“We booked Cancello for a family pre Christmas get together for 16 people. Booking was straightforward and they asked us to pre order starters and mains the week before. On arty the welcome was warm and the table prepared perfectly. Everyone’s individual choice was spot on and the quality of the food exceptional. We had 3 young children and a baby in our group, and the staff were lovely towards them. A great venue, lovely atmosphere and superb food. Highly recommended.”

“This place is fantastic from start to finish. We celebrated my 7-year-old's birthday here, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The wide selection of traditional Punjabi food is easily the best in the area. To top things off the all the restaurant sang Happy Birthday making it one to remember!”

“Probably our favourite restaurant in Teddington, and certainly our favourite Chinese restaurant in the area. Amazing food, and friendly service from the owner, Patrick. Cannot recommend Ho Me highly enough, but do recommend booking in advance as it’s only small and almost never has availability for walk-ins. Favourite dishes - Ma La spicy pot, fish fragrant aubergine, and sea salt aubergine!”

“Highly likely 1 of the best chippy's in Liverpool. It is in West Derby area and has been a very popular take away. It is attached to the Chinese restaurant and really is a nice place to go get your food. It is a very busy chippy and people come from miles around to order here. It doesn't do deliveries. It also doesn't take card, its cash only. However, I don't know of any Chippys in Liverpool that take card. The staff are different here, they are typical scouse woman who are fast on their feet, and on the go. They're friendly but busy, which can come across as off putting. However, when you deal with the public you expect to experience all types of personalities. No messing around or falseness, just genuine personalities, who get the job done to get you on your way to the feeding frenzy at home. I'd say the name of the chippy signifys why its name is what it is, as you do get jumbo size portions lol The FOOD IS ALWAYS SPOT ON and I most definitely recommend you try here.”

“A little diamond of a place. I've walked past her a million times and decided to have a date night here. I and my partner was not disappointed. In true Persian style you get a plate full of rice with most of the dishes. We had alcoholic drinks with a starter and two mains, the whole bill came up to just over 50 quid which was really impressive considering the amount of food available. It was ridiculously quiet here which is criminal considering the quantity and quality of the food. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'll definitely visit again. “I have been using L`Antico for many years, as have many of the faces I see there every week, In the last few months there have been a spate of Malicious reviews that seem fake as the description given for the restaurant does not match the actual restaurant. before that time the reviews are good Google have a responsibility to check the authenticity of these reviews and make sure they are from verified users most of the reviews in the last few months are from people that do not have a profile and have only made one or two reviews in most cases the second review is advertising a service of some kind I believe these reviews are fake and have been generated to damage a small family owned business the bad reviews started a few months ago some while the family were closed for their annual holiday below are a few examples and a correction of their description of the venue I could have put more corrections from that period but the text was to long for google reviews Marie Deniger asked for a quite area for 8 people, the restaurant is one big open plan room, she states she was seated next to the kitchen door , there is no door to the kitchen, the entrance to the kitchen is behind the bar, she states the chairs are plastic , the chairs are made of wood, she states that her uncle's soup was cold, but there is no soup on the menu, she says she ordered a birthday cake,as far as i know the restaurant does not buy in birthday cakes however I have seen customers bring special cakes in this type of occasion.(with the owner's consent) (description is inconsistent with the actual restaurant) Zacharie Gendoron states the carpet was stained and frayed, there is no carpet in the restaurant, he states the walls are faded, the wall are brilliant white (see website photo) he states that several lights were broken and flickering, there are no lights that are broken or flicker, he states he was seated at a table that was still dirty from a previous customer, i have spent a lot of time in the restaurant and as soon as a diner leaves the tables are cleaned and wiped and reset (description is inconsistent with the actual restaurant) again 1 review Dylan Rowley states The restaurant's interior looked tired and dated, with worn upholstery the photos of the restaurant on the website are up to date, he states he was uncomfortably cold. his review was from a month ago(height of summer) his description of the food is either to hot or to cold almost as if he had asked AI to generate a bad review, he also states that he had to wait 45 mins for his starter, i have never seen anyone wait more the 10mins for a starter, and that includes days when there is a Chelsea home fixture review from 1 month ago, again description is inconsistent with the actual restaurant Danyelle J Williams states she was seated in a cupboard next to a toilet, the restaurant is open plan you cannot sit next to a toilet you can however sit near a room that leads to the toilets you have to go in to a room separate form the dining area and then in to a toilet both doors would have to be open (main door is spring loaded to close, and then the diners would have to be silent then if you are lucky you might hear a flush, she states prices have increased i don't know one business that is immune from prices increases, she states the the pizza size has shrunk, i have had many pizza`s over the years they remain the same size they ever were, a pizza cannot have a cold top and a hot underside that's not how a pizza oven works ( unless you are having a topping added after it has been cooked like rocket) she states that her dessert never arrived, the dessert display is in the centre of the restaurant you can almost reach it with an outstretched arm the staff are always in the centre of the of the restaurant so this is unlikly, review from 1 month ago, again description is inconsistent with the actual restaurant visit L`Antico and see for yourself then write a verified review based on a real experience”

