 adults and a child, dog friendly all around the park, indoor and out, and Accommodate all housing equipment that you wouldn't normally expect. Staff are friendly, but we're times we had to wait to be served, or desks were empty. The youngest (4) did the paddle boats, but was the only booking at that time, so was provided extra toys to play and just swim and do things at her own pace. The lifeguard (Alex) was absolutely lovely and engaged with and helped when needed Highly recommend!!!”
“Nice fun park the prices are not that over price and not too busy in the day but at night when they have the fireworks in Hemsby this place gets rammed to hell as it is so busy”
“Loved Morning Milkshake - Great free family entertainment with super enthusiastic entertainers! My children particularly enjoyed Dylan as he shares my son’s name and the novelty of a male entertainer! As big Paw Patrol fans they loved making Skye masks this morning and then added to them when we got back to the caravan. Thank you! FYI They also love winning competitions. We can’t wait to see more of you guys this week - Louis 5, Dylan 3 and Mae 1 and Mummy and Daddy.”
“Very pretty place to live Loads of parking And good atmosphere”
“The Water Fun Factory was great. You definitely get wet. We wore waterproof capes and had towels on. Come prepared with spare socks or you'll have wet feet all day.”
“Water tower Cannot get to the bottom of the tower restriction on the road”
“Tatty vandalised play equipment, litter everywhere, oiks smashing up the shelters and drug dealing. What a place, must see part of the town.. No where else can you collect as much dig mess on your shoes!”
“A very budget friendly caravan park. Play areas for children and go carting made their day. It was bit tricky to find where to check in, you need to head to Yare village to check it.”
“Great theme park. Some nice rollercoasters, but plenty for younger kids. There was a birds of paradise show and a sea lion and seal display. Food was pretty good and plenty of toilets dotted around. Plenty of parking too.”
“Just had an absolutely amazing weekend for my sister's and brother in laws wedding. The staff are amazing , the venue is beautiful, the food delicious. Can't fault them on anything. I would recommend this for a wedding venue for any future brides and grooms to be. Huge shout out to Becky one of our lovely bar attendees, and to the waiting staff.”
“Consistently brilliant pizza delivered in a timely manner and polite delivery staff! The half and half pizza is a game changer. Cookies are to die for and garlic bread is great but the sides are considerably expensive considering the price of pizza in comparison. I’d personally give the wedges a miss.”
“Puppy paddocks ticks all the boxes: large field, a toilet for the humans, always clean & lots of sensory opportunities! Only downside is the small car park only just big enough for 2 medium cars so it’s not a great option for going with friends/family. Other than that it’s great!”
“We had the most wonderful stay from start to finish at Moat Island. Georgia and Chris’ communication right from booking, to leaving, was outstanding. They met us upon arrival, and was always responsive and helpful. The hut was so special. It was so well equipped, and finished beautifully. You are surrounded my woodland, walks and river. The beaches only a 25+ minute drive. The communal toilet and shower blocks were always kept clean. The swimming pond was an amazing added bonus! We enjoyed our hot tub and wood burner in the evening after having a swim and some dinner. Thank you so much for having us, we can’t wait to return and tell our friends all about this hidden gem! Priya & Friends”
“Such a lovely place, the weather was beautiful today which of course makes everything look better but the birds, the walk, the boats all looked splendid. Age is not a barrier, bring the family, enjoy the woodland and quiet beauty..”
“We've been coming to Norfolk for 15 years and only have just been given a recommendation to come here. But I'm so glad we have. What beautiful gardens, built up over 50 years with obvious love and in-depth knowledge of horticulture from the owners. There is so much to see. Just when you think you've seen everything, you find another nook or cranny bursting with colour and fragrance. There are lots of seated areas, either to sit and rest or just take in the breathtaking surroundings. The entrance and exit are adjacent to the tea room, so the choice is there is to either fuel up before your walk round or relax afterwards. We shared a pot of tea with the apple crumble cake, which has to go down as one of the best cakes I've had at any tea room. It is very reasonably priced and a must for any keen gardeners visiting the area. You can even purchase plants from their shop before you leave.”
“1st class place,river,long walks,wooded area,marvellous gardens and houe,tea wagon,info centre,knowledgable staff,wonderful wildlife,especially birdlife.”
“A gem of a reserve, lots of nice trails and boardwalks, good for spotting curious dragonflies abd butterflies, Marsh Harriers seen regularly. There is also a toilet at the entrance.”
“Absolutely amazing experience. Our dog has always been scared of water but 5 minutes into the session, she was swimming! Excellent support for her to swim with no force used, just encouragement. We'll definitely be going again. Thank you!”
“Went to Broadlands as a day visitor with my husband and 2 friends, from the beginning Tom welcomed us and all the other people were very friendly. Beautiful wood walk, swimming pool and grounds. We will be back again from Nederlands, thanks everyone who made are stay very enjoyable. Debbie en Maurice”
“Great place to take the little ones. You'll need a full day to take it all in but you won't regret it! Tons to see & do plus the kids get the chance to learn more about wildlife and conservation.”
“Simply wonderful! Whether you’re exploring by boat or enjoying a hike, the Broads National Park is breath-taking. The scenery is peaceful yet full of life, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. If you haven’t been, then I'd highly recommend you visit; because it’s an unforgettable experience.”
“Beautiful, donation-based garden. Great to lay out on the grass and enjoy a small snack. A hidden little gem! Great for the family!”
“I love this sort of a park. Those twists water ways and the sundial. A lot of seating space too. It goes a lot north, like it's big. At the top is some boating and a bit even more top! is a pond with ducks and decorative cows. It just got well renovated in the past few years. It's free to enter and enjoy it's beauty.”
“We stopped off on the way back from The Broads. Spent about an hour walking round the trail. Didn't manage to see much but there was lots of twitchers when we arrived, hoping to see a rare bird of prey. The volunteer in the shop was great , super helpful. Nice to spend time there even though it was a brief stop.”
“Stepping into St John’s Cathedral feels like walking into peace itself. The tall arches, soft light through the stained glass, and gentle silence make you pause and breathe. It’s a place that calms the heart and lifts the soul. Whether you come to pray, reflect, or just sit quietly, it welcomes you with warmth and beauty. A truly special place in Norwich — serene, sacred, and unforgettable.”
“Went as a family while visiting Great Yarmouth. Booked tickets online. Visited on a Tuesday so did have issues with parking or getting in. Got to see the porcupine feeding as well as the leopard feeding. The map was very useful to make sure we didn't miss anything. The only thing not available to see was the tiger who's fairly new and still shy. The red pandas were also a little hard to spot in the trees but everything else we got to see. We spent about 3 hours there without rushing. We didn't have any cafe food so I can't comment. It was a lovely family day out and would highly recommend a visit.”
“A wonderful activity centre and a fabulous experience for the younger generation awaits. The activity staff are quietly professional, friendly and engaging for the younger audience, and help to create fun memorable experiences. The main building is modern and clean with excellent resources. Large well designed areas for either meal or seated activities and a large high ceiling function or activity room with a large wall screen. The kitchen and catering facilities are first class. Highly recommended for single day or stay over events.”
