“At Monsoon this evening, the team truly redefined what service means in a dining experience. It’s rare these days to find such a genuine sense of hospitality, and it was quite refreshing. The staff worked seamlessly together, creating an inviting atmosphere where you could tell they genuinely cared about making every guest feel special. Abu, who looked after us throughout the night, made us feel like more than just customers—by the end of the evening, he felt like a friend. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu were impressive, and his recommendations were spot on. You could see how much pride he took in presenting the dishes, a sign of a restaurant that truly values its own food and its customers too. The food arrived quickly, hot and delicious, reflecting the precision and coordination of a well-oiled team. The quality of the dishes was exceptional, making it clear that this is a place worth returning to. It’s been one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in quite some time, and we’ll definitely be back.”

“As expected, the food here was excellent. The steaks were cooked well and the seafood was tender. You do have to pay extra for fries which can make it quite expensive, but it's worth it. After the meal, we were surprised with a slice of cheesecake for the birthday girl which was an unexpected treat. We really appreciated the gesture. The servers were excellent and very friendly, but the gentleman behind the bar came across as a bit standoffish. Definitely worth a visit if you fancy a treat.”

“My local curry restaurant. I highly recommend that you try this place if you like curry and you live in the reading area. Quite possibly the only reason to come to burghfield unless you live here or you've got lost looking for somewhere else. The onion bhajis are excellent to start. The mixed grill main course is a family favourite and I'm slowly working my way through their other dishes - so far, all good. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent.”

My other half has collected a couple of takeaways before hand but today I saw the restaurant they have - it’s beautiful! The food is second to none. I genuinely have never tasted Indian food like it in the UK! Will be a regular customer from now on.”

“Gilbey's is a lovely hotel situated above a small restaurant in the heart of Eton just a 20 minute walk from Windsor Castle. We stayed in a beautifully decorated room with an equally lovely ensuite shower room and the most comfortable bed I've slept in. The staff at Gilbey's were very polite, friendly and helpful throughout. We opted for a full English breakfast which is an additional cost and served in the restaurant and it was worth every penny. The food was of an excellent quality and tasted amazing. We would most definitely stay here again.”

“I came here with my friend for her birthday with her little girl as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is amazing especially the desserts. The restaurant area is small so I imagine booking would be a good idea at busier times.”

“I cannot recommend Biryani Boyzz enough! The food was absolutely amazing full of flavour and perfectly cooked. We were even given more food than expected, on the house, which was such a generous touch. From start to finish, everything was flawless. Communication was excellent, and they even allowed us to sample the food beforehand, which really showed how much they care about their customers. Faisal and Ibrahim were incredibly accommodating, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Their customer service is truly 10/10. Not only was the catering top quality, but the pricing was also very reasonable for the standard provided. Honestly, they are probably the best Asian caterers in Reading. I’ll definitely be using Biryani Boyzz again for future events and will be recommending them to everyone. Thank you for making everything perfect!”

“Really enjoyed my burger the other day. Great having the choice on how you want it cooked and really loved the onion rings. Staff were great too. Can’t remember his name but the tall older manager was great and really knew the menu and made a great recommendation.”

“Takeaway Burrito. Really impressed. The burrito was a great size with loads of filling options. I went for chicken with coriander rice; pico and sweetcorn salsa with some spicy sauce and it was spot on. Fresh, tasty and properly filling. Fair price too at around £8.50. Will definitely be back.”

“Visited Buensado for a family dinner and were thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent, with perfectly cooked steaks and great attention to detail. “Soooo happy I found this place today. I was missing Kerala food and this hit the spot. We had the masala dosa, the masala Vada and gobi Manchurian with tea and fresh juice. Yummy fermented goodness. My soul is happy.”

“Although I can’t vouch for the authenticity, I can for the quality of food, the flavours and value for money! Until I ate here, I had no clue about Tamil cuisine. I love different versions of gobi Manchurian and this one did not disappoint. Came out fast, great texture and a wonderfully fiery sauce. I love variety so ordered the Madras Thali. Roti & appalam (papad), lassi and a great selection of veggie dishes and rice pilau, then a nice dessert. Everything was full-flavoured and well executed with good spice levels right up my alley. First time with Poriyal with an unknown veggie with a texture like pumpkin but looked like brinjal or plantain. Really loved what I would call a kind of mushroom pakora, nice touch. Not expensive, lovely lady server. Tried to engage with management to ask more about this cuisine, but they seemed distracted elsewhere. I love that it opens at 10am for an early lunch. I’d love to come back and try the dosas.”

“We went for lunch as we had our granddaughter for the day and loved the "kids eat free in the holidays" deal. The food is always delicious and portions generous. Thank you for looking after us Gabbie, you were fabulous, and we appreciated your patience when a five year old bossy boots was listing what she wanted for her dessert. If you've got the app there's always more treats and deals so it's well worth downloading before you go The Marry Me Rigatoni was a triumph and my Caesar Salad one of the best I've ever had. “We enjoyed eating at the Reading Room last night. The whole experience was amazing. It wasn’t our first time there, so I’m happy the standard is consistently high. The food was delicious and looked beautiful. The staff were very professional and although they were always nearby, it didn’t feel awkward. The dinner finished with a really sweet, personal touch - couple of chocolates on a plate with a sign „happy anniversary”. I highly recommend the restaurant.”

“A gem of a place! Beautiful, little cosy restaurant with lovely food and lovely staff. We ordered Nepalese Chicken curry, Fulka Rotis, Chilli Momos and Saag Palak. The food was yum. Everything was very fresh and tasted authentic. We also tried their Gurkha Beer, which was surprisingly smooth and light. The chilli momos could have been a bit more spicy though, but still good. The staff were very warm and welcoming. We had a delightful experience. Definitely recommend.”

“My husband and me went to celebrate his birthday. Food was lovely and good portions. I really like the character of the place. All waitresses were friendly. I have asked them to write on my husband dessert "Happy birthday " and they did it with an extra unexpected birthday singing. They were lovely! We absolutely satisfied with everything.
