It’s a haven for wildlife lovers—especially those who enjoy birdwatching. I’ve spotted so many different species here using my bird ID app, which has made each visit even more enjoyable. It’s also a very popular spot for dog walkers. I don’t have a dog myself, but it’s always lovely to see them having such a great time, exploring all the scents and making new friends. Langley Mead offers that perfect mix of calm, natural beauty and quiet companionship with nature. Highly recommended for anyone needing a bit of fresh air and tranquility.”

“Had a great time at a Heritage Live gig at Englefield Estate. Gorgeous setting, good vibes, and it actually felt like a proper festival - with enough bars and loos (rare). Busy but not rammed, which made it all the more enjoyable. Only complaint was the chaos getting out at the end, but that aside, really fun night out.”

“Really cool place. Is located in a very central place yet it doesnt attract that many people. Its a beautiful spot to where you can relax and disconnect for a bit. Also it is very nice by night as the lights from the sourrounding buildings reflect and create a nice atmosphere.”

“Stayed for the night following a friend's birthday celebration. Warm welcome on check in and everything explained regarding breakfast and checking out. Beautiful large room for 2 of us to share, everything you could need to make a comfortable stay. Bathroom with a large walk in shower, looked fairly new and sparkling clean. Comfy beds and a fabulous breakfast in the morning. Perfectly poached eggs. The evening meal was lovely everyone was impressed with their choices and portion sizes were fabulous for the price. Staff were happy to add a candle to our friend's desert for us. Definitely would recommend and would stay again if in the area.”
