“Went for the first time to this family run business after a recommendation & reading reviews. This is the best kebab we have ever had. We ordered one chicken & one doner kebab. The amount of meat we got & the quality was outstanding. The sauces were amazing especially the chilli. The best chilli sauce ever. Now onto the staff. So pleasant & friendly. These guys deserve your business. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed. We are definitely returning.”

“Lovely little courtyard bistro, discovered as we walked through from the car park towards the castle. Decided to pop in for a coffee and some lunch. Lovely coffee, great service. We chose a tuna sandwich and salad which was really tasty and a chicken wrap with chips. Both enjoyed our meals and it's a lovely little bistro.”

“Been to plenty of Italian restaurants and this is certainly one of the finest and most authentic. Service was first class, Antonio I believe his name was, he was very attentive without being overbearing. He was very kind and memorable. Food was clearly made with high quality ingredients that represented Italy in its finest form, food was fairly priced compared to the top quality we received. Wine was cold, which seems like a normal thing but sometimes it can come warm, not in this case, perfect temperature. Atmosphere was really nice, it's not often I feel the need to take photos of the decor and surrounding areas but this place was truly unique and eye catching, whilst being very home like. Perfect balance. Overall I am very impressed and if I return to Chesterfield again I will surely visit this spot. Please give it a go, Antonio truly deserves all the business. Highly recommend.”

“My partner and I are regular customers here and what a Lovely sandwich bar it is. Plenty of choice from a bacon butty to homemade hot dishes (quiches, lesangne) to salads, that are very tasty. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the place always looks spotlessly clean. Highly recommend that you call in and support this hidden gem. Keep up the good work guys and gals.”

“To say it’s a small pub, they offer a wide range of beers & ciders and at a really good price! Probably the best priced in the area(Whittington moor) I can imagine this place having a really good atmosphere on a match day but unfortunately not the same at 1pm on a Friday. But overall it’s a lovely pub with comfortable seating and a decent beer garden with plenty of seats available outside too. You can vape inside too, big plus for some…”

“Came here to dine on the way home and boy was I surprised the service is excellent polite courteous and helpful there is a range of drinks available including a nice selection of non alcoholic drinks that are very reasonably priced then the food they have a beautiful menu with a very nice vegan selection the pizzas are fresh with fresh toppings and beautifully cooked and presented all in all the best pizza place iv found in Chesterfield and surrounding areas a definite spot to come and dine also the prices are very good considering the quality of the food Hi all well new place but just as good if not better than I remember awsome service fabulous food just an amazing time the staff are super nice all the ingredients are fresh and taste delicious and the pizza was Cooked to perfection well worth a visit whether your on your own a couple wanting a romantic meal or a party it's a great time with amazing food”

“Met a friend here and it was the first time I've been in the week. I had one of the hub/lunchtime meals, cheese and ham lasagne with lovely fresh salad and homemade coleslaw. It was so good! It filled me up for the rest of the day. Highly recommend”

“Have been told its one of the best pubs in Chesterfield so we decided to give it a try. Well worth the trip. They offer a special lunch menu during the week, either 2 main meals for £23 or Any burger get a second for and additional £4.95. We tried the burgers. From bacon, crispy onion rings , to chorizo, black pudding ,pullled pork and even spar ribs off the bone their selection is amazing. They were cooked to perfection. My stilton cheese burger had 2 patties Char grilled, with stilton cheese premelted dripping down the patties. With onion marmalade and all the trimmings on a brioche bun. Seriously the best burger for miles. The other dishes we saw coming out looked as inviting but for me I ll be back to try some of the other burger crearions. Too good to miss out on.ps. we did go back and had the K pop chicken burger, it was divine! Photo below.”

“Delicious food and always great beer here. The staff are lovely and the buildings are beautifully kept both inside and out. Outside, there's a nice beer garden and a covered wooden decked area which is lovely on a summer's evening with the "Crooked Spire" of Chesterfield visible in the distance. The log burner makes the inside toasty in the colder months and the low ceilings, oak beams and pretty lighting create a lovely atmosphere. The Blue Bell Inn is definitely worth a visit.”

Recently moved to clowne and we heard about dolphin and it did not dissapoint! Had the meal deal number 3, have to say for how tasty that fish was, how crunchy that batter was and how delicious those chips were it was absolute bang for your buck! 10/5 stars if i could!”

“We had a fabulous overnight stay at the Pebley Inn. It has a lovely deck outside overlooking the countryside, luckily we had a lovely autumn night to make the most of it. We were greeted at check in by the lovely Olivia, it was such a warm friendly welcome and she continued to look after us all night. We stay in a lot of pubs on our travels and don't normally get such amazing service. Food delicious. Beers kept well. Warm atmosphere in the pub. Room well equipped. The whole night was excellent.”
