βRecently visited this hospital to drop off a staff, who had a long-day shift there. It's being managed by the Northern Health & Social Care Trust, & they provide a range of services, including Emergency services, urgent care, outpatient, inpatient, Day-care services, as well as a comprehensive medical & surgical services etc. What I observed during my short stay there; 1. Most of the staff are friendly & accommodating, always willing to help in their own little way possible. 2. The general cleanliness is commendable. Most of the places I passed through are sparkling clean. 3. They have good parking lots, mostly for disabled and those with kids etc. Highly recommended for people living around Antrim & it's environs.β
βKerrsland Surgery is excellent. It is a truly friendly, caring and professional team who really look after their patients. When my elderly father phoned last week, the receptionist not only dealt with his enquiry, but as she had seen that there was a note on his records requesting he speak to a GP, she very kindly suggested she would request a call back for him that day. He was delighted to get a call from Dr Coulter later that morning. I was really impressed by the way my father was treated. Thank you so muchβ
βI visit here at least one day per month. I get podiatry treatment. The building and interior are excellent. Very airy and squeaky clean. All visitors are asked to wear masks. All the covid measures are in place in this building.β
βVery welcoming staff. Made the experience very easyβ
βMy son goes to SALT ( Sarah ). I can say sheβs very professional, patient and knowledgeable. He loves visiting this community center. Itβs also accessible by public transport. Great experience!β
βThis is a fabulous practice. My Mum has cancer and the practice look after her so well. My own care here is also amazing, the front desk team are very professional and efficient and the medical team are thorough. Feel really lucky to have been able to register here.β

βStaff are friendly and helpful. My kids love David as he puts them at ease and makes visiting the dentist less scary. I go to Joan and again she provides great service and treatment. No hesitation in recommending them at all.β
βEasy website to manoeuvre around. If you have to call you are dealt with in a quick and timely mannerβ
βI recently had the pleasure of contacting the Hughes Insurance customer support team, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! A few weeks ago, I spoke with a delightful representative named Laura, who handled my insurance inquiries with remarkable knowledge and kindness. Laura took the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring I fully understood my options. Her genuine care for customers was evident, and itβs clear that Hughes Insurance values each client and strives to provide exceptional service. I've never encountered such a great customer support team experience in Northern Ireland before. Because of Lauraβs outstanding assistance, I am more than happy to recommend Hughes Insurance to my family, friends, and anyone in need of insurance services. Thank you once again, Laura, for making my experience so positive!β
βSuffice to say that we are fortunate and most grateful to be looked after so efficiently by a well-directed team of excellent doctors, nurses, reception and clerical staff!β
βAttended yesterday due to asthma symptoms. In area visiting family so not registered at practice. The staff couldnβt be more helpful, unfortunately I canβt recall her name but the lady on reception with the enviably neat pony tail was fantastic. Nursing and medical staff also great they had good understanding and a compassionate ear. Patients in this catchment area are very lucky indeed.β
βWe have recently been engaging with the practice, my husband for a mental health issue and my daughter for a skin issue. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and compassion from Nurse Practioner Stephen and Dr Kinnear during this time. I will be forever grateful for how Stephen has helped and continues to support my husband. The way they have both interacted with my 6 year old daughter has shown such genuine concern, they are excellent when dealing with kids. All the staff in the practice have been amazing.β
βBooked for the Express Travel RT-PCR Test and the experience was hassle free. Not only was it cheaper when compared to other private tests in and around Belfast, it was quick and I never had to even follow up on anything. When one of my flights got cancelled, they promptly acknowledged and empathised with my situation and got my appointment rescheduled at the nearest place. The reception was polite and the entire process was just a breeze. Got an email notification when my sample reached the labs and got my results emailed to me within 6-7 hours (quicker than promised). I totally recommend this place if you want a travel test done.β
βCalled the irwin practice today at 1040am. It took me 20mins to get through. The gp phoned me back at 1130 and has organised medication for me to be picked up before lunch. Excellent service. To wait 20mins on the phone to get through is not much considering in total i have been treated within an hour. Receptionist and gp were both professional and very helpful. Thank youβ
βItβs near the house and I can get my shopping after, as it is beside the shops. It can be difficult to get through on the phone, but what do you expect as everyone has a physical or mental issue (both) that needs a doctorβs attention. This means the GP has to see so many patients in one day and the phones ring off the hook.β
