“I visited here over the weekend, was extremely busy, and waited approximately 20 mins. It was 100% worth it, staff were very friendly, greeted with a warm smile upon entrance. “Have visited this place many times over the years. Usually for dinner, this time I was just passing at lunch time and decided to pop in for something to eat. On the entrance side its a takeaway and and the right hand side its a restaurant with table service. I ordered one of my old favourites the Adana Kebab, the service and food were spot on. The restaurant became quite busy while I was sitting there with bookings and walk in customers. Good to see this place is thriving .”

“The Botanist in Sheffield is hands-down our go-to spot for a perfect date night. My boyfriend and I come here all the time, and it never disappoints. We always start with the camembert, and honestly, it’s unbeatable. For mains, we can’t resist the chicken burger. It’s consistently amazing. You can tell the kitchen really cares about quality. The service is always outstanding too. The staff are so friendly, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcome. Add in the gorgeous atmosphere and it’s just the perfect place to relax and enjoy great food.”

“Reserved a table for 5:30, rang at 5:30 to say we’d be late (due to traffic) & they were very understanding and completely fine with this. We arrived 15/20 minutes late and was taken straight to our table. Nathan was our server and was an absolute gem the whole time we were there. Was very accommodating and great with the kids too. Helped make my sons evening by bringing out cake and candle singing happy birthday. Food was delicious and kept on top of, nothing in short supply. As a whole, our evening was very enjoyable. Shoutout to Priscilla and Nathan for helping make our night a good one. Thankyou”

“This is by far the best ever Chinese me and my husband have ever had, it's not just one thing that is outstanding here it's everything between the staff being absolutely amazing and welcoming, to the food that is just something you can't get out of your head, then the atmosphere of the place is spot on nice and open with a cozy atmosphere and finally the price well let's just say eating in or out the food is amazingly priced if you eat in it is slightly cheaper and with it being all you can eat well it's a no brainer, between all of this it all keeps me and my husband coming back.”

“Clean, comfortable, easily accessible hotel with ample parking. The room was a little hot, due to no AC, however a large fan was provided which helped a lot. The restaurant next door has reopened, although I didn't use it on this visit. The stand out point for me, was the staff! We had travelled from Devon, for my partner to have major surgery at Northern General Hospital, and an, otherwise, stressful visit was made bearable by the care & compassion of every member of staff I met; they went above & beyond to check that I had everything I needed and that I was OK & enquired daily about my partner (he's recovering well). I'll be back to stay again when I return to bring him home. THANK YOU!”

“If I could give this place more stars I would as it in my opinion deserves it. Very friendly reception staff. Wheelchair accessible throughout the entire building. . The room is very clean and made up well with coffee and tea facilities. Rooms are cleaned for you daily with fresh bedding and towels. The bathroom is amazing and modern with a lovely power shower. Included in the price is a free breakfast whether you want a cooked breakfast or a choice of cereals and fruit, plus free coffee or fruit juice and you can eat as much as you wish to. It has a well stocked bar along with a extremely high quality menu at a very reasonable price. Plus a choice of snacks should you miss the restaurant times. All in all the Holiday Inn Express in Sheffield far surpasses its 3 Star rating and I will definitely be staying there again and I would highly recommend it for both families and romantic couples . Thanks for a lovely weekend away........”

“Myself and my partner went for a lovely afternoon in Bakewell with the dogs and decided to have lunch at the H Bar and Restaurant. We were all pleasantly welcomed at the door and offered refreshment whilst we were left to look over the menu. The food was fresh and well presented, My partner had the mini fish and chips and I selected the halloumi burger, the fish was fresh and the home cooked chips were very tasty and the burger was delicious, after our meal we decided to move to the outside tables to enjoy the sunshine and finish with dessert and coffee, the staff were friendly and attentive, the whole experience was excellent and definitely good value for money, I look forward to a return visit.”

“If I were you I'd be very suspicious of poor reviews for this place. Have been about half a dozen times in the last year and the food is REALLY good. The buffet is exceptional for quality & choice. And I grew up in Bradford where the quality is mostly high across the board as the locals demand it. This place is up there but don't whinge about it being spicy - it's real Asian food made freshly with real spices!!!”
