“Went in with my grand children the other weekend lovely staff and the kids loved it”
“Part Pub; Part Community Hub - All Dog. This pub is truly a special and quirky place where I have been fortunate enough to make many great friends down the years. From the top quality Guinness, to gigs in the garden amongst an assortment of curios, to post match pints cheek and jowl with some poet in the corner. This place is unashamedly real and non-manicured, and is the perfect potion (they serve them too) for the cookie cutter offering of many other ‘boozers’ out there. Under new management who are putting their mark on the place, but keeping the legendary and irreplaceable vibe in tact.”
“The array of bread and pastries are great, with huge variety of both sweet and savoury options to have in or take away. Following suit, the menu is HUGE, especially for brunch, with lots of creative and unique options that you wouldn’t find elsewhere, mostly spins on brunch classics. We had the brisket benny, which was pretty nice. Pulled brisket and hollandaise sauce, with poached eggs and an English muffin. It was good, but didn’t quite live up to our excitement when we read it on the menu, falling a little flat. That being said, it was tasty and we will sure be back to try some other stuff as it all looked fab. I had a plain Crossiant, which unfortunately was verging on stale. Good flavour, but it was very hard and really wasn’t even close to my dreams of a flakey and light pastry. Oh well. The teas we had were very tasty, and the vibes in the place are pretty cool. There’s many rooms to choose from, so it does feel cosy and atmospheric. The staff were also nice, being pretty attentive and got the job done.”
“Customer service is amazing. Food was spot on, not too expensive and came with a good amount of flavour. The hand cut chips were really the star of the show.”
“I have visited this wonderful cafe loads of times and each time it is amazing. The food and drinks are delicious. There is never a wait for a table. The owner is lovley. The cupboards full of games, toys and books and the atmosphere is cozy and perfect. Would 100% recommend you visit.”
“Absolutely amazing micro pub, lovely owners, and great selection of beer and cider”
“Popped in here a couple of times whilst camping. Nice friendly pub - very clean and bright with nice furnishings. Staff very friendly and pub is dog friendly too.”
“An unforgettable taste of home right here in England! My recent visit to Classic Restaurant and Lounge was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at ease. The highlight of my visit was the incredible jollof rice – a dish that transported me straight back to the flavors of home. The rich blend of spices and the perfect texture of the rice truly made it a remarkable culinary experience. To my surprise, they even had EWA Igoyin on the menu, a beloved classic I thought I could only find in Nigeria. The attention to detail in every dish was evident, reflecting both authenticity and creativity. The ambience was cozy and relaxing, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. The staff were not only attentive but also passionate about sharing the essence of Nigerian cuisine. Classic Restaurant and Lounge has masterfully captured the essence of home-cooked flavors, making it a true gem for those seeking a taste of nostalgia. Whether you're craving a bit of comfort or a culinary adventure, this place has it all. A heartfelt thanks to the entire team for creating such an amazing experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu”
“Great selection of sweet and savoury crêpes! The crêpes are really thin and delicious! The coffee is strong and the prices are low! There is outdoor seating if you like! The go to place to energise your morning!”
“I had a medium size breakfast but couldnt eat it all. It was beautiful. Large rashers of short back bacon 2 large sausages beans toms egg and fried bread. The staff were so pleasant. I only went there after good reviews from people I know. Oh large mug of tea!!”
“The food was amazing, I wouldn’t change a single thing about it. Every course was perfect. However, if I could remove half a star I would, as we went for the wine pairing and felt that the glasses of wine were so tiny and felt more like a wine tasting. They definitely didn’t qualify as a glass of wine (pictures added). Overall we had a great experience though!”
“Lovely staff, clean environment, generous portions and great value. Yum yum.”
“Never lets us down. Whether pick up take away home delivery or eat in food is always great. Staff are so friendly nothing is too much trouble. Amazing food amazing place”

“Called here following a walk around the park. Good drinks and service on a nice sunny day. It's now our regular cafe to visit for a quick strawberry milk shake after our walk. Thank-you, be back again soon.”
“One of the best breakfasts compared to other cafe’s locally, portion sizes are good & very well priced. Staff are very friendly also. It’s 5 stars from me, my new regular !”
“A real gem of a pub within easy walking distance to Kidderminster train station. The pub does have a small car park and there is also parking available in the street. Inside the pub has a cosy bar at front with plenty of tables and also a separate restaurant area. There is a lovely long beer garden at rear with plenty of tables and seating. The food menu and specials board had lots of choice and is very reasonably priced. Good choice of real ales, beers and wines. Food quality was superb and tasty. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.”
“Best pub in Birmingham. Outstanding real ales, comfy seats and tables, amazing Indian food, and good vibes all round.”
“I have eaten there two nights in a row. Lovely little dining room with a pub room separate. The menu is diverse, modern, and has all classics (but elevated). The food was perfect. Fresh, flavorful, and presented well. Big kudos to the chef and the staff there for what they are making for this quiet little town. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area.”
“This is a cracking pub, the service is first class and the beers generally good. Love it out the back in the summer as you don't have to climb those stairs.”
“Wow planned on having a starter and a curry. 2 of us decided to share the medium mixed grill as a starter. What a spread. Only downside was when we eventually finished it we couldn't eat a curry. Thanks for the lovely food.”
“Excellent place, the quality of the coffee never changes. I think it's the best in the Kingdom, without exaggerating. Also, the people in charge of the place are extremely wonderful and very kind.”
“Was passing through waiting for a train. Lovely atmosphere and great quality Ales. Reasonably priced. Will be finding an excuse to come again!”

“Livi Hibs Real Society (West Brom Division) visited this lovely boozer on a Friday evening. Welcoming locals & staff and great selection of well kept beers made for a barry evening in this traditional pub.”
“Very last minute booking at the Solihull branch. Nice welcome and it serves Shanice was great throughout. Not just taking our orders but generally making conversation and helping us to feel as though our custom mattered. Food was crazy delicious! Had the Chicken Palka which was divine. Will definitely come again if we are ever in the area”
“My first visit and now my favourite fish and chip shop. Staff are wonderful, food is excellent, premises are spotless. Highly recommended.”
“Been going to the maverick since I was a kid with my dad and I've always loved literally everything about it, the atmosphere and surrounding in the pub is fantastic and the staff have always been really welcoming and friendly, plus they have the good crisps, I think if you are in the area you should go, it's a lovely place for a drink!”
