“First time here (Thurs 10/4/25), but it certainly won't be the last !! What a great little independently run italian restaurant. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. It smells amazing just walking in. Mario looked after us mostly, with the help of a young lady later on. Food is top notch, we had steaks for main course, 1 sirloin & 1 fillet. Cooked perfectly & with a great sauce too. Starters were gorgeous & good sized portions (garlic mushrooms & paté), and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert is just amazing....the tiramisu is also very good. Just writing this review makes me want to go back again - right now !! Thanks Luigi's, we'll be back !!”
“Without doubt one of the best restaurants in town, the ramen is always superb. Full of flavours and textures, it’s cozy and a very good place to have a confort food. The radish cake is surprisingly good. Better if you book a reservation before visiting”
“Fabulous food at Pistachio, my favourite place to eat in Nottingham. Would recommend the halloumi and the dips! Great atmosphere and friendly staff.”
“Delicious kebabs (both meat and vegetarian) with a good quantity of hot roasted vegetables, fresh salad and tasty pita. The lady serving us was very friendly, and it was an excellent meal for the price.”
“A delightful visit to Cleaver & Wake. Enjoyed the Christmas lunch which was excellent, everything being beautifully presented and very tasty. The waitress was very efficient and friendly. Very classy restaurant, will be returning.”
“Wonderful food and staff. We have been coming to this restaurant for a while now and have always had a brilliant experience. The staff and extremely attentive and friendly, with great knowledge of the menu. The food is delicious and there is always something for everyone to enjoy!”
“My partner and I went for the Tuesday Night Banquet. There was a varied choice of dishes as well as upgrades available. I’d highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Puri starter. All the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service really was impressive. We had the pleasure of dealing with 4 different members of the team who all great, very courteous, knowledgable and also quite funny. This wasn’t our first time at The Three Spices, each time it is just as fabulous. We will definitely be back. Thank you all.”
“Absolutely fantastic!!! I couldn't recommend this place enough. So cute and quaint. You can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Everything is curated to provide an 'authentic' Italian dining experience. Staff were fantastic, food was out of this world, couldn't have asked for a better meal.”
“Honestlyyy Ohannes Burger in Beeston is spot on The burgers are proper tasty and cooked just right Staff are really friendly and the place has a nice vibee Easily one of my favourite spots for a burger around heree”
“Just had a delicious meal delivered. Super delivery, slightly less time than advised over the phone. We had a strong recommendation from friends who frequent mount ghurka at Christmas times. We rarely gpt for a takeaway, but didn't fancy cooking today. The starters and mains were nicely packaged, poppadoms were delivered in one piece and not broken and all looked nicely cooked and fresh. The pickle tray was a good selection and popadoms lovely and light, wish I'd ordered a couple more. I opted for an authentic lamb as I prefer flavours recommended by the chef and my husband chose rogan josh - both very tasty. Bhajis were light and not thick congealed balls but tender and tasty with just the right amount of crisp.Tender meats and ample quantity that we've had to freeze half of each portion, not through stodge but just happily full from a lovely meal. We in turn will pass the recommendation on as a super dine.”
“Food was absolutely delicious, waiting times were low and staff very friendly. We were just passing but were very happy with the meal from start to finish. £70 for two people, curry, rice, naan and a drink each; Didn’t think was bad for quality :)”
“I used to dine in here a few years ago and had my first takeaway this week. WOW, I wish I had come back sooner. The ribs are to die for. Everything I had was delicious and full of flavour (Crispy Chili beef, Salt and Pepper Chicken) and at a very decent price too. I will be back more often now. This place is my new favourite!”
“This is such a great place! The drinks are top-notch, the food is well-priced and exactly what you want on a cosy, fun evening out. The atmosphere is always lively and welcoming, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Best spot in Beeston!”

“Held a 70th birthday afternoon tea here, the staff went above and beyond, were ever so naturally attentive and couldn't have done more for our party. We all throughly enjoyed the fresh sandwiches, delicious cakes and unlimited tea and coffee. The bring your own Prosecco is a great addition for a celebration. Thank you! Love the Shimmys x”
“An absolute must if you are passing through the station like I was! Very friendly and attentive staff members with delicious food and drinks. What more could you ask for!”
“We come here with my non-veg friend every March when she is vegan for a month for Her beliefs and we always leave happy and satisfied. The foos is absolutely gorgeous and so tasty. The prices are a bit too much I guess it is what you get for everything fresh and prepared in the kitchen in front of you. Despite the service being a bit slow, the ambiance and the staff being so nice make up for it!”
“Just had a beautiful Sunday roast here, all home cooked.. Nice atmosphere too.. A real traditional pub as they used to be, highly recommend it.”
“Visited for the Sunday buffet which was out of this world. Very tasty, hot and fresh. Chicken 65 so tasty! Best chutneys I have had with popadoms. Lamb Rogan Josh, chefs chicken curry and chicken tikka masala all delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive. A fabulous restaurant and highly recommend.”
“Excellent dinner for 2. Chose the set menu and it was good value for money. Too much food. Service and atmosphere very good. Would recommend and would come again.”
“Top notch family owned and run Italian restaurant in a beautiful and historic building. The food was outstanding.”
“The place looks like a normal “Cafe” in Portugal, they have normal used portuguese products. We order the francesinha, which was amazing! Awesome cozy space and family kind of portuguese food.”
“Love Shack....awesome joint, beware the locals though....:-)”
“Can't fault the food or service. The pricing is significantly lower than some of the other venues in the surrounding villages. £23 for a Cheddar Ploughman's platter, Chilli & Rice, and two teas. I feel this would be pushing £30 elsewhere. It's all good.”
“Really nice friendly and cosy pub serving great ales and food at very reasonable prices. Added extra is they have a small camp site.”
“Had a great visit last week! My wife and I drove an hour from Doncaster, and it was well worth the trip. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was really welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon.”
“Just popped in for a sausage sandwich on the way to work "lovely" proper "sanger" lovely clean and bright cafe lots to choose from nice friendly staff...”
“Food was amazing. Great value for money lots to choice from portion size great. Best takeaway in a long time”
“The Top House in Bulwell is a local community public House. It is welcoming and the building is set back from a quiet road. There is ample parking and a large outside space which is well designed and consists of a couple of attractive terraced areas, one under cover. It is not a 'food pub' but harks back to the days when pubs were pubs. Cobs, which used to be available in every pub during the 50s, 60s and 70s, are available and the atmosphere is relaxed and convivial. The beer prices are extremely reasonable, and the staff are polite and efficient. In short, if you're in Bulwell, I recommend paying this hostelry a visit. You won't be disappointed”
