“I had to take my boy skip to the lincoln branch this morning to send him on his final journey. I was a total mess. The receptionist took me straight into a room with skip and the head vet, Sam, came straight through to see me. He was kind and compassionate and treated both me and skip with the utmost respect and dignity. He made the whole process much more bearable and once it was over they left me to grieve with skip for as long as I needed. When it came to the financial side of things it was far less expensive than I was expecting. I had never used this surgery before but I would highly recommend it.”

The receptionist made my appointment for the next day and was really friendly and very helpful. I love this vets practice they are the only people I take my cats to see because I know I will not be overcharged, the vets, nurses and all staff look after my cats as if they were their own. I have used this practice with all of my cats for various different reasons from neutering, euthanasia, and flea treatments ect. I never have to wait and they are the best !”

“Been with this vets on and off for several years now and all of the vets and nurses I've seen here are very kind, caring and professional. The receptionists are very good and will go out of their way to help with appointments and queries. The Practice Manager is very pro-active and can often be seen in the background supporting staff members in what can only be described as very busy and at times possibly stressfull enviroment for staff members. She is very passionate and caring and a strong manager. They are open 24/7 and their prices are very reasonable in comparison to other vets, although administration fees for dispensing medications can be around £16 per item, (bearing in mind that almost all vets charge this not just Barnsley Vets for pets) plus the cost of the medications, some of which can be bought online with a prescription for much less, there is a charge for prescriptions but they are very reasonable! So it's probably worth getting a prescription which is active for 6 months once prescribed, for things like worming and flea products or long-term medications. All in all this vets offers up-to-date treatments and are very caring and knowledgeble.”

I called evolution explained my situation and even though I was not registered with them I was told to bring him straight in. (Other vets have not been so kind).
