“Delicious cakes and the waitress was really helpful when we were looking for a whole cake for a birthday at very short notice. Highly recommended. Lovely that dogs are allowed in too”
“I’ve just had a very lovely breakfast at the Junction Cafe (KCC): the sausage bacon and egg were cooked to perfection, the baked beans and mushrooms were delicious. It also came with toast and leaves and tomatoes. All in all it was value for the £6 I paid. It also came with option to add bacon, sausages and eggs if required and I will be returning as often a time allows. Thank you all At the Junction. The junction has a large free car park and wheelchair access: a great venue”
“Hubby & I stopped for breakfast this morning at this great little community cafe. It was easy to find inside the very modern main building beside a large car park and with easy level access to the outside patio seating area. Inside tables were also available. The sun was out and there were plenty of people walking their dogs on the footpaths around what looks to be a a peaceful wooded area with plenty of nature trees. We ordered beans on toast, crumpets, and a pot of tea for two. The food was very good and we even had a top up in our teapot! Lovely! Great value for money at £8.90 :) Nice to meet you ladies, keep up the good work :)”
“Lovely ambience with warm seating inside a wing of the church or outside in the old graveyard. Lovely friendly service, excellent toasties, coffee/tea and cakes. Don't walk past!”
“Great food and super friendly service HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place”
“Amazing coffee and beautiful sandwiches. A wonderful local resource”
“Best coffee at southampton general (based in princess anne) always a warm smile and friendly service! Thank you for all the coconut vanilla lattes❤️”
“Lovely cafe with lovely staff. Easy to pop on before an appointment or to grab some last minute bits if you're in over night”
“A Great day out, cafe provides good food cooked to order. The brick museum is very informative, please there are loads of things you wouldn't think you would see. There is also a little train you can go on, if you add gift aid you get a free ride.”
“What a wonderful gem to find when we were looking for a spot of local breakfast. What really put the cherry on the proverbial cake was when the dog was welcomed inside with open arms! Toasted sandwiches and coffee was a very reasonable price, and the atmosphere really lends itself to being community café. The volunteer staff were very friendly, welcoming, and warm the same as the decor inside. Absoloutley recommend popping in for a drink and a bite for a most enjoyable lunch.”
“Totally fun young lady made cafes with a friendly smile and greeting before we took our train to London. Lovely, smart, and refreshing experience after a long day!! Many thanks! Lady from Tucson!”
“Great welcoming place. Just been to the new Scrabble/Board Games Group which started this afternoon. Fun, very relaxed, cuppa, chocolate brownie and good to meet people. Come along, meeting monthly at the moment (check website or call centre for future dates). Come along and give it a go!”
“I stopped in here while waiting for my car to get serviced. Very clean, tasty and well presented food, friendly service and great attention to detail. Thanks.”
“Wonderful menu of healthy options as well as delicious bakery items and hot food. Highly recommend the granola bowl - looks beautiful and tastes great. Generous portions! Dog friendly also. We had our two pups dine with us indoors. Quite small so there are limited tables indoors but we were able to sit as a table of six as we arrived at opening.”
“It was a dreadful wet windy and fairly chilly day but we had booked a gathering of friends and I had to go out! We had a warm welcome. Very good Christmas meal quickly served which was also good value for money. No roast potatoes kept hot for ages. These, together with lovely veg were hot and fresh. They also managed to sort our 11 bills separately with no hassle. I'd definitely go again”
“Great place to be fantastic food, many choice of breakfast as well as lunch dinner, friendly staff, simply amazing place to go..!”
“Great coffee and fresh croissants. Very cosy for Sunday morning coffee.”
“Unexpectedly Perfect! Thank you so much for my late drink done exactly to my taste ! Lots of goodies at the counter yum yum. Thank you for giving me directions to the nearest Sainsbury ! This coffee shop was recommended by my Shirley Ave dental practice,”
“I love this cafe. There is one member of staff who does my head in moaning all the time so I limit the number of times I go in on a Friday. Otherwise the staff are so kind and caring. They noticed I was upset the other day and they took the time to ask me if there was anything they could do and I said you cant bring my friend back but I would love one of your delicious bbq bacon burgers. Their burgers are so good I dont get them from Burger King or McDonalds i always get my burger at the boat shop. I also love their omelets and there ain't no better for a full english breakfast that is also disabled accessible as I am in a wheelchair and they always make space for me. I was sick once with my epilepsy and jean was on her way home she stopped to help me and I will always love her and be thankful for that. But it is nice to have somewhere nice to go when you like me and live on your own where you are welcome and safe to be there on your own. Enjoy a.lugh with the music on the radio because I'm a singer. Anna once said to me you can sing along but no getting on the tables. It was just fun and on that particular day I was having problems with my PTSD and my depression I went in and had a delicious meal and a laugh. I am always thankful for that. So even if like me you on your own ttavelling through it is literally 5 minutes walk from the train station at woolston so ideally located.”
“The place to go for coffee in Portwood. Certainly the best coffee, staff are very busy but do a good job. I guess the food is standard for this chain. I'm fond of the almond croissant and my granddaughter loves the rocky road. Always a buzzy atmosphere in my experience.”
“Just been here to kill some time whilst my car was been serviced, I’m not from the area so I wandered in with a gym bag. I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities for a modest sized gym. All new stuff and in a nice room. The reason for the review is the staff. I was clearly a guy wandering through, but I was helped with a padlock (I didn’t bring) and shown around. I use a lot of different gyms when I travel around, this is a nice little gem. Thank you to Brad, who help me get sorted. My car is ready earlier than I expected, so I’m just dropping a quick review. As good service deserves recognition”
“It was amazing. The Titanic area was very moving. The museum creates a great environment to explain and portrait it with the inquiry and everything. The employees were super nice. I loved it!”
“The Artisan in Southampton is a hidden gem for those who appreciate great food, coffee, and a cosy atmosphere. The café has a warm and inviting vibe, making it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The menu offers a fantastic selection of freshly made food, pastries, and artisan coffee, all prepared with high-quality ingredients. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. The interior is stylish, with a mix of modern and rustic décor that adds to the charm. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, brunch, or just a coffee, The Artisan is a great choice. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed and high-quality café experience in Southampton!”
“My third visit here in 7 years. I ordered the soup was was told it would be a 35 minute wait. The member of staff saw my disappointment and offered me a complimentary drink because I didn't have enough time to complete my stay. I was very impressed with the service and mulled wine.”
“We hired the upstairs of Audreys for my sister in laws hen party. Ruth went out of her way to accommodate us, regularly checking we were happy and if there was anything they could do to help. She even went out to Robert Dyas to buy a fan as it was an unseasonably hot day! She catered to our individual dietary requirements and i don’t think there was anything else she could have done to make it more of a success. The food was amazing and plenty of it (she even gave us boxes to take leftovers home). Highly recommend x”
“Absolutely love Matt’s Bakery and Coffee Corner! The food is delicious, prices are unbeatable, and the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. The amazing staff, smart women running the show - make every visit a joy. Friendly vibes, great value, and top-notch service all around!”
