“Love this pub! It's so different. The art work on the walls is vintage style tattoos and made for interesting viewing. The beer selections were great and the IPA my husband had was top notch. Fresh, crisp and clean. The lines were clearly well maintained. The bar staff were friendly and attentive. The pub clearly attracts a hugely varied clientele. The Vic is defo our go to bar when we are heading to the Alex to grab a bit of culture. What we did have to chuckle about was the a cable of gents enjoying a quiet pint and when we headed into the theatre and the show started it was the band! Which if its good enough for the performers its definitely good enough for us”

“Stayed here for one night late September. Staff are SO friendly and helpful, right from check-in, and also at breakfast. There was a nice atmosphere in the hotel, which is standard corporate style, but very smart and friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean and, at last, some decent temperate controls that worked really quickly. It's worth getting breakfast. The buffet selection isn't huge, but it's big enough mix and the hot food was actually hot, and very tasty. It wasn't too much extra over the standard room price, so well worth it.”

“We booked ATJ Disco for our wedding 28th June 2025. Tony time to listen to our ideas and booked us with the most amazing DJ Simon Blizzard. This man is a DJ wizard, a genius, a Master. I have received so many positive comments from our guests. He very quickly "read" the room and our guests were dancing all evening, the dance floor was never empty. We could not have asked for a better DJ, we will be forever grateful to both Tony for his communication, and his impeccable choice, and to Simon, again for his communication, reliability, Simon arrived and was set up bang on time, he then gave us all the most wonderful evening. “The best place to get cannoli’s! A super friendly and inviting older gentleman served us, and even walked us out of the shop. It’s quaint and has all the Italian basics ready to buy ranging from San Marzano tinned tomatoes to Italian bread, panettone and biscuits. It even serves pizza and fresh cakes and sandwiches and I simply cannot get enough! I am sold and will definitely be going back.”

“Ordered from Uber eats as didn't recognize the place, having tried a lot of the cities other Japanese food restaurants I immediately ordered! And I have to say I'm real impressed, initial thoughts are the portion sizes - spectacularly large! I love the big bowls. Everything came well packed. Food was delicious, we ordered 2 chicken katsu & 2 thighs & fries (Tokyo & Thaiger) both were delicious and incredibly unique. I would highly recommend the Thaiger personally. The katsu curry was divine also. I'm surprised it's all so good considering the fair pricing. Please keep this service up and we will return every week! Aha thank you very much”

“We popped in of an afternoon on a sunday for a cob and a pint! Atmosphere great and lovely people! Just to note cobs are cash only so we had to rummage around the car for change! Great local! Also great with kids i have a 4 year old and a 4 month old and couple of the locals ended up giving my eldest a £1 for the sweet machine as we had used all our change for cobs!! Very sweet and lovely people! 1000% recommended!”

“As soon as we walked in on Saturday early evening, we were greeted with a friendly smile and a very polite gentleman. We had not booked, but were seating immediately. The service was exceptional and the food was amazing. Definitely 9/10, it would have been 10/10 but they did not serve alcohol (I did check the website before I went). “Kareoke and Dj every Sunday 3pm till 6pm. Restaurant seating are towards the back, good bar with a nice selection of beer, cider and spirits. Food is delicious every time I've ordered having tried the Crispy Chilli Chios before, which were delicious, this time around I opted for Honey Chilli Chips, Chicken Tikka and Poppadoms with sauces. The chips were a chefs recommendation, they were fantastic, I'm glad he did so. Service is always friendly and that love surely goes into the food. It is very flavourful each time and I cannot resist the temptation to grab another dish when I am here. Thank you very much, really enjoyed.”
