“Recently visited this hospital to drop off a staff, who had a long-day shift there. It's being managed by the Northern Health & Social Care Trust, & they provide a range of services, including Emergency services, urgent care, outpatient, inpatient, Day-care services, as well as a comprehensive medical & surgical services etc. What I observed during my short stay there; 1. Most of the staff are friendly & accommodating, always willing to help in their own little way possible. 2. The general cleanliness is commendable. Most of the places I passed through are sparkling clean. 3. They have good parking lots, mostly for disabled and those with kids etc. Highly recommended for people living around Antrim & it's environs.”

When my elderly father phoned last week, the receptionist not only dealt with his enquiry, but as she had seen that there was a note on his records requesting he speak to a GP, she very kindly suggested she would request a call back for him that day. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, unfortunately I can’t recall her name but the lady on reception with the enviably neat pony tail was fantastic. Not only was it cheaper when compared to other private tests in and around Belfast, it was quick and I never had to even follow up on anything. When one of my flights got cancelled, they promptly acknowledged and empathised with my situation and got my appointment rescheduled at the nearest place. The reception was polite and the entire process was just a breeze. Got an email notification when my sample reached the labs and got my results emailed to me within 6-7 hours (quicker than promised). I totally recommend this place if you want a travel test done.”

“Unlike others I've had an excellent time as an NHS patient with 352. I've always had my phonecalls answered within 3-5 rings by both switchboard and other staff. I did wait around 6 months to see a surgeon for a finger op, and a further 4 to get surgery but it was non-urgent so didn't mind. I've complex issues that the staff did everything to accomodate for me and they ensured I was kept informed with everything being undertaken whether at the clinic or with respect to the surgery. I was very fortunate to avail of an overnight room and found the staff/service fine. It was just a bit lonely given it's "PRIVATE" :) - so no facility to talk to any other patients but so long as you're prepared & bring enough to occupy yourself you can put the time in easily enough.”

“The hospital is a district general hospital with top notch care. I can vouch for the pediatric side of the hospital. The nursing staff is probably the best that you would find in the country. The doctors are an extremely dedicated team genuinely interested in the well being of the little ones. The facilities are at par with the best that can be expected from a hospital of this size. Great centre for the children with diabetes as well. Some seriously good work is being done here in all departments including cancer diagnosis, cytopathology, obstetrics medicine and mental health. Yes the A and E is overflowing but the team does their best to give relief to all attendees.”

“I left the below comment 4 years ago with 1 star, and it has changed and largely improved now by 2024. — If I could, I will give them (Dunlice Family Practice, known as Kelly Practice before) 0 star. I’ve been trying to book a vaccine appointment for a month and have to call them back continuesly every week/3 days, still got nothing. They can’t call you back with available appointments, and you can’t book appointments online neither. Every time I call them, they always seem so busy that they want to end the call ASAP. Come on, who’s not busy?! Never had this bad experience with any other GP before. I would recommend everyone to stay away from them, and I’m changing my GP. No more time to be wasted on them.”

“My Dad went to Cregagh Nursing home for respite care after being discharged from hospital. Initially I was concerned because of some previous reviews. However my Dad’s time here has proved times must have changed at Cregagh. The staff are all very welcoming and they create a very pleasant environment for the residents. The atmosphere in the home is relaxed, yet professional. Dad is quite a fussy eater but he enjoyed the food. His room was warm, clean and spacious. Dad’s physical recovery has been continual from his arrival here and now he’s ready to come home.”

“It is easy to find with very large signs outside. Modern, very professional. Very large seating area with plenty of natural light. Well stocked drinks and snacks machines. The coffee machine wasn't working, unfortunately. I waited for 30 minutes before a nurse checked me over. I had 2 ECG's, 3 blood tests and a chest X-ray inside the 9 hours before leaving. The blood tests took a minimum of 90 minutes to be processed, enough time to pop down to the shop for wraps, sandwiches and coffee.”
