“After a long wait, an item of stock I was seeking to purchase online, became available. Not sure of it’s suitability, the staff at the WB store were extremely helpful and accommodating in ordering my item into their store for me to view. They kept me up to date with its delivery progress and once arrived, offered to assist with transportation to my car! Highly recommended store - staff couldn’t have been anymore helpful!”

“Whet for a 50th birthday party the atmosphere was great, the establishment through out was very clean and tidy. The staff was great and very cheerful, professional and polite the food was great and also as 2 rooms at the front and a big room at the back with a big outdoor garden with table. At the front they have ample of parking space and also for people who smoke an outdoor shelter I would recommend this place from my experience.”

“Stopped by for a quick bite to eat and a drink. Had the 2 mains for £13.50 deal. Chicken burger & Chicken salad. Staff are friendly and our doggies were most welcome. Sat out the back while the sun was out for 5mins.”

“We have a Premium Magic Mirror photo booth company and was asked by the host to entertain their guest at his wife's 50th birthday party on the 1st September 2018. The event was one of our best to date great staff, atmosphere and the guests loved our services. We have had a a couple of additional bookings from the venue which is the icing on the cake. Can't fault it - since the change in ownership this pub has provided many great lunches as well as a friendly and homely place to drink. Thank you to all of the staff who are, without exception, fantastic and accommodating. Would always recommend to a local or to anybody passing by!”

“It's been a long time since this place was the Old Vic. First time we'd been here as we don't tend to visit this part of town too often. Very nice place indeed ! Pleasant staff, lovely, clean surroundings and a nice atmosphere. We only popped in for a 'swift half' to see what it was like - ended up staying a couple of hours and having fab pizzas there too! 2 for 1 pizzas at that (both have to be the same). Good selection of beers, ales and ciders(try the Berliner Pilsner!) and great food, I could have had 1 of everything! We'll be back, thanks guys!”

“came here for brunch with friends, between us we tried both the vegetarian and vegan breakfasts, as well as hot and iced lattes. was very impressed by the range of dishes offered and the way that the vegan and veggie dishes didn’t just seem like an afterthought. very reasonably priced - full English with a coffee for £11 a head and not lacking on quality or portion size either!! coffee was great too, and we were told that it’s from a local roaster too which is great. Staff were very polite and friendly and it’s just so nice to find another cosy spot that is reasonably priced and caters to everyone!!!”

“Had no money and politely asked to use the toilets and was granted access. Was able to suit and boot myself to no expense. Seems popular and chilled out. Also managed, the scruff I am to appropriate some tobacco unselfishly not made obsolete with tap water. A tragic ploy by some landlords but not these. Thank you for having me I'll surely return another day. Peace.”

“Visited today with my four week old son. As I walked in to the store I noticed my son looked a little unwell. Clearly seeing my worry, a lovely member of staff came straight over and asked if we were ok; I told him my son looked a little unwell and he insisted I make myself comfortable in the changing room if he needs a feed, change etc. and take my time. It really put me at ease and comfortable and gave me the time I needed on one of my first trips out with him. I was able to soothe my son and get on with my shopping. The staff were super helpful and were able to find that the item I wanted wasn’t in store, but did an in store purchase to be delivered to my home for me. Definitely will be making sure we pop in on future visits in to Nottingham because the team are just amazing!! Thank you!”
