“An excellent venue, with well-tgought-out decor, a lovely ambience, great service and very good food. Well worth a visit. It's in the Manor House Hotel where they also have a spa and a swimming pool (apparently with a swim-up bar!) so you could tie the experience in with a getaway break. We didn't, we just ate, but it was a really nice place to go and reasonably priced, too.”

“Toffs is a wonderful cafe right in the middle of Hanley. It's got a gorgeous terrace facing south meaning you've got sun all day. I had a latte and a baklava, probably the best I had in my life. And the family who runs the business, they are the friendliest you can get - you won't get a better welcome and service anywhere near. Will certainly return.”

“Called in and ordered 4 takeaway Sunday Lunches. The pub was busy, but the staff were very friendly and accommodating.Had a drink whilst they were being prepared. They were well packaged, stayed warm in transit and tasted delicious.”

“We came across this pub after a day an Alton Towers, when we arrived we was greeted with lovely staff and atmosphere. Ordered some drinks and decided to stay for food. Ordered steak which was cooked to perfection. And a pork schnitzel which was full of flavour. Everything came out piping hot. Ordered 2 sausages for my daughter who doesn’t like peas and chips and they reduced the price for this reason. Lovely wine too. Couldn’t recommend this place anymore. Was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last!”

“Had a party for a retirement celebration. There were 14 of us and we complicated things with last minute changes to numbers due to sickness. Staff couldn’t do enough and everything went very well and smoothly. They re-set the table and made space for 2 prams for our newborn babies. Nathan was our allocated waiter and took the time to go over the changes to the pre orders, last minute changes and allergies to ensure they were all correct. Great food and service. Lovely atmosphere too. A wonderful afternoon.”

“That dessert was my joy, my sweetest prize, A symphony of flavours, a feast for the eyes. The lemon tart dazzled, sharp and bright, I saved the lemon top, my last delight. Raspberry sorbet burst, wild and alive, An explosion of taste, it made me revive. And not to forget, with broccoli in view, That steak was pure magic—perfectly too.”

“We went for a meal out on Father's Day. I've been twice now and it's definitely one of my favourite places to eat at. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food was incredible. You can tell that everyone there definitely have a lot of passion for what they do, as everything was perfectly cooked and presented like a piece of art.”

“Well well, this is a textbook definition of a hidden gem! Who'd have thought that a quality Indian restaurant exists in a quaint and nice village as Audley? I went for dinner with very low expectations, but I was in for a surprise. The starters we tried were Prawn Bhuna Puree, Shami Kebab (Lamb) & Chicken Malai Tikka - all 3 were cooked to perfection and the meat was succulent. Highly recommended going for the hot relish, as it's very unique and nice to taste. For main course we had Tandoori Chicken, which was served on a sizzling platter with sliced onions on the sizzling plate as well. The tandoori smell that permeated the restaurant in a lovely way was evident and present in taste in the tandoori chicken pieces; the curry accompaniment was also very good to taste, and very unlike the run off the mill curry sauce usually found at other Indian restaurants. The ambience was very relaxed, with lights just the right brightness, comfortable sitting arrangements, clean toilet. The servers were all warm and welcoming. Overall a very, very good experience and enjoyed a lovely meal at a nice restaurant without any added fuss or loudness after a long time. Totally recommend this to all, and will certainly be visiting more myself. This restaurant certainly seemed to deserve the accolades it shows in Google.”

“We've been coming here for years, and, after a very long hiatus (due to covid, a house move / a relocation), we decided to come back. I visited with my parents and my partner (from France), and the food was just as a good as I remembered - I had the korma and it was incredible! Yazz is simply lovely, and we had such a nice time. “I love this chippy, it's about as good as it gets and I've been going for as long as I can remember (if they were open in the 80's then for that long). Back when my grandparents were alive I use to go and get fish and chips for us all and then sit and talk to them around their kitchen table. Now we have moved up here I'm getting to do the same thing with my little family. Keep up the good work I love your fresh fish and chips and you have never once given bad service.”

“Can’t comment on the rooms as we didn’t stay. We stopped at The Huntsman as we were passing through Cheadle on the way home on a Sunday and were not disappointed. We were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to the lodge with lovely festive decor. The Sunday lunch was a generous size and was delicious! Our children had a wood fired pizza which was equally as delicious. Sad we didn’t get to stay for dessert due to time constraints but would definitely recommend to anyone passing through.”

“My wife and I have been on a major burger kick and visiting from USA. Saw this so stopped in and they treated us very well. Ordered a donut burger, chicken tenders, milkshake, chocolate nachos, and churros. All top shelf for a very reasonable price. We will be back especially for the desserts. Burger was delicious and all very well cooked food. I’ll give them a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend”
