“I usually don’t write reviews, but this time I would like to share my experience as I am amazed by the customer service and product I have purchased from them. The corner sofa is comfortable and very well looking in our living room. The salesperson was very helpful and patient. The waiting delivery time was not too long and arrived even early than expected. From the beginning till the end, everything was fine. They came on the agreed time, set up our sofa and cleaned after themselves. I definitely will recommend them and will purchase from them again!”

“Great atmosphere in an old building in the heart of Sheffield. Huge selection of beers and ciders. We were there on a quiet Monday evening but they still put on live music - a three-piece jazz/blues band. Highly recommend if you're in the city centre and fancy tasting some unusual brews.”

“What a stunning place this is. The decor is tasteful, subtly lit, but not too dark. The staff were attentive and not in your face at all (very much appreciated). Our large group ordered a variety of things from the menu, but we all received our food at the same time. I ordered the red Thai curry, which was unbelievably nice. I'll definitely order it again on our return. All in all a very good experience and somewhere we'd definitely recommend and definitely visit again.. Sean.”

“We had already previously stayed at The Lions. Absolutely immaculate, a very warm greeting. Pablo and John go above and beyond to make sure your stay is first class. They do an excellent job. Excellent full English breakfast, too. Because the weather was good, we had breakfast outside, and they set their garden furniture beautifully. Their garden is stunning, like a country garden from a magazine. Peaceful and so very pretty. The Lions is perfectly located to get into town or surrounding areas.”

“We recently ordered a bed from Ashton and Coleman. They kept us updated throughout the process and delivered it on our preferred day & time as we are local. The staff kindly put the bed up for us so quickly! Would reccomend to anyone and will definitely be buying for them again in the future.”

“We are really happy we choose Square Kitchens based at Ponsford, Sheffield, to design & fit our new kitchen & utility area. Our kitchen was completed in December 2024, but we waited a while before submitting this review, just to see if there were any issues that needed attention after the install, but everything has been fine. Jen helped us with all aspects of the kitchen design and nothing was too much trouble for her from start to finish. The building/electrical/plumbing work & fitting were all done to a very high standard and small changes/requests along the way were incorporated to give us our ideal kitchen. We can thoroughly recommend Square Kitchens at Ponsford if you want a quality kitchen.”

Always responsive on email with long replies and updates, even contacting me outside business hours! Their commitment to the kits I ordered was amazing- they offered to help me with the design work. The kits were also finished 2 weeks before I thought they'd be done. Incredibly helpful every step of the way and will definitely be using again in the future.”

The coffee is first rate, my toasted tea cake was excellent and they had some lovely gluten free fruit loaf. The decor alone is worth a visit and the prices are cheap compared to the well know chain coffee shops.”

“Had our new Kutchenhaus kitchen and dining room installed earlier this year, and what a fabulous experience we had.. From the initial store visit and design session with Siobhann, through to a faultless installation everything was perfect, and to plan. Siobhann really challenged us on our requirements and was able to show us pretty much everything in store. We used the recommended fitter, Sam, who was brilliant, who came over for a pre install visit to ensure we had all the additional lighting and sockets we needed, he was excellent from the day the kitchen was delivered, to the final fit. Once the kitchen was delivered Sam arranged everything, including the plasterer and electrician, all shared Sam’s professional and thorough approach. I would recommend Kutchenhaus Newark if anyone is looking for a top quality kitchen experience. I attached a couple of photos of the ‘old’ kitchen for comparison.”

“Benny's Barber Club is the new venture by the area's best barber (not in doubt), Benny Meyrick. It's a lovely new barber shop directly opposite the market place where Benny and James deliver the best haircuts in Southwell at competitive prices. Highly recommended.”

“Friendly and attentive staff, amazing tasting food and not hard to get to. Would highly recommend. We ordered: Starters - Tzakziki, Hummus (both come with traditional Iranian bread) & Dolmeh Mains - Chenjeh (with skin on fries to share) & Spring Chicken (with Zeresk Polo Rice to share) Recommend saving some of the dips from the starter to enjoy with your mains! We went just after Sheffield Wednesday finished their game (it is next to Hillsborough Stadium), but found no issue with transport as it is close to the tram stop. Overall, a great experience!”

No pressure to buy from S2Sofas, just left to browse and if I needed help they were there to do so. Fantastic quality sofas and chairs. Made my purchase and delivery was carried out by Perry and Will. Two young men who carried out the delivery flawlessly. “We love popping into the magic sunflower, so when planning our wedding we knew we would love them to make our cake. The did a wonderful job, it was beautiful and very yummy.
