“Attended a wedding on Sunday 14th December. Darren was our server. He was very polite, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and everything was fine. Was more than happy to answer any questions we had. He is a credit to Audrey's wood. A great member of staff you have.”

“Phil worked with my dog to build up his confidence in being taken for walks (after having had another dog walker where he'd developed a fear of the van). Not only did Phil build up Otis' confidence, he built up mine, with photos, video clips to show me how Otis was progressing. Otis loves Phil and when I was taking Otis for a walk, I got dragged over to Phil by an excited Otis. I couldn't recommend highly enough!”

“We had a lovely weekend stay as a family of four — myself, my husband, and our two children. The hotel was perfect for us! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. A special thank you to Zara at reception — she was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and professional. Her warm attitude really made a difference. We would definitely recommend this hotel to families looking for a relaxing and well-managed place to stay.”

“Lovely hotel with great, friendly staff. They welcomed us and our children extremely warmly and made our life a lot easier! The evening buffet for the children was brilliant as it meant they could eat without waiting ages and pick what they wanted and change their minds easily enough. The grown up food was also very tasty. On a personal preference I thought the food was a bit 'poncy' for my taste but that's entirely a personal thing! Would definitely look to stay here again if I was in the area.”

“The hotel was absolutely lovely. As a wheelchair user, I get anxious about going to new places but this hotel is 100% disabled friendly. Although I didn't have a disabled room, the room I had was very spacious and I was still able to use my wheelchair in it easily. It was very clean, the food was delicious (although slightly expensive), and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would 100% recommend this place for a lovely little retreat, the spa facilities were really nice and also wheelchair friendly!”

“Great service and highly recommend. We have used kennels in the past but never again. They took amazing care of our (slightly high maintenance) Dalmatian! Updates we got whilst we were away were awesome because we know how much he struggled with kennels in the past. Thanks again guys!”

“I have to say that i am stunned by the kindness and hospitality of Sharon and her team during our stay due to a house fire. Everyone is so kind and has worked so hard to ensure that my family and my dogs who were trapped in the fire are happy. I can honestly say that ive never stayed anywhere better. Lovely family atmosphere and we will miss everyone when we leave. You will not find a friendlier hotel. The staffs love if dogs shines through. Roons and service go way beyond excellent. Highly recommend.”

“We have been having training sessions with Lisa for our 1 year old dachshund Eevee, she has been fantastic! Showing us all the different ways to help Eevee cope with all the things that scare her (which is everything!) and to help her become a more confident dog and in turn help us become more confident owners! Lisa is very honest, saying when things are going well and when things aren’t working but then working with us to come to a solution that works best for Eevee. If you want someone to understand your dog and help train them, then Lisa is the person for you!”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay , it is beautifully decorated thorough out, very peaceful. Extremely comfortable. We also got treated to breakfast, which gave an extra touch of home from home. We were visiting for my sisters big birthday party, which was a stones throw away. It’s a little gem, and now we’ve found it we’re hoping to use it each visit. We took our little doggy too. Who also love the peace and fantastic walks around the estate, highly recommend this coach house excellent on every level. Thank you Diane x”

“Stayed for the night following a friend's birthday celebration. Warm welcome on check in and everything explained regarding breakfast and checking out. Beautiful large room for 2 of us to share, everything you could need to make a comfortable stay. Bathroom with a large walk in shower, looked fairly new and sparkling clean. Comfy beds and a fabulous breakfast in the morning. Perfectly poached eggs. The evening meal was lovely everyone was impressed with their choices and portion sizes were fabulous for the price. Staff were happy to add a candle to our friend's desert for us. Definitely would recommend and would stay again if in the area.”

“Absolutely great little Pub with very well equipped rooms. Food was great especially breakfast. Staff were excellent. Anyone thinking about a place to stay, whilst visiting Bombay Sapphire, should definitely put this place top of the list. Overton is a lovely friendly little village.”

“We just had our wedding at Barton’s mill and it was incredible. The staff were amazing and helpful and friendly, the food was delicious and they set up the tables with the decor we provided beautifully. Flo our co ordinator was so lovely and took away our stresses and Chanelle who looked after us in the morning kept us updated and on time with the order of the day. Absolutely worth every penny and a gorgeous venue to hold a wedding.”

“Me and my girlfriend decided we would try out the food in this fine establishment. We bought a drink at the bar then was taken to our seats to order food. It happened to be steak night and our waiter (Luke) was absolutely amazing, with good old British banter but also very professional. I always get a Rib/eye steak, but like recommended something else by like and I was not disappointed at all. My other half got fish and chips which was cooked to perfection, and oh my god the beef dripping chips are to die for! We will 100% be back, and give Luke a raise because he deserves one!!”
