βGreat to find a good range of Belgian beers, including several zero alcohol beers. Sadly, there was no bar food available when we were there. Very friendly staff. Live music in the courtyard made for a great atmosphere.β
βI found this place through Google review search. We arrived and was told they could not accommodate 4 of us inside. A very helpful lady sorted us out with a nice table right in the centre of the pub. We ordered and waited for a short time . We were not prepared for the portion size, we had fish, pie and chips, sausage and mash and the half rack of ribs. The ribs I swear came of the biggest pig in the peak District. Every thing was fresh hot and tasteful. It was amazing, I would not drive past this place. It is the real deal. After a day on the peaks this is the place for amazing atmosphere great fresh local tasteful food.β
βWatched live stream of the ballet Romeo and Juliet from Royal Ballet and Opera House. Fabulous! A great venue staffed by very helpful friendly volunteers . There is a bar and ice creams were sold at the first of three intervals. Our tickets cost a very reasonable Β£16.50. Have seen other ballets at this venue. I strongly recommend.β
βWe phoned 15 minutes before arrival and luckily were offered a table for 4 plus our dog. The staff were lovely and very attentive and the food was very tasty, especially the chocolate cheesecake. There was a really good selection of beers, wines and soft drinks. Some patrons were a bit loud but they werenβt there all the time so it was fine. It was a delightful surprise find.β

βExcellent value, outstanding service. Breakfast was super good. Wide choice, all cooked perfectly. Team Dee work well together, they made us feel very welcome and as a collective they have created a wonderful friendly environment welcoming people along with their dogs, the cafe spotlessly clean. All of this adds to a rich customer experience often sought but rarely archived. Last, location is perfect, canal side, places to walk and space to provide and accessible to allβ
