“I asked Berkshire Cycles to carry out a major service on my Fuji road bike a few months ago including replacing chainsaw, derailleur and gear cables. U was pleased with the service and the result but a few days ago the gear cables became detached. I took it into to Berkshire cycles and they repaired it on the spot at no charge. This is excellent service from cycle enyusiasts that deserve a big thank you Keep up the good work guys!!”

“Card machine wasn’t working, but staff called us to explain in advance and check we were happy to pay by cash. Staff, especially Charlie, we’re super helpful and accommodating going extra mile for a birthday celebration and manually managing member discounts etc. Really good service from very helpful staff (who kept smiling and helping despite, by the sounds of things, them having a very bad day). “Ordered my food and mentioned once that I have dietary restrictions. Ordered and sat down with my drink. A few moments later the bartender came to my table to verify what if ordered and made sure everything was correct. I'm impressed by that level of service. When the food came out it looked good and tasted even better. The interior is comfortable. While I was there it wasn't very busy. Overall it was a great experience and I'll be going back. Note: online it's says they have darts which they don't.”

The setting is absolutely beautiful – a charming building with a stunning garden in a peaceful location by the river. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. It’s also a dog-friendly place, which we really appreciated. Free parking is another great bonus. Highly recommended for a relaxing meal in a lovely setting!”

The weather was not good, but they have arranged all inside and outside fire pits with Marlow umbrellas very impressive. The room is very beautiful, nice clean thank to housekeeping team genlemen called Marcin very helpful with our luggage and we find out he is working here more than 12 yeasrs WOW, Christmas decorations were going up feel so good. We love to visit this hotel with friends and sure coming back in summer. Thank you Compleat Angler team.”

“I had my ears spontaneously peirced by jerusha who offered me and my friend a 20% discount when signing up to a loyalty card. her customer service was amazing, she was very chatty and sweet with us and made us feel really comfortable. there was also another girl on shift with her with black short hair and a fringe, i didnt catch her name but she was also very sweet and chatty. give them the raise that they deserve!”

“Me, my wife and my two kids went last night for a nice meal as we are on holiday. We picked the pub at it had some of the best reviews near our hotel. All I can say is we were blown away. We asked for a table in a corner away from others as my daughter has learning difficulties and hates noise and sometimes cannot stay still, they didn’t even question it. They let us sit in the corner alone near a fire. Our starters were amazing and came out quickly. The sticky barbecue chicken was delicious. Then our mains were amazing. My wife and son had a steak and they were actually cooked right! Which is hard to find these days. Then we had puddings and they were also lovely. The manager (I didn’t get her name) was so attentive which is nice to see as normally at restaurants you don’t get much interaction with them. Everyone was so friendly and polite. We would 100% recommend and if we ever come back on holiday we will be eating here again.”

Their ethos is a big draw for us, and it is a great comfort to know that sustainability is being taught to her, quite simply, as a way of life. The meals and snacks provided are fresh and varied so she eats a healthy and balanced diet. During the day she enjoys a wide range of activities, and we have seen substantial growth in her development since starting here. I like the way in which her play is observed so they can encourage her in areas she enjoys most, while also being given the opportunity to explore new areas for development. I particularly like that the wonderful outdoor space is used on a daily basis, and the children are encouraged to discover nature as a part of their play. The interaction and insight gained from the app was such a comfort when she first started at the nursery a few months ago - especially during a lockdown, we found it invaluable and continue to do so.”
