“Highly recommended. We enjoyed salt and pepper chicken, wontons, pancake rolls, satay chicken, crispy duck, stir fried vegetables. The set meals are so filling and great value for money. The staff here were attentive and friendly. The 'robot' delivery service is great fun too.”

“Ordered takeaway from here on Saturday lunchtime. Delivery was really quick, less than half an hour. Staff were friendly, called me to confirm order. Food was really good, nice amount of veg mixed in, you don't always get that. Great to know a good local Chinese.”

“We had the most incredible food! The dishes that we ordered were Beautiful and so full of Flavour! The Chef worked hard on his Menu and you can definitely tell, it is Fantastic! The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the food that you are eating. We explained our Intolerance and an Allergy and we were reassured that the dishes that we wanted were safe after checking with the Chef. Photo of Menu and various dishes are below. “Had a couple of issues, got in touch with the restaurant via their website and the lady phoned me and the issue was sorted out. Very happy with the outcome and fact I received a call back. Would highly recommend this restaurant, just a heads up if you like sauce with your dishes eg, sweet and sour chicken, just write in the note section 'extra sauce' as it was quite dry.”

“I discovered an amazing biryani restaurant in Reading, offering various Indian and Pakistani dishes. You can choose from: •⁠ ⁠Roti (flatbread) •⁠ ⁠Sabzi (vegetables) - veg and non-veg options •⁠ ⁠Delicious biryani (my personal favorite) Prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for everyone.”

“Good food across the board. Nice staff with timely service. Much appreciated. Fun quirk: Gandhi was strictly a teetotaler and anti alcohol. His birth state has banned alcohol for this reason. In the restaurant the non-alcoholic options were scarce. Not quite Gandhi in that aspect.”

“The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is excellent, all came out really hot and so so tasty. There are plenty of plant based options, gluten free options etc and they will happily make changes to suit. Full English breakfast again was awesome. We had an excellent stay and will definitely be coming again. Excellent value for money”

“I was staying in the Premier Inn last Wednesday/Thursday night and every morning when I came in for breakfast the young lady always greeted me with a smile and was very friendly. You could see she was rushed off her feet as she was working alone when everybody was all coming in at once. She always put the customers first and despite her other colleagues watching her instead of helping her. She work really hard and even managed to say bye to me as I was walking out the door. Great services by Natacha despite being on her own.”

“Amazing staff! Thank you for the excellent service and support during our stay at Holiday Inn. As an IHG Club member, I truly felt appreciated. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, making our stay very comfortable. Dinner was excellent — the sea bass was especially vibrant, fresh, and delicious. My family was so happy with the food and service. Breakfast was also impressive, with a wide spread to choose from. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we look forward to staying again.”

“Great location in the centre of Reading. The staff are friendly and helpful. The gym is open 24 hours, which is a great bonus. Parking is a little expensive, but that is expected for a hotel in the city centre. You will need to park a 2 to 3 minute walk from the hotel in a very secure car park. Make sure you visit reception first and scan the QR code for 40% off parking, as it is definitely worth the saving. You can also pull up outside the hotel to drop off your bags and scan the code. The rooms show a small amount of wear and tear, but they offer good value for money and I had an excellent night’s sleep. I would happily stay here again. Plus point, the lobby area is very stylish and welcoming for a drink in the evening.”

“Such an amazing experience. Right in the heart of Reading. Shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The beds were so cozy they were hard to get out of in the morning. The staff was always fun and helpful and upbeat!!! Not just one member, it was everyone I came in contact with. You absolutely can not beat the price per night!!”

“Lovely two nights stay at the Caversham Bridge. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good with a great choice. All the staff were very friendly and attentive.”

“We had a leftover experience voucher and decided to blow it on a cocktail masterclass seeing as we love our cocktails so much. The venue appears as definitely a younger person’s bar and we’re not! But that didn’t matter one bit and every single member of staff was upbeat and friendly and genuinely pleased to greet and serve us. Our mixologist master was Max and he was awesome! Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and all round great fun. He took us through the basics, taught us to mix our own drinks (which was huge fun!) and answered all our questions (including converting ml to oz!). We had an amazing time and I thoroughly recommend it - young and old!”

The food was outstanding - I started with the Hanging Kebabs with Halloumi Cheese, which was grilled to perfection, and the Hummus was creamy and delicious. For dessert, the Cookie Dough was rich and indulgent. The atmosphere was lively and relaxed, with great service. Highly recommend The Botanist Reading for a fun and memorable team-building event or dinner with friends!”

“Great meal. My girlfriend and I had a really lovely time in the morning having a full English breakfast. Nice big menu and you can customise pretty much anything you want even though the sign says you can't but the staff said you can which is a bonus.”

“We had our breakfast at Yaadgaar in Reading, and it was absolutely amazing! We tried the Aloo Wala Paratha and Halwa Puri, and both were full of authentic flavor. The taste and service were outstanding , everything was fresh, delicious, and served with a smile. Definitely one of the best places in Reading for a proper desi breakfast. Highly recommended!”

“It's always a pleasure to visit my favorite spot, Nando's. The succulent chicken pieces are simply mouth-watering, packed with flavor and grilled to perfection. One of the perks that makes dining here even better is the 20% discount they offer to key workers, which is much appreciated. On this visit, we opted for the mains—half a chicken and a rice bowl with extras, including grilled chicken and avocado. The taste was as delightful as ever, but one noticeable change was the size of the chicken breast, which seemed smaller than before. Despite that, the food remains top-notch, and the vibrant, casual atmosphere of Nando's keeps us coming back.”

“First time having food from these guys. I am a coach driver and was stuck at a school all day and had no lunch so ordered through just eat app. Food came really quick, was piping hot, bottle of drink was lovely and cold (best bit as very hot in full uniform sat in sun). It was absolutely gorgeous food as well, way better and cheaper than other 'main' brands. Will definitely use again if out this way again anytime.”

“Great spot for Sunday lunch. Quite reasonable prices too for families considering that kids under 12 can eat for free. The roast beef was cooked nicely without being overdone and the Yorkshire pudding was suitably moist. There's outside seating when the weather is good and a small but serviceable wine list.”