“Galaxy Cafe – A Cozy Spot with a Decent Veggie Breakfast I recently visited Galaxy Cafe and had a pleasant experience overall. We ordered the 2 Veg 1 item, which came with a nice combo of coffee, toasted bread, beans, 2 poached eggs, 2 veggie sausages, and 2 hash browns. The portion was satisfying and well put together. The taste was average—not extraordinary—but everything was cooked well and served warm. The veggie sausages and poached eggs stood out slightly in terms of flavor, and the toasted bread was nicely crisped. The coffee was a good companion to the meal, rounding out the breakfast feel. The place itself has a cozy, inviting vibe that makes it enjoyable to dine in. “Went for lunch here with my sister, would highly recommend. We had the scallops, king prawns, steak tartare and beetroot to start and all the dishes were well presented and packed with flavour. We then shared a ribeye with the gravy, cauliflower cheese and cabbage. We paired our food with dirty martinis and spicy mango margaritas. Absolutely flawless food and incredible drinks, we couldn’t fault it. We were looked after by the lovely Dan, who had the perfect balance of attentiveness without being overbearing. We felt really well looked after and was able to sit back, chat and relax. Thank you to Dan for ensuring we had the perfect meal. “Lovely welcoming and gorgeous food for our second time here. Small portions but delicious. I had steak and ale pie which came with mash but I wished I’d substituted the mash for beef tallow chips but I didn’t see them at the time of ordering. My partner had sea bass and fries (which were extra). You’d expect them to be included. The staff were accommodating with a birthday cake we took that with us that apparently we should have agreed with them beforehand but we didn’t know. We decided to go to the IVY the next day but wished we’d gone back to Brumus. The food was bland and generally awful. We were a party of 4 and we al enjoyer food.”

“Easily my favourite restaurant local to Tottenham Stadium up the road! — Highly recommend — I always visit before heading to any kind of event there afterwards. I discovered this place at the start of the year and have returned (4) times to-date since; each experience always consistent and more than impressing the mates I am introducing to it. (All of whom share my love for you guys now, might I add.) The only thing I’m not personally keen on here is the Bone Marrow (I only tried it for the first time EVER in my last actual visit, and it’s at no fault of the kitchen. I just didn’t personally enjoy it as a first-timer, but I can see why others definitely do. Especially the Sour Dough serving it comes with.) Highly recommend all the steak cuts, the Grilled Dynamite Prawns, & and literally all their iterations/riffs on Mojitos! As a suggestion - albeit a selfish one - perhaps upsell the Dynamite Sauce for the steaks too? Thank you guys again for the consistent, great service every time also.”

“It was a wonderful dining experience! I had never tried Venezuelan food before, and since this restaurant was close to where I was staying, I decided to give it a try. As a foreigner, it was hard for me to imagine what the dishes would be just by looking at the menu. The server was incredibly friendly, patiently explaining the dishes to me and even recommending some of their specialties. What touched me most was that he didn’t just recommend the most expensive items. Instead, he suggested dishes that were both unique and suitable for me. When I wanted to order more, he even considered whether I, as a solo female guest, might not be able to finish everything, and explained the portion sizes to me. But I still wanted to try everything! So I ordered an arepa to take away. The arepa with banana was absolutely amazing, such a delightful surprise! The service was thoughtful and warm, and the staff’s attitude made the whole experience even better. This is truly a great restaurant! I will definitely recommend it to my friends!”

“We went on 5th December before seeing Miss Saigon. It was very festive, all tables were taken and the atmosphere was joyous. The staff were excellent, one of our meals didn’t have enough chicken in it. As soon as we raised this with our waiter he apologised and solved the problem. More chicken was presented to our table in good time as we were all still eating. Very reasonably priced and good food for the centre of town and an excellent service”

“I've had bad experiences with some Caribbean food, but the visit to Egi's altered my perception. My cousin recommended that I visit if I'm ever nearby. We placed our order over the phone 30mins to arrival. The food was handed to us within 2mins. Went home to give it a try and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the portion and the food was superb. The grilled chicken and pork ribs with the rice and peas was great. Loved it and I will be back for more.”
