“Came up to visit my dad from Devon and we came here to get some fish and chips. He’s been multiple times and has never had a bad experience. We both got fish and chips and he got curry sauce and it was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t recommend this place more. The prices were good, not too expensive, and they cooked the fish for you pretty much on arrival. Jane, the lovely lady who served us, was helpful and went through all the options available and was so kind. I cannot recommend this place enough. Please come here if you’re ever in Shirley or live nearby!”

“I have to leave a review for this pub as it’s our regular, honestly one of the best pubs I’ve been to… The service is 10/10 and the atmosphere is incredible, all staff are friendly and Sam is very attentive and makes sure you’re well catered for. “I thought I visit this lounge as i heard good stuff and it did not disappoint, the shisha was reasonably price and i believe its one of the cheapest in Birmingham. The lounge is well decorated and alot of good flavours on the menu along with drinks and mocktails. The service is friendly and the guy at the counter is knowledgeable on the flavours.”

“I was warmly welcomed by a friendly lady (I didn't get her name). She was working all alone. I waited for my food and it was worth the wait. The chips were great, the kebab was great and the curry sauce was tasty. Cannot fault anything here. Just wish I had the lady's name to thank her.”

“Just received a delivery from Spring Lane Fish Bar. Food is beautiful. Fish battered to perfection. Mixed kebab with chips were the same. I always collected from there when I worked in a care home around the corner. Residents loved the chips. Fantastic”
