Cafe in Plymouth

“This is our 'go to' cafe when we visit our Son in Plymouth and yet again we had some lovely food. Piping hot pot of tea and a superb all day breakfast was a welcome distraction from the rain and hailstones lashing down outside. A real bonus is the fact that its dog friendly as well. Another excellent visit”

“Great little cafe with a surprisingly good selection. Food and ice creams were really nice and the service was great too. The owner was really nice and friendly even though we saw two people in front of us being quite rude and awkward. Location is superb.”

“Was given a warm welcome on entering the cafe. Our orders were taken professionally and the two staff members (George and Gill) were very friendly, smiley and accommodating. I was offered other foods when ordering too. The cafe was clean, tidying and had a nice atmosphere. Prices were good too. Definitely be back whilst on our train travels.”

“Good cafe right on the beach (although separated from the beach by a river) with its own car park (also large pay (not winter) parking area across the road). Breakfasts and snacks served all day. Dogs welcome and many sheltered areas for when the weather is not so good and seating to catch the sun when it is out.”

“There are many food stalls, and all the food is tasty. I kept returning for more food and drinks. I always leave there with a big smile and a satisfied stomach, and I highly recommend it to all food lovers.”

“Nice clean and hotel quiet hotel room. Very helpful and friendly staff, would be nice if the hotel management put a tip jar for the bar staff etc, paid £104 for the night booked directly, could have paid £90 if booked through a website, would have been nice to pay the lower rate as I was booking direct so no middle men etc. All in all a great hotel and well located with decent staff and customer service, will certainly visit again.”

“Lovely food and portion sizes are great. We loved it. We had booked for the titanic murder mystery but it was cancelled. In compensation they offered our party a free 2 course meal. We expected the food to be free and pay for the drinks, however they comped those too! We appreciated that so much and were completely blown away. Amazing staff and fantastic service!”

“A friendly, welcoming café with a wide selection of food to choose from at very competitive prices. I especially loved the childrens meals at just £1.95 each which includes a drink and packet of sweets for after. I would definitely recommend you try out this place.”

“What a view! Staff were lovely, everyone smiling and happy as well as helpful. My tacos were great as was the cheeseburger but it was sorely let down because there was no lettuce or tomato. Tacos were good value but the cheese burger not so. Will definitely go back but John will have tacos!”

“What a great stop. Lovely big bike shop with a good range of accessories plus a super cafe. Staff were helpful and kind and I liked the helmet cubby holes at the door to keep your lid off the tables (signs asking you not to put your lids on the tables). Service was quick but they forgot my black pudding, quickly fixed! Food was hot and coffee good, what more do you need? Warm and dry on our very wet visit, a welcome relief!”

“Well what a little find this was! We googled where to find a soft play that was open before school started up again and booked for a morning session. It was so busy, but what a calm and friendly atmosphere. Lovely safe space for the children to play where the staff treated us like family. The wonderful cafe was a nice surprise! A big shout out to Tracy who went above and beyond to make sure our eldest who has SEN had a completely inclusive experience. Other children’s facilities could learn a lot from her knowledge and attitude. We will be back and don’t worry, I didn’t wash this loyalty card!! Much love, Emmy and Chris”
