This place should be packed to the rafters, there was absolutely nothing that could have been better during our meal. “We happened to be in the area for my husband’s work and was craving homely food and stumbled upon Elai. Being from Kerala ourselves we have to say this has to be the BEST Kerala restaurant we’ve been to in UK ( and we’ve been to many). From the service to the atmosphere to the food authenticity- it was all PERFECT! Would definitely be returning if we’re in the area. 10/10 recommend.”

A big thank you to the chefs for the delicious food and sweet flavours! I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Nepali food — the dishes were absolutely tasty, the service was warm and genuine, and the portions were generous. This restaurant is truly wonderful — from the friendly staff to the amazing flavours, everything was perfect. I’m really impressed and will definitely be coming back! “I have known of this restaurant for a while, but do not live near by. Finally I decided to pay a visit. I loved their food and service. The front desk lady is super efficient. The menu is delectable and have many of my favorites. I loved the Thali concept as it provided many of my favorites in small portions, more than enough in quantity for a person's meal. All the dishes tasted great and I ended up having takeaways as well. One of the owners was there and came to greet which is a wonderful gesture. I hope this restaurant flourishes as there are not many authentic Bengali restaurants around. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“Namaste is always our go to Nepalese restaurant as all of their foods were delicious to name a few were pork momos , pani puri, chicken sekuwa, paneer etc.. It’s only a 10 drive away from us and the staff were very nice. Always happy to come here and highly recommended! 5 STAR service and food.”

“That was one of the best curries I’ve ever had… and I’ve had curries from all over. After popadoms we skipped starters and I went for the Hook Tandoori Special. Every bite was different, every bite was a pleasure to eat, it was faultless. Big chunks of very well cooked chicken, lamb, fish, prawns, king prawns and even a potato wedge - which was great, because I love Bombay aloo. Chunks of tomatoes, onion, peppers and chillies mixed in with it too - take or leave the chillies but I took them (they’re quite hot). I honestly think it would feed two people, I’ve got a big appetite and struggled on my own, was glad I only had to make it over the road to lie down. If I didn’t live 200 miles away, I’d probably be their most regular customer. I’ll definitely be making a point of visiting again next time I’m in the area. Very well done all, absolutely fantastic!”

“I visited couple of times while travelling back from London. This restaurant is excellent for North Indian food, offering delicious food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a nice display of spices on the tables that adds to the authenticity of the dining experience. Our server was very attentive and helpful. We started with papadoms and drinks. The papadoms were served with a variety of dips, kids loved it. We also tried Daal makhani, Paneer, pulaav with cheese chili, garlic naan. Food was amazing as always. Overall, House of Flavours offers a great dining experience with good food, a nice atmosphere, and very helpful staff. I highly recommend it if you are around this area and looking for authentic Indian food.”

“Wow! Wow! Wow! This place is amazing! Right from when your set foot in the door the staff are warm and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere with nice Indian music in the background to say the tone. Immaculate white linen table settings all spotless. It is bigger than it looks with a Sisha Lounge behind the main restaurant. It's the best tasting Indian food I've had, genuinely. Great poppadoms(some with a spicy twist) and chutneys to start, delicious mains and great wine. Zak our waiter and all the staff were attentive when you needed them, but gave you space to enjoy your evening when you didn't which for me is the epitomy of great waiting staff. We will be returning. If you are looking for a great Indian restaurant in the Twyford area, go to Haweli, you won't be disappointed.”

My personal favourite is the Chicken Mirchwali—a perfect choice if you enjoy bold, spicy flavours like I do. It’s packed with heat and depth, and absolutely hits the spot. I’ve also tried the Mixed Grill, which offers a great variety and showcases the kitchen’s skill with perfectly cooked meats. On top of that, the chefs are more than happy to adjust dishes to suit individual preferences, which is a rare and much-appreciated touch. “Excellent. Authentic. DELICIOUS!!! Had Cinnamon Bay delivered last night and it was AWESOME! The food arrived super quick, piping hot and beautifully packaged. All our dishes (king prawn sizzler, chicken madras, lamb birayani, saag aloo, onion bahji, tadka dahl, peshawari naan and chapati) were authentic, flavoursome and well spiced. Decent sized, but not huge portions, but for the extremely low prices we have no complaints. We'll just order more next time! Another thing we noted was how clean the foods were, no greasy residues. Thoroughly recommend.”

“My brother just moved to the area so, first night we just ordered the exact same from both Taj and from Monsoon down the road. Chicken Tikka Masala, Rice, Onion Baji and Keema Naan. The Taj wins hands down and it wasn't even close. This seems to be a much more authentic Indian Curry than down the road which was the bright red Masala you see lots of places. Monsoon is decent enough but The Taj is different league for us. Highly recommend. The Taj is the one on the left in the photo. Proper looking, authentic Masala.”
