“Lovely hotel and the themed suites are pricy but a novel treat if you want some space with a different ambience. Fantastic breakfast. No parking on site but there is a multistory on the opposite side of reading train station, so it's only a five minute walk. Great location of you want the reading night life.”

“We went to a friend's Wedding Reception here. This place is perfect for a party. The food was excellent and staff were lovely. It has a great seating area with tables and room for a DJ,dance floor or band. It also has a small outside area at the back. I would highly recommend it.”

“Had a roast at The Mill House and it was spot on! Great food, great prices, and Dave was super welcoming and helpful. There were a few of us but the food came out nice and quick, and everything was really tasty. He checked in a few times to make sure we were all good too. Can’t complain at all — really good service and food for the price. Definitely going back again!”

The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, making our stay very comfortable. Dinner was excellent — the sea bass was especially vibrant, fresh, and delicious. “Great location in the centre of Reading. The staff are friendly and helpful. The gym is open 24 hours, which is a great bonus. Parking is a little expensive, but that is expected for a hotel in the city centre. You will need to park a 2 to 3 minute walk from the hotel in a very secure car park. Make sure you visit reception first and scan the QR code for 40% off parking, as it is definitely worth the saving. You can also pull up outside the hotel to drop off your bags and scan the code. The rooms show a small amount of wear and tear, but they offer good value for money and I had an excellent night’s sleep. I would happily stay here again. Plus point, the lobby area is very stylish and welcoming for a drink in the evening.”

“We had a leftover experience voucher and decided to blow it on a cocktail masterclass seeing as we love our cocktails so much. The venue appears as definitely a younger person’s bar and we’re not! But that didn’t matter one bit and every single member of staff was upbeat and friendly and genuinely pleased to greet and serve us. Our mixologist master was Max and he was awesome! Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and all round great fun. He took us through the basics, taught us to mix our own drinks (which was huge fun!) and answered all our questions (including converting ml to oz!). We had an amazing time and I thoroughly recommend it - young and old!”

“I had an amazing experience at The Botanist Reading as part of a team-building event! The food was outstanding - I started with the Hanging Kebabs with Halloumi Cheese, which was grilled to perfection, and the Hummus was creamy and delicious. For dessert, the Cookie Dough was rich and indulgent. The atmosphere was lively and relaxed, with great service. Highly recommend The Botanist Reading for a fun and memorable team-building event or dinner with friends!”

“I sometimes stay at the caversham crown plaza and always head over to the River Spice. Absolutely superb, beautiful food, the mixed grill is just mouth watering. Highly recommended!”

“A friendly welcome and great atmosphere greets you at the Pub and Grill at Village Farnborough. The menu is great with lots of selection. A full bar including cocktails too. There is also dart boards for some games. A great space to grab a bite and meet friends or take the family”

“A really large, enjoyable pub right next to Reading Station. Seating inside and out. A wide range of drinks and meals are available. Service is average, and can be slow when it's busy. Toilets are large and well kept. The decor is excellent with plenty of nods to the station and trains. Well worth a visit, particularly if you are leaving the station and have time. The only downside is that it's quite pricey.”

“This is my first time at TGI Fridays and I have to say it was a very pleasant experience, the food was priced perfectly and the portions were a good size as well. The staff here were very kind and helpful with everything, they also were very speedy with getting our food out. Food quality was very tasty and looked very appealing. I would definitely come back here again.”

“We had such a great evening at TGIs! The food was absolutely delicious, but what really made the evening was the amazing service. Jasmine looked after us and she was brilliant - she took our rather annoying, picky order with a massive smile, and the food arrived perfectly. She cottoned on that it was our daughter’s birthday, and made a lovely fuss of her. I haven’t been to TGIs for a long time, but we’ll be back soon for sure!”

Very clean, bar on site, excellent home made meals and live music in evenings. We will definitely be staying again!! We had two cocktails each person, really impressed with how they use fresh fruits rather than fruity syrup - do try their specials!”

Aaron makes the yummiest drinks. Happy hour is great (we could afford nice cocktails as backpackers!) and would recommend to anyone I know.”

Love the amazing atmosphere, drinks are a great price, the staff look after you so well, from the door staff, bouncers, bar staff and I was served by Caitlin a few times. She really goes above and beyond when looking after people, and also got me water when I needed it. Would definitely visit again.”

“I am rating this pub 5-star because it is very special and reluctantly because it would be spoiled by convoys of Chelsea tractors pitching up en masse. Best to walk or cycle there to fully appreciate its attraction. The local beer is excellent and and the food most tasty if you’re hungry ... it’s very basic i.e. just what you want to soak up the authentic atmosphere.”
