“I don’t want to give less stars as I’m a repeat customer so have ordered a lot of times. But I don’t know if the chef has changed or what’s happened but their chole bhature has completely changed and tastes nothing like it used to. It tastes so bland now and without spices and the onions are also just plain. It used to be so tasty before so makes me sad that I’m no longer going to be ordering”

“I've been coming to this place every week—it's my favorite restaurant! One of the best things about it is that they’re happy to customize the food to your preference. “I was very apprehensive to order Indian food after about 5-6 years ago, the place I used to order from got so bad it put me off and never eaten it since. I was recommended this place by a few people recently so thought, ok. Let's give them a go.... I must say, super fast delivery, friendly driver and the food is AMAZING! Large portions, everything was hot! Great quality and the partner has got lunch tomorrow too! Thank you chefs for restoring my faith in this cuisine again! “The Kobeda Palence has wide range of tasty dishes available. Is is a moderatly big restraint wich is quite airy and spacious. This restraint has some unique style high backed chairs and tables. (See photoes). There is also a A.T.M machine within this restrant. There is a take-away bar here as well as plenty of indoor seating available. The food quality is Amazing and delicious, and I would come again. Kobeda Palace is located on Oxford Road, Reading, and is only a minute wald from Tesco Extra.”

“We used to get this delivered when we lived in bramley and it was lush.. tho the week day balti had a lot more taste than the weekend delivery so thinking maybe two different chefs..now moved back to Basingstoke we tried several places for a balti and none have come close to how tasty this one is.. it’s definitely our favourite Indian takeaway by far . The food is delicious the customer service is amazing and it’s open late delivery up to 2AM 1 of my favourite places to go for a late night snack and it’s a FAMILY run business which means the food is always good quality unlike some of these other commercial restaurants… I would highly recommend it to anyone who has not already tried it….”

“Went with family for a dinner. Indian food served with Kerala taste and spices. And they serve Halal meat. Nice ambience. Easy to identify from even heavy traffic.Nice and small restaurant with ample seating. Typical Kerala food !! Enjoyed every bit of Kappa(tapioca)biriyani and Kappa with fish curry was awesome. I tried Beef fry and beef ularthiyath.Both were excellent but I expected beef fry bit more dry than ularthiyath. Both went well with traditional appam. Kids also enjoyed appam and fish curry. Kappa biriyani (mutton) was pure tradition blend. Thalassery biriyani was not dum but rice was khaima small rice.Since we were in Thalassery before and tasted authentic one before , biriyani was not as expected,but was not bad. Kerala porotta was nice with beef.Masala tea was so good. Tried a mango lassi as well , and lassi was superb. What I felt fantastic was the serving speed . Never seen a hotel in Uk serving that quick. Very friendly and polite staff. Very pocket friendly restaurant. Will definitely visit again. Parking in the front of the shop is paid parking for 2 hours.”

“I only ordered the onion bhajis for dinner, but wow — they were absolutely to die for. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and flavourful on the inside, and bursting with that fresh, spiced onion goodness. The portion was generous, the seasoning was spot-on, and every bite tasted freshly made. And the mint yogurt sauce? Incredible. Cool, creamy, refreshing, and the perfect match for the warm bhajis. Together, they made the simplest meal feel like something special. Honestly, one of the best onion bhaji experiences I’ve ever had. I’d go back just for those!”

“This is by far the best Indian food I have had in the area. The food was oozing with flavour and the spice was just perfect. The owner was also very polite and courteous. I would highly recommend the mixed grill, fish dishes and the biryani. All for excellent value too”

“Just got takeaway from there to take to my friend in hospital, Food still hot on arrival 20 miles awayvquality and taste of food excellent the friend I was visiting has been in the restaurant trade most of his life and he said it was the best Indian he’d ever had and would give 10 stars if possible. I don’t understand how this place can get any bad reviews the service is excellent the guys are polite and friendly and the food is home cooked and traditional what more do you want?? I can only assume those that give bad reviews are probably never happy with anything and always complain with the hope of getting a discount or ruining the guys reputation”
