“Friendly owner greeted us on arrival. Rooms are fairly basic but clean. Small en-suite bathroom with decent shower. Just as you would want or expect at this reasonable price. Good value for money, in my opinion. Nice fry up served bang on time for breakfast!”
“An overnight stay booked at short notice. From the moment we arrived the staff were so helpful, the room was spotless with great views over the parkland grounds. Booked a meal in the restaurant where we were looked after by Caitlin, who again epitomised the fantastic service offered by the hotel”
“Amazing value for the room we had, especially when the price of a Premier in the centre of Nottingham was more! Stately sized room, decent little bar. Chef went a little overboard with the butter on the sandwiches we had. 45minute walk from Motorpoint, which was perfect, but hidden down a dark road.”
“Good hotel stay, clean room no staff on site though.”
“Thank you to Daniella and the team at East Midlands, we were going to Loughborough for the English YTP and looked at lots of local hotels, but the service, rooms and breakfast couldn't have been better anywhere else. The beds really are so comfortable, but bring your own pillow! Thank you, we'll be back!”
“I arrived very early. My husband and I couldn’t get the same flight back from Alicante and I was feeling quite poorly, temperature and shivery. The desk staff explained the situation, and apologised, but it was impossible to look for a room before 10.30. I had breakfast , scrambled egg which was delicious but far too much. I went back to the desk at 10.30 and staff said another half an hour, but offered me some hot fruit tea as I was clearly not well. They were so helpful, and he went personally to see if the room was ready at 10.50 and it was. My husband arrived very late n the night, and the next morning we needed a taxi to get home back to Sheffield. The two female desk attendance couldn’t have been more helpful. As I tried to manoeuvre through the Uber app. Everyone was so kind and considerate. I felt so spoiled nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much to all the staff.”
“I booked a room because I was arriving late into the Airport. The weather in the Algarve was horrendous with roads closed. So I decided not to fly.I had missed my free cancellation period with Booking, but a great staff member (Jermaine) actioned a free refund for me. Great customer service. I will return in January to your hotel.”
“Pleasant looking hotel from the outside which is situated 2 miles from the centre of Nottingham easy to drive with plenty of parking in the area. Entered reception, quick and easy booking in, and simple directions to the room, hotel was clean, tidy and pleasant decor. Restaurant with a simple menu catering for coeliacs, vegetarian and grass munchers, separate bar and lounge for relaxing in the evening with comfortable seating. Room was a double room, better suited to a single occupant. Double bed, large 48in Smart TV, coffee and tea facilities with limited coffee, tea bags and sugar, hair dry (not needed on this visit as I have little to no hair) iron and ironing board. Room itself was at the rear of the building which ment being away from the road facing a quiet residential estate and was peaceful unable to hear any road noise. Bedside table on both sides with a small dressing table with stool. There was a walk in wardrobe with plenty of space for hanging clothes (limited hangers) I would consider bring some from home. Small functional en-suit bathroom with shower and a good constant source of hot water and you didn’t need to run around in the shower to get wet. Toilet and sink with small hand and bath towels provided. Breakfast included served in the dining room, this is a full English with, Fried and scrambled eggs, button mushroom, hash browns, sausage, bacon, baked beans. The usual assortment of cereal’s, fruit, orange juice, various teas available (including herbal” & coffee, self help with toast. Breakfast is self service. Menu simple to navigate with the usual GASTRO type food available at reasonable prices. Staff were all very helpful, curious, plate and respectful, nothing was too much of a problem. Plenty of parking to the rear of the premises for cars. I stayed for 4 nights on business, main doors close at 11pm however if your a night owl your door keycard gains you access to the hotel through the reception entrance giving you a little freedom in the evenings. The hotel have free WiFi which was accessible even from the room at the back (RM 38). My only gripe was I needed a team of sharpers and oxygen for the long climb to the room, I as a little dizzy and threw myself on the bed. It is highly probably I will be in the area again in the near future and have requested my Company book me that hotel again. Very pleasant place highly recormended.”
“The staff were so lovely and welcoming, shared bathrooms were nice and clean. Rooms were very comfy, had a great nights stay. Location is very good too it’s walking distance from most attractions and close to car parks too. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Definitely recommend!”
“Good location, close to the university and in a fairly safe area. Building looks a bit dated or has an old-school charm, depending on whether you like that sort of thing. No trouble with service”

“Enjoyed our stay over the weekend. Hot tub Kids and the dogs loved it too. Will be back Only thing is no WiFi and mobile single is bad.”
“I thought my room was excellent value for money and I used the gym which was free for residents. My favourite piece of equipment is the cross trainer or stepper as I managed to do the equivalent of 4km going uphill in 20 minutes and I used 100 calories. There were a great many other modern pieces of equipment with a sports trainer on hand too. I can see negative reviews about cleanliness but I feel it was clean and comfortable. There were spiders outside the windows but they were not inside my room as they obviously hadn't booked in.”
“After being messed around with other accommodation in the middle of a long-haul flight (stressful!) and re-placed somewhere far below standard, I found Heritage Mews last minute - and honestly, it felt like it was meant to be. I stayed in Tambour, tucked at the bottom of the stairs in a cosy little courtyard that’s just perfect for summer. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming, with a beautiful central location. It felt like a home away from home, and I’m so grateful I ended up here. I didn't need anything during my 7 day stay but if I had, I felt like someone would have been on hand immediately. I will absolutely be returning!”
“I stayed at the Village hotel last month for a friends birthday. The whole stay was wonderful, from the friendly welcome from Sarah to the lovely, comfortable room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly your lovely bar manager. We had a great time playing darts to kick off our evening. And a swim and sauna the following day after a tasty breakfast. I didn't get chance to use the gym this time but all the facilities looked great so I look forward to this on my next visit. I'll definitely be returning, such a relaxing stay and nothing was too much trouble.”
“We like this hotel, situated near the castle and not far from the main bars and restaurants and a moderate walk to the theatres and arena. One of my favourite bar areas in a Nottingham, so comfortable and cosy. The team are lovely, although we found breakfast a bit chaotic when we visited, kids running about everywhere (although not the hotel's fault) and breakfast items slow to be replenished. It wouldn't put us off staying again. Parking in the multi storey can be a bit tight for larger vehicles, but the hotel has parking next to it which is in an outside space.”
“Ram was very pleasant and helpful. We really regret not eating at his restaurant, the food smelled so good. Will definitely do so next time we stay there. We look forward to see Rams future changes/upgrades for his hotel. We highly recommend Bennetts Hotel!”
“Great value. Nice and clean rooms, but it has all the essentials which important. However, my room only had one plug. I don't know if this is common with all rooms but it was a bit of an inconvenience. Great food options. Pints are a bit on the pricey side. Nice choice of beers on tap and the pub is dog friendly!”
“Excellent service spent 4 nights here and was extremely well looked after. Food was excellent and you could tell every meal was made fresh. Special mention to Lewis & Freya I was made to feel very welcome and I thank you personally for the great service”
“Nice little annex, left to do your own thing, would recommend :)”
“This is a great home with 4 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large sitting room and well equipped kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Plenty of parking. Would highly recommend.”
