“The hall was hired for iaido training. Really nice venue. Clean and tidy changing rooms and toilets. And the toilets are separate ! I really despise having toilets in the changing room. The hall was clean. The manager did that she had cleaned it with the machine before we got there. And as it is only a 2 hour drive from Birmingham I will happily drive there for more courses.”

“The Travellers Rest is a hidden gem that combines a cosy, welcoming atmosphere with great value for money. Whether you're after a quick drink or a hearty meal, this place delivers on all fronts. The drinks are reasonably priced, with a good range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The food came out quickly, but still tasted fresh and well-prepared — a pleasant surprise, as "fast pub food" doesn't always have the best reputation. Not here though — no upset stomachs, just genuinely enjoyable meals. I had a generous portion of crispy chicken, which was perfectly cooked. My partner ordered the Caesar salad and said it was one of the best she’s had. The overall portion sizes were more than satisfying. The atmosphere was relaxed, with background music at a comfortable volume, making it easy to enjoy a conversation. The location is easy to get to, and there’s plenty of parking available, which is a big plus. All in all, The Travellers Rest is a great spot for casual dining and drinks. We'll definitely be returning.”

“Sam's choreography and teaching for our wedding dance went great, she was fabulous! It was 100% worth doing a choreographed first dance and, although nerve-wracking, removed the awkward swaying we would have done! We were surprised by how much we achieved in just 3 lessons! We had loads of fun and haven't seen any videos but we think it went really well. Thanks to All Steps for putting us in touch with her and being clear and straight forward through the process.”

We believe 3mx Childcare, under Sandy and Bobby’s care, is an excellent early years setting, and we are genuinely thankful for the strong foundation they’ve given our daughter as she moves on to school.”

“Highly recommend aspects of dance, local to us and everyone is so kind and welcoming. my daughter loves going to ballet and as it’s only a 30mins class, it’s perfect duration for her to enjoy and not get bored. A bonus is that they get a little sweet treat after the class which the kids do look forward to.”

“I’ve been part of the Reading dance scene for over 21 years, and joined Urban Stylez nearly 4 years ago. They’re one of the very best in Berkshire for true foundations in street styles - especially locking, popping, house, lite feet, old school hip hop and breaking (plus the occasional workshops in Afro, waacking, and more over the years). If you want to learn it right, learn it here. Their competition credentials speak for themselves. Not only that, you get all the endorphins you need from this feel-good group. You aren’t moulded into a carbon copy of each other or the teacher/s, you’re can bring your individual style whilst respecting the foundations/origins of the style. Plus every dancer in whole company can take part in their annual show without audition. I’ve especially loved learning from Jenna in the advanced adult class on a Monday for the last few years. I’ve seen the improvement and can bring that through amongst the other Reading dance companies I perform/take class with. (They also actively encourage learning from wherever you can).”

“Our kids love this nursery and we love it too! Everything is really well organised and things seem to run very well. It's a safe place- both physically and emotionally. Every member of staff (even in other parts of the nursery) know our children and give them a lot of care and attention. The location and facilities are incredible- our kids are outside so often and there is such a variety of things they can do indoors and outdoors. The information provided to parents is excellent and the nursery goes above and beyond to engage us. Over the two years we've had our children here, we have found no reason to complain about anything! We have two children at Chiltern. Our eldest joined at the age of 2, in Sep 2022 and went straight into the big kids' class (Bees). Our youngest was in the baby class for a year (Glastonbury) and is now in the bigger kids' class (Elizabeth). The staff at all three classes and the management have been brilliant the whole time. Our children are thriving here!”

“My daughter has been at this nursery for just over two years, starting off in the baby room. While there have been some expected staff changes the care has consistently exceeded my high hopes. She is not only kept safe and well educated, but given all the affection she could want and loves going into nursery each weekday morning. It is an extremely positive, welcoming, and supportive environment and she loves having a close-knit set of peers to engage with. Every carer has been wonderful with her, there is a genuine concern for her well-being from them. Her key carers build very special relationships with her and us. The educational lessons vary widely from foreign languages to sports to practical cooking skills, and she has thrived under the high level of stimulation and learning. We initially felt very guilty leaving her there each workday but it has turned out to be the best thing to stimulate and develop her and give her the best possible preparation for formal schooling and life.”

“Playing competitive tennis puts my back under a lot of strain and I've been looking for someone locally that can help release the tension but also put together a plan of action to keep myself pain free in the future. Ben has been fantastic so far, and even after 1 session my back is feeling great. She really understands how the body works and her expertise in this area is outstanding, I felt I was in great hands all the way through the session. All the team are such lovely people and always make you feel welcome. You’ll soon feel like part of the family. I absolutely love that you can join the practice session on a Friday and also go to their fabulous events throughout the year. It’s a great way to make new friends and keep fit!”
