“Fantastic flavours. Good oprions for different dietary requirement. My wife & I are local and love it here for the broad choice, spotless premises, welcoming staff and truly delicious fresh food. Everything comes hot and not microwaved. They're a polite, honest establishment that makes a truly decent curry. Prices are an absolute bargain also! Good for a cheapie night in or a big family get together- or treat the missus for a dine in.”

“We recently had to arrange a family funeral and decided to hold the reception here for 20 people after the service. It was a great choice. We had a dedicated seating area reserved for us, the buffet was delicious and plentiful but most importantly, the staff were polite, friendly and very efficient. Can not thank them enough and we would highly recommend the Horse and Jockey”

“Lovely clean room bathroom spotless great view of the canal in the morning on the deck chairs provided with a nice coffee supplied in the room great cobs what's not to enjoy also a kitchenette and dining area lovely place and lovely people who run we was even allowed an early check in thank you”

“Amazing service especially at 4 in the morning we managed to get 3 traditional English breakfast with a beer in under 5 minutes and it was very good quality. It was not to busy at 4 in the morning so that might have helped. The waiters were very polite and were able to answer all of our requests. I attached the breakfast menu as well.”

Hospitable staff and two levels to sprawl yourself over whilst enjoying a nice cup of joe and feasting on some pancakes if you’re lucky enough to be there on a Tuesday. Plenty of seating and power points available to charge your devices. There’s couches, large tables and individual tables to work from with free WiFi available. Hot latte costs 2.9 pounds and there’s a bathroom on site. They also have a bottomless brunch if you’re brave enough to participate on the weekends for 22.5 all day long! #BeatTheGrind”

I stopped in for breakfast and after a delicious 2 cheese, mushroom and bacon (veggie options are abundant too) omelette, I'm now ready to power on through my day. “Dined at lunchtime with friends, there was a lovely chilled atmosphere with South American vibes. We chose from the lunchtime menu which was great value. I had the pulled beef burrito bowl it was very tasty the deal came with a choose of drinks I chose an Aperol spritz! Our server was lovely very friendly and helpful- I shall be returning with my family!”

“I'm a pensioner and I only wanted a piece of chicken. When the lovely owner asked me if I wanted chips I said no thank you, but he said you have to have chips with it and gave me a scoop of chips with no extra charge. What a great chippy all the staff are great”

“We popped in to have some food here. The prepayment system is easy to use, and the staff helped us to have a card and top it up. There are different eateries with Korian, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese food. The concept is perfect, the staff is friendly, the food is tasty, and we had massive portions. I will definitely visit when I visit Birmingham next time.”

“Found this gem just 20 minutes away from home. Fabulous independent pub with a Micro Brewery. Food was very tasty and portions generous ( we didnt have room left for dessert), well presented and brought to the table piping hot with a smile from the young lady serving us. Will definitely be returning there ( need to try the desserts).”

Love the food- be it chicken or lamb or vegetarian. Absolutely moist and tender meat. And to add cherry on top- staff are welcoming - warm and most importantly smily. “We came today for a Sunday Roast after a party night. AMAZING! Nice portions, good food quality. Gravy was handmade and the meat was perfectly cooked (I had pork and it was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside) Vinny has been so kind to us, checking if everything was alright and being so fast on any command needed :)”

“Had a fantastic experience here for a work lunch with a group of seven. We were welcomed with complimentary bread and dips to start, which was a lovely touch. For my main I ordered the lamb gyros, which came with a delicious cheese-filled lamb kebab — an unexpected treat! To top it off, we were surprised with free cheesecake for dessert. “Friendly and attentive staff. Sitting inside was very cosy and made you feel relaxed. Looking out the window you have the canal and barges to look at. There are lots of different drink options from soft drinks, beers on tap and even cocktails. Its well worth a visit if you are in the area.”

Main Beef cooked so tender and the Veg were unbelievable A 2hour sitting was perfect.Staff polite and attentive as always. Cost was less than other places we had looked at ..Please please same again next year.. Another visit here its a MUST for meat eaters..Gorgeous sharing platter meat cooked perfectly the Mrs tried mixed noodles looked fantastic and tasted superb. Great food couldn't fault it.. Great choice of drinks to. Nice to see a local business busy again after the last couple of years. A defo revist soon even if just for a pint..or 2.”
