“Top mark's for being open, after most other good coffee shops had closed. A notable mention also, for taking Amex, when many places do not (not judging, I get it, but, nice for me that Elio do). Burnt Basque Cheesecake, if you please. That's cool. Atmosphere is light, bright, and airy (and a bit noisy, like most big spaces are). And the coffee? Expertly poured, for sure. Good stuff. Edit: OMG, I've just devoured the cheesecake .... absolutely superb.”

What was meant to be a quick drink to pass the time turned into such a pleasant experience! The owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we were comfortable. They even went the extra mile to check and accommodate our children's allergies when we ordered them some toast. We sat outside in the seating area, and the kids loved the fresh air! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere shifted completely. The aroma of the coffee was intoxicating, and the cafe buzzed with a genuinely happy energy. I ordered a coffee, and Zeee, the coffee Maestro, asked how my day was going. When I mentioned I was stressed, she took the time to chat with me, giving me her full attention despite how busy they were. She then made me the most beautiful coffee with a little heart in the foam. It was such a small gesture, but it completely turned my day around. The coffee was fantastic, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and Zee's kindness was the cherry on top. Hello Cafe is now officially my go-to spot. And their complimentary biscuits 10/10. “I don't bother to review unless the experience is extremely unsatisfactory or highly pleasing. Happy to say this fell into the latter. Been craving for some burger, decided to go on a Thursday night to find the place totally empty. Still sceptical, was looking at the menu, when a friendly chap greeted us. There are good options for non-veg(beef/chicken) and veg burgers and wraps. We decided on a avo-chicken and a farm house veg burger for my partner. With little expectations we waited for our food, but pleasantly surprised when it arrived in huge portions. The chicken was perfectly grilled with good flavours of parsley and herbs which I enjoyed, seemed to be a Turkish/mid eastern take on chicken patty. The veg burger was also delectable with fried cheese. The chips were super crispy and batter fried with proper seasonings. While waiting, there were quite a few takeaways, so wasn't that empy after all. In all we had a very satisfied meal, very much recommended.”

“What I call proper home cooked food, we had cottage pie and a steak & kidney pie. Good choice of veg, both meals were hot and plenty. If still hungry puddings available. They also have a good menu catering for most tastes. A very short walk off the main road and bus station. Lovely staff”

“We went this morning with my 4 and 5 year old. We had been disappointed with somewhere else as we had booked to see santa and they had let us down. I came across what I believe to be the owner who said come in and see the grotto. The team looked after my children and made sure they had an amazing time. Additionally, the atmosphere, service and drinks were excellent. I will be returning for a full breakfast in the near future. “Found this place by chance on my day off. Did not disappoint. Food was lovely and reasonably priced! They allowed swaps on my breakfast which is always a bonus. Tucked away in a nice lil spot on a business estate. Food came quickly and well presented. Will definitely be returning!”