βUnlike others I've had an excellent time as an NHS patient with 352. I've always had my phonecalls answered within 3-5 rings by both switchboard and other staff. I did wait around 6 months to see a surgeon for a finger op, and a further 4 to get surgery but it was non-urgent so didn't mind. I've complex issues that the staff did everything to accomodate for me and they ensured I was kept informed with everything being undertaken whether at the clinic or with respect to the surgery. I was very fortunate to avail of an overnight room and found the staff/service fine. It was just a bit lonely given it's "PRIVATE" :) - so no facility to talk to any other patients but so long as you're prepared & bring enough to occupy yourself you can put the time in easily enough.β
βNever had a problem with Lisburn health centre. Always under pressure, but still do a good job. I had an appointment with Dr Mckee today, this man is so professional, and sorted me out with my breathing problems.β
βMy family have been with this surgery for 27 years. I've always found them to be professional, respectful, kind and thoughtful; from reception staff, to the practice nurses and the Doctors. I'm grateful for them all and the exceptional care they give, particularly during challenging times.β
βCannot fault Rosehall practice. Post Covid every aspect of the health service is struggling. Yes Iβve had to ring more than 10 times to get through but thatβs standard. Anytime Iβve needed an appointment and especially for my little one, it has NEVER been an issue being seen/phone consultation. They donβt get the credit they deserve. Keep up the good workβ
βEveryone i meet is genuinely nice and trying to help, they are very busy but then they are very good so busy lovely peopleβ
βThe hospital is a district general hospital with top notch care. I can vouch for the pediatric side of the hospital. The nursing staff is probably the best that you would find in the country. The doctors are an extremely dedicated team genuinely interested in the well being of the little ones. The facilities are at par with the best that can be expected from a hospital of this size. Great centre for the children with diabetes as well. Some seriously good work is being done here in all departments including cancer diagnosis, cytopathology, obstetrics medicine and mental health. Yes the A and E is overflowing but the team does their best to give relief to all attendees.β
βI left the below comment 4 years ago with 1 star, and it has changed and largely improved now by 2024. β If I could, I will give them (Dunlice Family Practice, known as Kelly Practice before) 0 star. Iβve been trying to book a vaccine appointment for a month and have to call them back continuesly every week/3 days, still got nothing. They canβt call you back with available appointments, and you canβt book appointments online neither. Every time I call them, they always seem so busy that they want to end the call ASAP. Come on, whoβs not busy?! Never had this bad experience with any other GP before. I would recommend everyone to stay away from them, and Iβm changing my GP. No more time to be wasted on them.β
βMy Dad went to Cregagh Nursing home for respite care after being discharged from hospital. Initially I was concerned because of some previous reviews. However my Dadβs time here has proved times must have changed at Cregagh. The staff are all very welcoming and they create a very pleasant environment for the residents. The atmosphere in the home is relaxed, yet professional. Dad is quite a fussy eater but he enjoyed the food. His room was warm, clean and spacious. Dadβs physical recovery has been continual from his arrival here and now heβs ready to come home.β
βIt is easy to find with very large signs outside. Modern, very professional. Very large seating area with plenty of natural light. Well stocked drinks and snacks machines. The coffee machine wasn't working, unfortunately. I waited for 30 minutes before a nurse checked me over. I had 2 ECG's, 3 blood tests and a chest X-ray inside the 9 hours before leaving. The blood tests took a minimum of 90 minutes to be processed, enough time to pop down to the shop for wraps, sandwiches and coffee.β
βAs a lifelong patient of Priory Surgery for 49 years, I have witnessed the evolution of healthcare services offered by this practice. Over the years, I have encountered various changes, some of which have posed challenges in securing timely appointments with general practitioners. I fully empathize with fellow patients who share similar struggles in accessing their GP services. However, amidst these challenges, I feel compelled to highlight the exemplary service provided by Dr. Kieran Kelly. His dedication to patient care is truly remarkable and sets a high standard within the practice. Dr. Kelly consistently goes above and beyond his duty, demonstrating an unparalleled commitment to his patients' well-being. His thorough approach and genuine concern for health issues make every appointment worthwhile, despite the hurdles one might face in obtaining them. The quality of care offered by Dr. Kelly is a significant strength of Priory Surgery. He not only listens attentively but also provides insightful guidance tailored to individual health needs. If there were an opportunity to nominate him for an award recognizing outstanding service, I would wholeheartedly support such a nomination. In conclusion, while navigating appointment scheduling can be challenging at times, the exceptional care provided by Dr. Kieran Kelly makes it a valuable experience worth pursuing. He is undoubtedly a credit to Priory Surgery and embodies the ethos of compassionate healthcare that all patients seek. Thank you, Dr. Kelly, for your unwavering dedication; you are truly an asset to the community.β
βReception staff are always pleasant and helpful. Hard to get through on the phone in the mornings but that's the same in every GP practice. Always get a phone call back from a GP on the day. The nurses are lovely with me and my baby also.β
