“This is an amazing nursery. My son has been going since January and he absolutely loves it. The staff are all so friendly and caring, and they really pay attention to the individual needs of the child. No ask is ever too much for them. The outdoor space is great and they spend alot of time outside which is something I love about the nursery. They also do lots of different activities such as painting and creative play. They dealt with the recent shutdown exceptionally well, and I have complete confidence in all the measures they have put in place since reopening, always prioritising both the needs of the children and the necessary safety measures.”

“We couldn’t recommend this nursery highly enough. Our little girl had a difficult start to life and when able to start attending nursery, still needed some special attention. The team were never fazed by any of this, and haven’t just helped to look after her, they have been a fundamental part of her progress, both in terms of her health and overall development. Every member of the team we’ve met has been incredibly friendly and we love hearing about and seeing (via the great online platform they use) all the fun things she does during her time there. If we could give more than 5 stars we would!”

“This Nursery deserves an award, they should be recognised as the gold standard for how to run a nursery and I will explain why. My daughter would not settle in her previous nursery and she suffered a lot with separation anxiety as most toddlers do. The previous nursery would not offer additional settling sessions, very strict on timings she was dropped / collected and basically gave up on assisting my daughter in feeling emotionally secure. I went and visited many nurseries and got the same feeling that the staff weren't doing the job as they were passionate about children, it was just a job for them and they gave the bare minimal... and then I found Inglewood. Within 1 week at Inglewood my daughter would ask to go to Nursery all day every day, even at pick up she was more than happy to stay! Previously she would be pulled off from me screaming that she didn't want to stay, this would go on for months until eventually I would be asked by the previous nursery to remove her! The staff are so different at Inglewood they are truly phenomenal. Helen at Bramble on day 1 was brutally honest with me about my concerns, didn't sugar coat anything either which I respect and prepared me for how I could really work with them to get my daughter settled and happy quickly. Chloe is my daughters key worker, I'm starting to believe my daughter prefers her to me, the kindest most patient human I think I have met, my daughter calls you her best friend to everyone. Megan and Lakeisha, your presence is so positive and happy, as a parent you have made me believe that you actually care about how my child feels and is getting on throughout the day. The observations are very detailed and the reviews on your child's development are broken down into categories that make it so easy for you to think about ways you can supplement their development at home. Jane in the kitchen, you have helped transform a child with very picky eating habits into one who now asks me for the dinners she has at nursery - thank you so much and please continue what you do. The back office team, it is so refreshing to speak with lovely humans who go out of their way to help me constantly. I can turn up with my laptop in a faff about the government account, various codes etc and every time they have sat down with me and helped me to solve my problems. They have flexible policies, an open door policy which allows me to drop and pick off my child whenever I like, without any rigid rules around letting the nursery know my schedule. Jenna thank you for always picking up the phone and being the helpful human that you are, I remember one day you got another member of staff just to double check a code I had received was correct and actually it wasn't, but the other lady resolved it there and then for me - saving me a lot of money in fees. Jane and Fiona I love bumping into you in the corridors you always take time to say hello to my daughter and I, again it adds to the overall positive energy at this nursery. Laura, well done for running an extraordinary nursery with outstanding humans who really are a blessing to the establishment. The grounds are stunning, my daughter says every day on the drive how beautiful the fields are, the garden is huge and very secure, they offer swimming lessons at an additional cost onsite too! I will never be able to thank you all enough for all of the ways you are benefiting and supporting my daughter and I. Thank you so much, Kiren”

“I honestly can’t recommend this nursery enough, both my children have attended this day nursery. One starting at 6 months the other at 8 months old. Despite finding it hard to put my children in at such a young age the girls throughout the nursery have been fantastic. Making sure that there are daily updates from what they have eaten, when they have slept and what activities they’ve done in the day which is really lovely to see. My children have become extremely confident and thrive in their development. My 18 months old is able to count from 1-10 and recognise numbers! Although this isn’t the main focus and the girls at Northumberland provide excellent care to the children and you can see the wonderful bonds and relationships they develop with all the children.”

“Waterside is a great nursery. After my initial visit, I was very impressed by the offering and I adored the arts and crafts room. The site is safe and secure and they allow comforts which was a big bonus as that helped the adjustment after being home throughout covid. Our 3 year old has been at Waterside just over 9 months and really loves it. The team assisted greatly with potty training with was greatly appreciated as full time working parents. Our little one has recently been showing off her yoga moves at home, taught at preschool. The nursery app. Provides detailed information throughout the day including food, education and loo stops. The team are very approachable and show they care. We definitely recommend this nursery/preschool and it's a great location in Thames Valley Park.”

“A really amazing nursery and so glad we picked it. Our son Billy absolutely loves going and has thrived since starting there. He has some development delays and the staff have been really keen to learn how they can help him overcome them and you can tell they really care about the children that go there. They don’t use fancy apps to give you updates but at the end of each day the staff are always able to tell you how his day has been and what he has been up to. Really can’t recommend them highly enough!”

    Greyfriars Day Nursery

    ★★★☆☆ 3.1
    Closed

“I am absolutely thrilled to share my experience with Greyfriars Nursery, where my daughter has been attending since she was one year and four months old. My daughter is now three years and eight months old, and as she prepares to join school this coming September, I reflect on our wonderful journey with the nursery. As a mother, there’s no greater joy than seeing your child happy and thriving in an environment they love. Greyfriars Nursery has provided exactly that for my daughter, and in turn, has given me immense happiness and peace of mind. I am extremely satisfied with the nursery for its exceptional communication and exemplary staff, in my view. Starting from the caregivers in the baby room to the staff managing meals and cleanliness, My daughter adores everyone. Each day, there’s something exciting for the children to do. Remarkably, despite her young age when she started, my daughter has never once cried when I’ve left her there. She’s always incredibly happy when I come to pick her up. As we approach this new chapter of my daughter starting school, I wholeheartedly recommend Greyfriars Nursery to other parents. As a very satisfied mother, I can confidently say that your child will be in excellent hands here. The environment is nurturing, engaging, and just fantastic for young minds to grow and flourish.”
