“Busy place great food sufficient servers great attitude non intrusive. Plenty of seats but not a feeling of being cramped. Nice busy buzz but people far enough away so that you can still hear your own table's conversation without hearing those of others around you. Nice place to be, good parking.”

“Absolutely stunning the interior is just as pretty as the decorative exterior of the building. Especially the toilets, it was floral / carousel themed there were pastel coloured roses everywhere! An amazing experience. and of course the toilets were the best”

“Went to this Lido on a Thursday with their Swim & Lunch package. Such a best deal! We came a bit late but the team are very welcoming and flexible and we can still enjoy the lunch and the swim and spa facilities.”

“If you like remote and dog friendly, this is ideal. Google maps took us down some country lanes and over a single way bridge, on the map the pub shows pretty much on an island surrounded by country parks & lakes. The location is nice. Car park has about 30 spaces & I think 2 electric car chargers. The pub was pretty quiet when we arrived and the locals/staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The pub itself has a lovely interior. To the food, we had the vegan burger, bacon and cheese burger and the childs fish goujons. All very nice and well portioned. For dessert we had the rhubarb crumble with vanilla and vegan ice cream, finished off the meal perfectly.”

“I’ve been visiting Piwnica for years, and the food is always outstanding. Every dish is full of authentic Polish flavour, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It’s consistently a wonderful dining experience!”

“Hey! This place is nicely & warmly welcoming. The food is cooked right (beef) and portions are quite large balancing the price. The staff is polite and wouldn’t rush you, altogether in a family atmosphere. Large car park, large beer garden in the back along with some tables out in the front, large tables, large and clean toilets - so overall all quite ‘largely’ impressed. Give it a try!”

“Really quite exceptional hotel right by Farnborough Airport. I was in many ways taken aback by the quality of the hotel, the staff, the rooms and the food from the brasserie. This hotel has a lovely ‘feel’ to it, I felt welcomed, comfortable and relaxed. It’s clear that whoever is in charge has imbued the staff with a solid customer-focussed ethos. There are lots of ‘little touches’ you’ll love. I won’t spoil the surprise. Book a stay and see for yourself.”

“Visited Miller & Carter Basingstoke today for a late evening dinner. Upon arrival swiftly seated and starting drinks were delivered promptly. Our server Sam was attentive and on the ball. Frequently checking to ensure food was fine & we had sufficient drinks to pair with our food. Once finished our food in no time at all the table was cleared and we were offered desert menu and refreshing drinks. Showing Sam's keen eye of attention noticing immediately our mains had been finished. Food was excellent and arrived in good time. Flavoured and seasoned to perfection. Again no fault whatsoever here.”

“My partner have really enjoyed our visits to Lusso over the last few years. The sour dough pizza is delicious - in particular we've always enjoyed the goats cheese, pesto and onion chutney one. Highly recommended if you haven't tried already.”

“I went with my kids for the Sunday buffet, the great thing is its all freshly made, rather than sitting there, a small selection of food but more than enough for any person. The staff are attentive and amazing, friendly, the food tastes soooooooooooooo good, I am currently writing this just before I step into a food coma on my sofa! Loved it, would recommend 5*”

“We had a great room with nice and high ceilings. Towels, Tea / Coffee and fridge all provided. Super comfortable beds. Breakfast had to be pre-booked before 8pm but it was exceptional, the chef's service and food was perfect. Actually had one of my best hot chocolates ever! We had dinner the night before really large list of options fully catered for veggies and vegans which was great to see. Would recommend staying here and having some food too. Not much around for convenience shops so stop on the way in for what you may need.”

“Blue Collar Corner is a funky shipping container type pop up venue in Reading town centre. This is different. Inside there are a number of food bars offering a range of tasty food in good portions. I had the coco chicken and it was good - and a big portion! The main bar serves beer from a local brewery. Plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs - it's a fairly large venue. Live DJ playing. Overall a nice vibe with a relaxed crowd. Definitely worth checking this out in the summer.”

“A favourite pub for the Morris Dancing community. Great setting, beautiful old "real pub" with a fine range of real ales. The staff are lovely and the regulars, of which there are several, very welcoming. Given its popularity, on street parking can be challenging but well worth the effort.”

“Phoned for a reservation and advised food served from 6 pm. Got a very warm welcome from staff. Shown to table. As well as menu's given, there is a great selection of specials on a blackboard that is brought to table. We had main courses, desserts and coffee afterwards. The food was excellent and ate it all. When I asked if we could have cream with our coffee instead of milk - no problem. We had a nice relaxed evening in a lovely homely pub and our stomachs were full. Well recommend a visit to all. 8th February 2020 - under new management Got a very warm welcome and noticed new decor. Food was FANTASTIC and took photos. Look forward to next visit.”

“Visited for the first time last weekend, and absolutely loved the food and the vibe! The part-time waitress we had was amazing and a lovely lady that definitely looked after us! Please note that service can take a while, we stayed over 2 hours for a main and a dessert!”

The Bartenders are also very knowledgeable on the selection of drinks they offer and the deals they have to always help you out with your decisions”

“I had such a great experience at Everyman Cinema! The food was delicious ,fresh, tasty, and served quickly. What really made the evening stand out though was the service. Kam, Dan, Will, Mhorran and Anne were all absolutely fantastic. They made us feel at home and really looked after us from start to finish. It’s rare to find such a combination of great atmosphere, quality food, and genuinely excellent service. Definitely looking forward to coming back soon!”

“Stopped here for a pint a couple of times... Great pub garden, lots of seating and nicely set out. Tables and sunshades are plentiful, and there are big and small tables, private areas and loads of character. Drinks are tasty and reasonably priced. Also plenty of parking and food looked delicious!”

“At Monsoon this evening, the team truly redefined what service means in a dining experience. It’s rare these days to find such a genuine sense of hospitality, and it was quite refreshing. Abu, who looked after us throughout the night, made us feel like more than just customers—by the end of the evening, he felt like a friend. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu were impressive, and his recommendations were spot on. You could see how much pride he took in presenting the dishes, a sign of a restaurant that truly values its own food and its customers too. The food arrived quickly, hot and delicious, reflecting the precision and coordination of a well-oiled team. The quality of the dishes was exceptional, making it clear that this is a place worth returning to. It’s been one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in quite some time, and we’ll definitely be back.”

“Very sadly this wonderful live music venue is now closed, as no alternative location could be found despite heroic efforts by many people. Its premises were in the ground floor of a multi storey car park which is condemned due to failing concrete. Bids are being taken for the excellent sound, lighting and other fittings and equipment. I'm in tears at the loss of The Couch. May its spirit live on elsewhere.”

“We hosted a baby shower here, and it was amazing! We had just over 80 people and the staff were all so accommodating and helpful. Anything we had forgot, they had and provided for us. Very friendly and welcoming. The venue itself is also beautiful and was set up especially to accommodate us bringing our own food. We appreciate all the help we had in setting up and packing away. We will definitely be back! And recommending the place to everyone. Thank you again so much for helping to make our day one to remember.”

“Did a super job looking after 50 of us, really lovely staff, dog friendly. It's a small pub but it's homely has a fireplace and a little upstairs area, along with a cute garden space.”

“We had a lovely family celebration here last Sunday lunchtime. There we eight of us ranging from us in our seventies to a one year old. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and varied - something to suit all tastes, beautifully cooked and served hot and all at the same time which is quite a feat when we had all chosen different dishes. We were seated in an oval table in the window which was just perfect. After our meal we were able to enjoy the sunshine in the large garden at the back. We will definitely visit again.”
